    I downloaded the iPhone 4.0 Beta. But for my projects I need to compile for 3.1.3 to be able to still submit my projects to the App Store. If I run an old project that isn't a problem I can see all the versions, but when I start a new project I can only pick the 4.0 beta, how can I fix this?

    Is there any way of placing a file into application "sandbox" i.e into eg: /var/mobile/Applications/30B51836-D2DD-43AA-BCB4-9D4DADFED6A2/Documents of iphone? My Application expects a file to be put into /Documents folder of application so that it can be uploaded to my local server. This method should confirm to the rules of Apple so that it should not be rejected.

  • Create a view like Tweetie's User Profile view

    Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea on how you can create a view that looks like the user profile view in apps like Tweetie, where there are seemingly multiple tables with a couple of normal (straight up and down tables) and then two rows of six cells, which in Tweeties case have the number of followers, following etc. I'm trying to make a similar view for my app, but can't seem to find out the best way to create it. Any tutorials, advice etc. would be appreciated. Thanks. P.S. Here's a picture of the view which I'm trying to recreate.

    Hi All, I developed a iPhone application for my client. I have my own developer account, so I created the Ad Hoc and App Store Distribution profiles by using my account. Now the thing is, my client want to submit the app by using his account. He has his own account. I want to know, Should I give the distribution build, which is made by using my distribution profile?     I have one crash in my iPhone application that does throw an NSException. The crash reports are completely ambiguous in where the error is and what exactly is causing it. Is there a smart way for me to set a top level exception handler somewhere to see what is causing it? I can't replicate the problem myself, but a few of my beta users certainly can.     I have a UITableView with an Index on the side; I want to add a UISearchBar to it, but the index overlaps with the "x" to clear the search. I've noticed in the Contacts application, the textfield within the UISearchBar is resized to accommodate this, but I can't work out how to do this in my own app. I have tried the following in my viewDidLoad, but it does not seem to work. UITextField * textField = (UITextField *)[[self.search subviews] objectAtIndex:0]; CGRect r = textField.frame; [textField setFrame:CGRectMake(r.origin.x, r.origin.y, r.size.height, r.size.width-30)]; Any ideas?
