• jQuery dialog box not opening 2nd time

  I found this thread which basically has the same issue I have. But their solution is not working for me. The dialog appears the first time I click the submit button, but not the 2nd time. I'm opening the dialog box after a form submission. UPDATE I finally got it working.   I have to concat 2 linq2sql query and I have an issue since the 2 query doesn't return the same number of columns, what is weird is after a .ToList() on the queries, they can concat without problem. The reason is, for some linq2sql reason, I have 2 more column named test and test2 which come from 2 left outer join that linq2sql automatically create, something like "select 1 as test, tablefields" Is there any good reason for that? how to remove this extra "1 as test" field? here a few of examples of what it look like: google result for linq 2 sql "select 1 as test"

There are between one and twenty options for each Name. Without iterating though each option like a cursor, is there any way to pull out a list of objects, one for each unique DDL Name, using Linq and C#? I'm looking for a way to reconcile the two without having to process the list twice. Currently, I'm doing this: For Each f as FileInfo In FileListFromDatabase If f.Exists is False, mark it as deleted in the database Next For Each f as FileInfo In RecursiveListOFFilesOnDisk If Not FileExistsInDatabase, then add it Next Is there a better way to do this? I'd like to avoid converting all the matching files (of which most will be) to FileInfo objects twice. Since I'm a T-SQL developer first, I'm picturing something like an OUTER JOIN of the two lists where they don't match. Something LINQ-ish?

  I have a trigger that contains two cursors loops, one nested inside the other like this: FOR outer_rec IN outer_cursor LOOP FOR inner_rec IN inner_cursor LOOP -- Do some calculations END LOOP; END LOOP; Somewhere in this it is throwing the following error: ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than requested number of rows I've been trying to determine where it's coming from for an hour or so.. but should this error never happen? Also.. I am assuming the inner loop automatically closes and opens itself again every time the outer loop goes the next record, i hope this is correct.

If my understanding of multiple selectors in jQuery is correct, it should be grabbing the outer <span> element AND the inner <div> element. But for some reason, if I use $thisField.prepend("hi"); it ends up putting hi right before the text Question 1, but not before <div>. I thought multiple selectors would grab both elements, and that prepend() adds hi to the beginning of BOTH elements, not just the <div>

  I have a time that is being sent to me in UTC time, but I want to adjust it so its the outer edges of the days on East Coast time (EST/EDT). That is, I want the user to be able to enter in EDT/EST centric dates, and have it query with the UTC correct dates. $start_date and $end_date are MM/DD/YYYY formatted dates passed via a GET variable. $start_date = date('Y-m-d 00:00:00', $start_date); $end_date = date('Y-m-d 23:59:59', $end_date); These dates are for use in a database query, whose times are stored in UTC time. So, I want the start date to be the day before at 8pm or 7pm, depending on daylight savings, and then to end at 7:59:59 or 6:59:59, again depending on daylight savings. How would I do that?

  Alright I'm currently lost on a particular assignment I have for a class. I've seen many examples of this app but none of them see to help my problem is as follows: Write a Sub procedure "DisplaySquare" to display the solid square. The size should be specified by the integer parameter "size". The character that fills the square should be specified by the string parameter "fillCharacter. Use a For...Next statement nested within another For...Next statement to create the square. The outer For...Next specifies what row is currently being displayed. The inner For...Next appends all the characters that form the row to a display string.   Hi, I have a listbox where the itemtemplate is using a style. The styles specifies a border with a datatrigger setting the visibility of the border to collapsed depending on a property. This works fine except I can still see a very narrow line for each item, in the list, that is collapsed. I was hoping someone could help with how to set the visibility so that there are no visible traces as this is quite apparent when consecutive items have been collapsed. The datatemplate specifies an outer border with a dockpanel inside of this - there are then stackpanels docked to this. Any help is appreciated.
