  Using Microchip C18 compiler with a pic18f, I want to create a "big" buffer of 3000 bytes in the program data space. If i put this in the main() (on stack): char tab[127]; I have this error: Error [1300] stack frame too large If I put it in global, I have this error: Error - section '.udata_main.o' can not fit the section. Section '.udata_main.o' length=0x0000007f How to create a big buffer? Do you have tutorial on how to manage big buffer on pic18f with c18?

  Hi, Supposing I have this: "foo bar 1 and foo bar 2" How can I split it into: foo bar 1 foo bar 2 ? I tried strtok() and strsep() but neither worked. They don't recognize "and" as delimiter, they recognize "a", "n" and "d" as delimiters. Any function to help me with this or I'll have to split by the blank space and do some string manipulation?

How would you store the million points and how would you retrieve those 10 points from that data structure.

  For Android GUI: I would like to create a window that I can pull up from the bottom of another window, kind of like the Notification bar or the tab in the bottom on Spotify for Android. I want to be able to grab a small piece of the window and pull it up. Or just click it and it will "pop up". And afterwards be able to pull or click it so it returs to its original space.   I was just wondering if it were at all possible for an Action Bar icon to only be shown when the device is in landscape mode? In portrait I have an onscreen button for a certain task, but in order to take advantage of all of the screen-space in landscape, that button won't fit. So I was wondering if I could put it in the Action Bar, but it would only be necessary when the device is in landscape. Thanks!

  I'm using a WrapPanel to display variable height items in columns. The wrappanel has a constrained size. Is there an way to determine when the WrapPanel is 'full'? I will then page to another panel with an animation. I've looked at the ArrangeOverride of the items that are the panels children, but they always seem to be getting all the space they want. I need a way to determine when they begin getting clipped.

  How can I create a virtual HID device in code? I'm trying to avoid writing a kernel extension to accomplish this, but it seems to be the only way. I need to be able to create virtual HID devices of all types, and have an app running in the background feed them events. Is there a way to do this in user-space, or must I venture into kernel land?
