  • XPath does not pass brower compatibility checks in InfoPath 2007

    - by drivendevelopment
    Why do the targetField attributes below fail the browser compatibility checker in InfoPath 2007. Is there another way to write the statement so that it will work on Browser Enabled forms? <xsf:ruleSets> <xsf:ruleSet name="ruleSet_1"> <xsf:rule caption="Rule 1" isEnabled="yes"> <xsf:assignmentAction targetField="my:group1/my:group2[1]/my:field3" expression="my:field1"></xsf:assignmentAction> </xsf:rule> <xsf:rule caption="Rule 2" isEnabled="yes"> <xsf:assignmentAction targetField="my:group1/my:group2[2]/my:field3" expression="my:field2"></xsf:assignmentAction> </xsf:rule> </xsf:ruleSet> </xsf:ruleSets>

  • Ubuntu to Ubuntu VNC over SSH tunnel

    - by rxt
I have a Linux Ubuntu desktop at home, ssh enabled, vnc server installed, router rule configured. It all works, and at home I can connect via the local network from my Mac. From the outside I can login via ssh. I've configured putty as follows: session: host name and port number connection ssh tunnel: forwarded ports: L5900|192.168.0.23 the local address is: 192.168.1.45 When I make the connection I can login to the remote machine. Then I open Remote Desktop Viewer. I click connect protocol: vnc host: ? use host as ssh tunnel: ? I don't know what to use for the last two options. Which ip-addresses should I use?

  • How to style content in jQuery Facebox

    - by musoNic80
    I'm using jQuery Facebox plugin to create some modal windows. One situation is to display errors that might occur. If JS is disabled, I do this by displaying any errors in a normal div that is styled by CSS using a class selector. If the user does have JS enabled however, that div is hidden and the info is displayed in a facebox. The problem I have is that all the CSS styling is lost when the data is displayed within a facebox window. I understand that you can attach extra classes if you're calling facebox from a rel attribute in an anchor tag, but I'm using it programatically. Is there a way I can bind something to the facebox method? Here's my js code (the HTML should be self-explanatory): $(document).ready(function() { $(".errors").hide(); // hides the non-js error div $.errors = $(".errors").html(); // get the html from the error div if($.errors!==''){ $.facebox($.errors); // if there are any errors, display them in facebox } });

  • Running NUnit tests in Visual Studio 2010 with code coverage

    - by adrianbanks
We have recently upgraded from Visual Studio 2008 to Visual Studio 2010. As part of our code base, we have a very large set of NUnit tests. We would like to be able to run these unit tests within Visual Studio, but with code coverage enabled. We have ReSharper, so can run the tests within Visual Studio, but it does not allow the code coverage tool to do its thing and generate the coverage statistics. Is there any way to make this work, or will we have to convert the tests over to MSTest?

  • ruby-debug with Pow -- breakpoints never hit

    - by 99miles
I'm trying to use ruby-debug with Pow. Rails 3 app. I have done everything here: https://gist.github.com/1098830 I've restarted the server and machine several times. I can get rdebug to connect: ? rdebug -c Connected. but it never stops at the breakpoints. Any idea what could be going on? I got it to hit a few breakpoints a few hours ago, and not since. controller def index debugger ... end Gemfile gem 'ruby-debug19', :require => 'ruby-debug' development.rb EG::Application.configure do ... require 'ruby-debug' Debugger.start_remote Debugger.settings[:autoeval] = true puts "=> Debugger enabled" end

  • TFS and code coverage for web application (MVC) assemblies not working

    - by Andrew
I've got an MVC web application with associated controller tests that run under a TFS build as per normal. I can see the tests running and passing in the build log and they appear in the "Result details for Any CPU/Release" section of the build I also have a number of other assemblies with associated tests that are running in the same build. Tests are passing and the details are being shown in the results and logs just fine. I've enabled code coverage in the build script and the testrunconfig. The coverage is appearing for all assemblies EXCEPT the web application even though it looks like the tests have been run for it. Is there anything obvious that I have missed or some sort of work around that I need to do? I've searched around for a while and haven't found an answer. Has anyone got code coverage working for MVC web applications?

  • Can't access web service when connected to the network :: HTTP 407

    - by Ian
Hi All, I have a console application that communicates with a web service. Both of them are on the same machine. When I am accessing the web service with the LAN disabled, it connects without a problem. But if the LAN is enabled and connected to our office network, I receive this error: "HTTP 407 Proxy Authentication required - The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy service is denied." We've been hunting the source of the problem for three days now. We have tried everything that we can think of. Any ideas what's causing the problem? Additional notes: - The machine is in a Workgroup setup but with DNS suffix (computer.local). When accessing the web service, we type the address as "http://machine.computer.local/service.asmx" I talked to the IT guys and they said that we don't have an ISA server installed There is no "proxy" set in IE. The machine is in mint condition.

  • DataBinding: ComboBox.Text not updating when SelectedValue changes?

    - by Rob
This is the relevant designer code for the ComboBox: Me.ProbationComboBox.DataBindings.Add(New System.Windows.Forms.Binding("Enabled", Me.RegistrationBindingSource, "IsRegistered", True)) Me.ProbationComboBox.DataBindings.Add(New System.Windows.Forms.Binding("SelectedValue", Me.RegistrationBindingSource, "ProbationID", True)) Me.ProbationComboBox.DataSource = Me.ProbationBindingSource Me.ProbationComboBox.DisplayMember = "probation" Me.ProbationComboBox.ValueMember = "id" The problem is that when I call RegistrationBindingSource.ResetCurrentItem(), the SelectedValue property is refreshed with the correct value from RegistrationBindingSource.ProbationID(). However, the Text property is not updated. Until I can figure out the problem with my binding, I've been doing this as a fix: Me.ProbationComboBox.Text = CType(CType(Me.ProbationBindingSource.Current, DataRowView).Row, RootNamespace.DataSet.probationRow).probation Any ideas? Your assistance is appreciated!

  • Why does xdebug crash apache on every XAMPP install I've tried?

    - by Ian Cook
I've installed the Windows XAMPP package on three separate computers, 2 running Windows Vista 32 bit ( 1 Ultimate / 1 Home Premium ) and 1 running Windows Vista 64 Home Premium. After enabling xdebug in php.ini and restarting apache, viewing the default XAMPP localhost index causes apache to crash in the same way every time, reporting 'php_xdebug.dll' as the Fault Module Name. Here's the full report from the Windows Crash Reporter thing: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: apache.exe Application Version: 2.2.9.0 Application Timestamp: 4853f994 Fault Module Name: php_xdebug.dll Fault Module Version: 2.0.3.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 47fcd9b9 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00008493 OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: a34a Additional Information 2: c9c5f4fd744690d388ab9d5b3eb051a7 Additional Information 3: cb2e Additional Information 4: 650bb5690556a17e911375b94d3e16f0 I've tried Googling this issue but haven't found any resolution, only reports of similar errors. EDIT: I enabled the extension line for php_xdebug.dll and that seems to have stopped the crashing so far.

  • Trouble connecting to vsftpd on ubuntu server

    - by littleK
I have installed Ubuntu Server 10.10 and I am using it to host a domain that I have. I am trying to set up FTP for the server, but I am running into some problems. I have successfully installed vsFTPd and I have opened up ports 20, 21 on my firewall. In my vsFTPd configuration, I have enabled SSL. Every time I try to connect to my server via FTP, I receive a "Connection Refused" error. I have had a little more success with SSL disabled, however the connection process will time out after the LIST command (but it does accept my authentication). Here is my vsFTPd configuration, the SSL stuff is at the bottom: # Example config file /etc/vsftpd.conf # # The default compiled in settings are fairly paranoid. This sample file # loosens things up a bit, to make the ftp daemon more usable. # Please see vsftpd.conf.5 for all compiled in defaults. # # READ THIS: This example file is NOT an exhaustive list of vsftpd options. # Please read the vsftpd.conf.5 manual page to get a full idea of vsftpd's # capabilities. # # # Run standalone? vsftpd can run either from an inetd or as a standalone # daemon started from an initscript. listen=YES # # Run standalone with IPv6? # Like the listen parameter, except vsftpd will listen on an IPv6 socket # instead of an IPv4 one. This parameter and the listen parameter are mutually # exclusive. #listen_ipv6=YES # # Allow anonymous FTP? (Disabled by default) anonymous_enable=NO # # Uncomment this to allow local users to log in. local_enable=YES # # Uncomment this to enable any form of FTP write command. write_enable=YES # # Default umask for local users is 077. You may wish to change this to 022, # if your users expect that (022 is used by most other ftpd's) #local_umask=022 # # Uncomment this to allow the anonymous FTP user to upload files. This only # has an effect if the above global write enable is activated. Also, you will # obviously need to create a directory writable by the FTP user. #anon_upload_enable=YES # # Uncomment this if you want the anonymous FTP user to be able to create # new directories. #anon_mkdir_write_enable=YES # # Activate directory messages - messages given to remote users when they # go into a certain directory. dirmessage_enable=YES # # If enabled, vsftpd will display directory listings with the time # in your local time zone. • IIS7 and 301 permanent redirects using the location tag in web.config

    - by Mike
I need to setup some 301 permanent redirects in the web.config of an ASP.NET MVC application running under IIS. The easiest way is to add a tag similar to the one below to the web.config file: <location path="TheMenu.aspx"> <system.webServer> <httpRedirect enabled="true" destination="menus/" httpResponseStatus="Permanent" /> </system.webServer> </location> When I go to the site at http://domain.com/TheMenu.aspx it redirects me to http://domain.com/menusxd instead of http://domain.com/menus. What would be causing this?

  • Ruby on Rails protect_from_forgery best practice

    - by randombits
I'm currently working on building a RESTful web api with ruby on rails. I haven't bothered putting a proper authentication scheme into the API yet as I'm ensuring that tests and the basic behavior of the API is working all locally first. Upon testing non-HTTP GET type requests such as HTTP POST/DELETE/PUT, stuff chokes because protect_from_forgery is on by default. How does this work when I'm working in practice since essentially the idea is in a RESTful API that there is no state. The client does not have a session or a cookie associated with the server. Each request is an atomic, self-executed request. The user will supply some credentials to ensure they are who they say they are, but other than that, does protect_from_forgery make sense at this point? Should it remain enabled?

  • What the performance impact of enabling WebSphere PMI

    - by Andrew Whitehouse
I am currently looking at some JProfiler traces from our WebSphere-based application, and am noticing that a significant amount of CPU time is being spent in the class com.ibm.io.async.AsyncLibrary.getCompletionData2. I am guessing, but I am wondering whether this is PMI-related (and we do have this enabled). My knowledge of PMI is limited, as this is managed by another team. Is it expected that PMI can have this sort of impact? (If so) Is the only option to turn it off completely? Or are there some types of data capture that have a particularly high overhead?

  • Client authentication with RubyLDAP ldap

    - by Marcelo de Moraes Serpa
Hello all, I'm trying to implement a feature that uses LDAP over SSL (SSL, not TLS), it needs to connect to a SSL-enabled LDAP server (i.e OpenLDAP), bind and then do any additional queries. It also needs to support client-authentication, and this is where things get tricky: The client is a web application written in Ruby, and we are using RubyLDAP (so far we have used it for non-SSL ldap stuff with great success). My question is: Is there a way to load a client certificate and send its data over the wire to the LDAP server when doing a LDAP::SSLConn? I haven't found anything obvious on the API docs (http://ruby-ldap.sourceforge.net/rdoc/) nor while googling around. I know I that I can prevent the server from asking for a certificate by putting the following on slapd.conf (OpenLDAP): TLSVerifyClient never However, this is not an option here. Thanks, Marcelo.

  • PyOpenGL: glVertexPointer() offset problem

    - by SurvivalMachine
My vertices are interleaved in a numpy array (dtype = float32) like this: ... tu, tv, nx, ny, nz, vx, vy, vz, ... When rendering, I'm calling gl*Pointer() like this (I have enabled the arrays before): stride = (2 + 3 + 3) * 4 glTexCoordPointer( 2, GL_FLOAT, stride, self.vertArray ) glNormalPointer( GL_FLOAT, stride, self.vertArray + 2 ) glVertexPointer( 3, GL_FLOAT, stride, self.vertArray + 5 ) glDrawElements( GL_TRIANGLES, len( self.indices ), GL_UNSIGNED_SHORT, self.indices ) The result is that nothing renders. However, if I organize my array so that the vertex position is the first element ( ... vx, vy, vz, tu, tv, nx, ny, nz, ... ) I get correct positions for vertices while rendering but texture coords and normals aren't rendered correctly. This leads me to believe that I'm not setting the pointer offset right. How should I set it? I'm using almost the exact same code in my other app in C++ and it works.

  • Debug.WriteLine not working

    - by Velika
In the past, perhaps versions of Visual Studio prior to the 2008 that I am using now, I would do something like this in my VB.NET code: System.Diagnostics.Debug.WriteLine("Message") ..and the output would go to the output window. Now it doesn't. Something must first apparently be enabled. If this involves "attaching a debugger", please explain how to do it. It seems to me that it should just work without too much of a fuss. Here's a video explaining the issue in real time and showing you all my settings http://screencast.com/t/YQnPb0mJcs I'm using VS2008

  • USB enumeration failure in ColdFire MCF52259

    - by Quicksilver
Anybody with programming experience on the ColdFire line, please help! I'm using the CMX USB-Lite stack with the ColdFire MCF52259. For some reason, USB enumeration fails at the very first step, as soon as I enable the DP pull-up resistor. This is what I'm doing :- INT_ENB, OTG_INT_EN, ERR_ENB are set to 0x0 INT_STAT, OTG_INT_STAT and ERR_STAT are set to 0xff (This should clear all interrupts) In the Interrupt Status Register, bits 0 (Mask All) and 53 are made 0, all others are 1. TOK_DNE, USB_RST and STALL interrupts are enabled in INT_ENB. BDT base address is set. MCF_USB_CTL holds 0x1 PROBLEM: After the host issues the first reset (at which point I enable Control endpoint 0), instead of the expected Get Descriptor request I'm getting an endless series of resets. At least, that's what it looks like, because the TOK_DNE interrupt never triggers. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

  • Accessing PerSession service simultaneously in WCF using C#

    - by krishna555
1.) I have a main method Processing, which takes string as an arguments and that string contains some x number of tasks. 2.) I have another method Status, which keeps track of first method by using two variables TotalTests and CurrentTest. which will be modified every time with in a loop in first method(Processing). 3.) When more than one client makes a call parallely to my web service to call the Processing method by passing a string, which has different tasks will take more time to process. so in the mean while clients will be using a second thread to call the Status method in the webservice to get the status of the first method. 4.) when point number 3 is being done all the clients are supposed to get the variables(TotalTests,CurrentTest) parallely with out being mixed up with other client requests. 5.) The code that i have provided below is getting mixed up variables results for all the clients when i make them as static. If i remove static for the variables then clients are just getting all 0's for these 2 variables and i am unable to fix it. Please take a look at the below code. • Cufon delay in WordPress, Mac/Safari/FF...

    - by luke
Using cufon 'manually' not the plugin.... I have a delay on many page loads in Safari and FF on the Cufon enabled headings.... http://www.budewebdesign.com/haf Tried moving Cufon higher up (eg before wp_head() and the plugin code that calls, without any real effect. Some pages no problem but others just a long enough delay to be annoying. I'm not really keen on hiding the headings before the page load completes as is suggested elsewhere. If it loads without delay some of the time, I wonder if it can be made to 'all' of the time :) My connection speed is good. Thanks for any ideas on this.

  • Query Cache Issues - releasing cache locks?

    - by Corey Coogan
I have enabled query caching to use the NHibernate.Caches.Prevalence.PrevalenceCacheProvider provider. This is running on IIS 7, WCF service. I have limited rights to what I can do, but I'm getting an exception about releasing cache locks. I've created the following 2 directories in the system32/inetsrv directory and given full control to the account IIS is using. NHibernate.Cache.StandardQueryCache Some other cache dir I can think of right now This doesn't happen in my local environment so I'm thinking this is somehow related to caching. Do I need to give the IIS account full control to the inetsrv dir as well?

When I am editing the contents of a document inside the WebBrowser and I press the key E the button close is called. It appears that it is treating TWebBrowser like other controls that don't handle keys (e.g. TButton). How can I solve this? Thanks in advance.

  • How-to limit feature functionality

    - by ph0enix
Are there any standard or "best practice" ways of limiting feature functionality for a particular application? Example: We have a product with a variety of features, and our customers can pick and choose which features they would like to use, and the cost of the product varies based on which features they are actually using. In the past, we have distributed along with our software installer an encrypted license file that contains information about the customer, as well as the collection of features that they have enabled. In code, we read from the license file and enable the functionality according to the license file. This seems to work fine, except there a few disadvantages: Upgrading users with new functionality can be sort of a pain If a particular feature shows up in multiple places throughout the application, a developer might not realize that this feature should be licensed, and forget to check the license file before granting functionality to the user If the license file becomes corrupted, deleted, moved, renamed, etc. the application will not run We're getting ready to roll out a new set of features, and I was just curious what others in the community have done to tackle this problem?

    - by Shoaib Shaikh
I am currently developing an Android app i previously developed for IPhone. My Backend is built using WCF service with basichttpEndpoint, i also enabled RESTful methods for better support with other Mobile platforms as well. Now i want to access my existing WCF service(SOAP/REST endpoint) on Android but i need some good ProxyGenerator to consume my services. I just google around for some solution and i found wsimport and wsdl2java(Axis) are two options in java domain. But i am still unable to find any solution related to Android. Can anyone suggest me the best practice in such scenario?

  • Why is XCode Organizer console sometimes empty when I connect my iPhone

    - by toofah
When testing my iPhone app I have found it incredibly useful to log information to the console window. I think it is amazing that I can send out an adhoc build to my co-workers and if they experience problems I am able to plug their iPhone into my mac and grab their console output. However, sometimes the console window is blank when we do this. Why is this the case? The code has been built with logging enabled. Besides that, it seems that the console output, when I see it, contains information about not only my app, but other iphone system logging. Thanks for any insight you can provide.
