  I try define class decorator. I have problem with __init__ method in decorated class. If __init__ method invokes super the RuntimeError maximum recursion depth exceeded is raised. • Fluent: Table name different from entity name

  I am trying to use the automapping feature of Fluent with nHinbernate to map a class with a different name than the table itself is name. (This is purely for stylistic reasons we have a class named Foo which contains an object named Bar but the table name is FooBar. We would rather not have a property Foo.FooBar.) I can't find anything detailing how to give Fluent a clue on this change.

  private string[] GetRoles() { string[] foo = {"Test"}; return foo; } The above compiles, but... private string[] GetRoles() { return {"Test"}; } Does not. Replacing it with: return new string[] { "Test" }; Will obviously compile though. Is this inconsistancy or am i being stupid, or am i just wrong :S.

Is there a way to avoid updating all of our properties files, by indicating a default value in the Spring config for when there isn't an overriding property value defined?

However, I want the directory that is split into a separate repo to remain a subdirectory in that repo: I have this: foo/ .git/ bar/ baz/ qux/ And I want: foo/ .git/ bar/ baz/ quux/ .git/ qux/ # Note: still a subdirectory How to do this in git? The code is this: set (mylibs "-lmylib -lmylib2") ExternalProject_Add(Foo URL http://foo BUILD_COMMAND make SOME_LIB=${mylibs} BUILD_IN_SOURCE 1 ...) I've tried using backslash quotes, double quotes, inlining the whole thing, but every time, either the whole SOME_LIB=... part gets quoted or my injected quotes get escaped. Is it not possible to get quotes through to the command line?

  In C++0x, methods can be overloaded on whether or not the expression that denotes the object on which the method is called is an lvalue or an rvalue. If I return *this from a method called via an rvalue, do I need to explicitly move from *this or not? Foo Foo::method() && { return std::move(*this); // Is this move required or not? } Unfortunately, I can't simply test this on my compiler since g++ does not support this feature yet :(

  i have a simple update query (foo column type is BOOLEAN (default false)): update tablename set foo = true where id = 234; which "id" is set to (primary) key, and if i run "explain analyze" i got: Index Cond: (id = 234) Total runtime: 0.358 ms but still, i have plenty of unexplained queries at slow log (pgfouine), which took more than 200s (?!): Times executed: 99, Av. duration (s): 70 can anyone please explain, whats the reason for that? (1.5 mio rows in table, postgresql 8.4)

• Berkeley DB: btree prefix comparison for directory-like keys?

  I'm going to index a BDB with keys that look a lot like directory paths ('/foo/bar', '/foo/baz', etc, with levels of slashes generally < 10). Does anybody have any experience with using a Btree prefix comparison routine[1] for this? Are the savings worthwhile? Any references to experience papers on this subject?
