    What is the fastest sorting algorithm for a large number (tens of thousands) of groups of 9 positive double precision values, where each group must be sorted individually? So it's got to sort fast a small number of possibly repeated double precision values, many times in a row. The values are in the [0..1] interval. I don't care about space complexity or stability, just about speed.

    My sample file is like below: H343423 Something1 Something2 C343423 0 A23423432 asdfasdf sdfs #2342323 I have the following regex: if (line =~ /^[HC]\d+\s/) != nil puts line end Basically I want to read everything that starts with H or C and is followed by numbers and I want to stop reading when space is encountered (I want to read one word). Output I want is: H343423 C343423 Output my RegEx is getting is: H343423 Something1 Something2 C343423 0 So it is fetching the whole line but I just want it to stop after first word is read. Any help?

If i put this in the main() (on stack): char tab[127]; I have this error: Error [1300] stack frame too large If I put it in global, I have this error: Error - section '.udata_main.o' can not fit the section. Section '.udata_main.o' length=0x0000007f How to create a big buffer? Do you have tutorial on how to manage big buffer on pic18f with c18?

How would you store the million points and how would you retrieve those 10 points from that data structure.

    I was just wondering if it were at all possible for an Action Bar icon to only be shown when the device is in landscape mode? In portrait I have an onscreen button for a certain task, but in order to take advantage of all of the screen-space in landscape, that button won't fit. So I was wondering if I could put it in the Action Bar, but it would only be necessary when the device is in landscape. Thanks!

    For Android GUI: I would like to create a window that I can pull up from the bottom of another window, kind of like the Notification bar or the tab in the bottom on Spotify for Android. I want to be able to grab a small piece of the window and pull it up. Or just click it and it will "pop up". And afterwards be able to pull or click it so it returs to its original space. The left and right repeaters are background images (approxamately 350px wide) that I would like to show part of, or even repeat if the screen (visible area of screen shown in red) becomes wide enough.     I wondered how certain .NET hosting providers can safely grant full trust to their customers? Doesn't this open up everybody who is hosting with that company to potential safety issues? Or is there a way to safely restrict each customer, despite giving full trust, to "their" space without giving them the abiliy to bring down the system or spy on other customers?

    Hello, I need to print last 20 characters of string, but only whole words. Delimiter is a space "". Let's consider this example: string="The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" echo $string | tail -c20 returns s over the lazy dog. And I need it to return over the lazy dog instead. Do you know how to accomplish that? Thanks!
