  • Getting control that fired postback in page_init

    I have a gridview that includes dynamically created dropdownlist. When changing the dropdown values and doing a mass update on the grid (btnUpdate.click), I have to create the controls in the page init so they will be available to the viewstate. However, I have several other buttons that also cause a postback and I don't want to create the controls in the page init, but rather later in the button click events. How can I tell which control fired the postback while in page_init? __EVENTTARGET = "" and request.params("btnUpdate") is nothing

    Are there any services similar to codepad that will allow you to test Perl constructs on old versions of perl? Ideally, a system where you could enter an expression and it will tell you the oldest version of perl that it will work with. Of course it's possible to use CPANTS for this, but that seems like an abuse of the service (if only for making the BackPan bigger). And it could take several days/weeks to get decent test coverage on old versions.

  • OPS4j repository alternative

    The OPS4J repository is down at present and I am trying to run pax-provision using a profile for spring-dm. My question is how do I tell maven to locate the profile information from a site other than ops4j.org. Is this possible? ideally I would like to cache all the packages from the repo especially the spring-dm details which seem never to be cached and are downloaded all the time making coding on the train and times when the site is down impossible.     I have a website that is using the viewport META tag to tell mobile browsers how to display content ( ). Viewing the page in the Android browser looks correct (and iPhone, etc). When I load the page into a WebView component in an android Application, the WebView ignores the "VIEWPORT" tag, and renders the page at "full" resolution, which is zoomed-in in this case.

    I am using Datanucleus JDO on top of HSqlDb. I would like to execute the following SQL statement to tell HsqlDb to set the write delay to 0: "SET WRITE_DELAY 0" Is there a way I can do this from a JDO PersistenceManager or a PersistenceManagerFactory? On a sidenote: I have tried to modify write_delay by using the following connection URL: jdbc:hsqldb:file:data/hsqldb/dbbench;write_delay=false It didn't work. I debugged the HsqlDb sources and I could still see the write delay being set to 10 seconds.

    Hi, I am trying to show/load different editor on different rows of a editorgridpanel. Like a textbox on one row combobox/superboxselect on another and it could be any order, random.     Is there a way to write the PHP file_exists function so that it searches a directory for a file with an arbitrary extension. For instance, suppose I knew that a file were called "hello", but I didn't know the extension, how would I write a function that searched for a file called hello.* and returned the name of this file? As far as I can tell, file_exists will only search for a string. Thanks.
