I have two initial files in My Documents that it uses with no problems. But what is the correct destination on the device? Also, when I do an uninstall, do I leave the modified app data?

  • Open-source generic web service to database interface?

    I'm looking for a thin, generic layer (probably written in PHP) that sits between a database (probably MySQL) and web service clients (which could be anything). I imagine there would be config files of some sort that tell it how to map web service requests to database queries (or other DB commands). It would also need to handle authentication and authorization, of course. I've done some googling but failed to find anything that fits the bill. Can anyone suggest something like this?

    I'm trying to resolve this URL Route: Route articlesByCategory = new Route("articles/c{cid}-{category}", new Handler); However, it seems like the following url won't resolve to this route: // doesn't work www.site.com/articles/c24-this-is-the-category-title // This works www.site.com/articles/c24-category I assume it has to do with the dashes in the title, but can anyone tell me why this works this way? Is there a way to allow dashes in the title for a URL route like this?

    Hi, I have inherited a class, say CstateUI from Control class. I am creating an object of CstateUI and setting up the margin of the object. For values of margin I take mouse click points from e.getPosition(grid). The problem is the first object is correctly rendered but on subsequent objects margin is not getting set accurately.     Hi, java.util.zip has well-known problems with native memory usage, so i'm trying to use a drop-in replacement called "jazzlib". unfortunately as is typical for sourceforge projects there is no documentation. If I add the jar to my classpath then Java freaks out and gives me "prohibited package name" errors because it replaced java.util.zip. How do I tell Java that this is what I want it to do?

    I've got a web application that is 99% read-only, with a separate service that updates the database at specific intervals (like every 10 minutes). How can this service tell the application to invalidate it's second-level cache? Is it actually important? (I don't actually care if I have too much stale data) If I don't invalidate the cache how much time is needed to the records to get updated (if using SysCache)
