• Alternative for ZAM 3D editor for Windows 7

  I'm looking for some 3D editor that allows to create 3D objects and export them to XAML format. Because I'm under Windows Seven ZAM 3D editor is no option for me. I need to create relatively simple(but good looking) 3D objects, no game animations. I prefer simple and intuitive GUI, so Blender is no option for me... It would be good if the program had free trial. Any ides what might help me ? Thank you

• Returning objects from another thread?

What am I supposed to do? Or maybe I could replace dequeue with two functions, Peek and Pop, where Peek doesn't really need to be on the UI thread because it doesn't modify anything, right? As a side question, these methods don't need to be "locked" either, do they? If they're all forced to run in the UI thread, then there shouldn't be any concurrency issues, right?

RenderOptions.BitmapScalingMode="NearestNeighbor" On all levels, grid, chrome .. and tried various combinations of SnapsToDevicePixels but images just wont show up correctly. I set Stretch=None, image is aligned at center, still why it stretches automatically? here is the output and its very frustrating. Actual size of the image is 16x16 but I some how figured out by using Windows Maginifier that no matter what I do, the image is actually trying to render as 20x20, for the bigger images its even cropping the right most and bottom part. I think image should be rendered correctly 16x16 when Stretch=None, can anyone clarify whats problem here?

  I have two data-bound text boxes. One is bound to a string and the other to a number. The 'default' binding is set in XAML. Under some circumstances I need to reverse the bindings at runtime (the string is usually a prefix but sometimes it's a suffix). I have the following code in my view model, called when the window is loaded: Binding stringBinding = BindingOperations.GetBinding(view.seqLeft, TextBox.TextProperty); Binding numberBinding = BindingOperations.GetBinding(view.seqRight, TextBox.TextProperty); view.seqLeft.SetBinding(TextBlock.TextProperty, numberBinding); view.seqRight.SetBinding(TextBlock.TextProperty, stringBinding); After that the code loads the properties to which the binding refers. The problem is that the 'new' binding doesn't seem to work. What have I missed? Is there a better way?

  Hi, I would like to hear your thoughts and ideas about this one. in my application i have controls that are binded to objects properties. but.. the controls always looks like that: a check box, label that explain the settings and then the edited control (for ex: text box) when unchecking the checkbox i disable the text box (using binding) when the checkbox is unchecked i want the property to contain null, and when it is checked i would like the property to contain the text box's text. Of course text box can be NumericUpDown, ComboBox, DatePicker etc..   I am creating a kiosk application and I want to ensure it is always, no matter what, on top of other Windows applications and the Windows task bar. I am already blocking Windows keyboard commands (alt-tab, etc) but there are still situations that could cause an application to launch and steal the screen. Is it possible to hook into Windows from .NET and continually test whether the application has focus and is on top, and if not then give it focus and make it on top?

• Why is generated XAML spitting out namespaces that are not asked for?

  I have a very simple XAML form, that has one namespace definition. For some reason, when Visual Studio processes that XAML file in to it's component .g.cs, it's sticking a bunch of namespace definitions at the top that I have not asked for in the XAML, or the code behind, and they are namespaces that no longer exist in my project. Thus the project is failing to compile. Why is Visual Studio sticking arbitrary namespace 'using' statements in my generated XAML .g.cs files? It's caused my entire project to break. Not one time did this .xaml file ever reference the namespaces in question, so it's doubly annoying.

I have multiple methods because they do different things (are named appropriately). e.g. the first handler has nothing in common with the second. • Make a Button Appear Focused When Not

  The Find and Replace dialog in Visual Studio is a perfect example of what im trying to accomplish. Notice how the "Find what" text field has keyboard focus but the "Find Next" button appears bluish as if it has keyboard focus also even though it does not. How can I accomplish this myself? I've tried messing with FocusManager and Focus Scopes without much luck. I suspect i may be barking up the wrong tree? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks
