  • Exclude filetypes in a Textmate project

    I know in TextMate I can go to preferences - advanced - folder references and play with the regex pattern to remove certain types of files and folders by default. I heard that if you have an existing project, however, and chance these, the project is not affected. From a similar but different angle, I am interested to know if I can exclude certain types of files, say anything named "index.html" from an existing project while not changing the global scope. Thanks!

But it's not working for \\$. Please explain why ?

    In the default email client in Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, how can arbitrary files(.zip, .mp3, .txt, .pdf etc) be attached. As the storage is sand-boxed, the file handler can implement hooks to the email client, as MS-Office does and Adobe Reader doesn't, but the email client can not access files in the Phone's storage. Is there a way, or a work around? I my usage pattern, I tend to send a lot of pdfs, and am unable to do that!

I want to concatenate all files of the same group into a single one. For example: cat bond_7.LEU.CA.*.dat > ../bondvalues/bond_7.LEU.CA.1_3.dat There's large number of these files. How can achieve this with a bash script?

    I am running Plesk 9.5 on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and have about 15 websites infected with some malicious code appended to the end of java files. I have installed Clamav and it has managed to pickup the infected files which have a pattern of starting with either /*km0ae9gr6m*/ or /*gootkitstart*/ and ending with /*qhk6sa6g1c*/ or /*gootkitend*/ My Plesk panel is up to date and security patches were installed. How can I isolate the security vulnerability on the server?

  • Exporting members of all DLs in an OU

    I'm trying to export all the members of all the DLs within an OU (either to a single file that's categorized or individual files). I tried to use: csvde -f "C:\Documents and Settings\root\Desktop\AD Export\DL Export\DL.txt" -r "OU=DLs,OU=Personnel,DC=csi,DC=org" -l "cn,mail" but that only works for individual DLs and there are a lot to input each time. Any help on getting this done in the most efficient pattern would be helpful.

Basically I don't want requests with the url: http://another.host:8081/~username to be forwarded to the other server. Can this be done?

    I've been happily using grep for many years without any issues, but since today it quit working. During the past hour I tried this and that, but enough is enough, I'm posting the bastard here: On the simplest command like grep 'aaa' file.txt I'm getting this: grep: aaa: No such file or directory So grep does not interpret the first argument as the pattern as it should, but treats it as a path. Please help me, I'm going crazy '-(

  • Annoying behavior from BitTorrent

    I'm trying to download a file via bittorent and experiencing a very annoying issue. Everytime I start downloading, the download rate varies between 40-50KB and stays at that for roughly a minute, before it starts to go down until it eventually gets as low as 2-3KB. If I exit and restart Bittorent it starts from 40-50KB again. What on earth is the reason for this? It seems like a pattern rather than the random fluctuation of seeds/peers leaving.

    I am writing a VIM function which should search for the text found in register a. In VIM I would start a search with / then press Ctrlr and finish off with a then Return. However this line in the function is not working: execute "/<c-r>a<Return>" It is throwing this error: E486: Pattern not found: <c-r>a<Return> How do I enter the literal Ctrlr into the function?     Are there any ways to mock a WCF client proxy using Rhino mocks framework so I have access to the Channel property? I am trying to unit test Proxy.Close() method but as the proxy is constructed using the abstract base class ClientBast which has the ICommunication interface, my unit test is failing as the internal infrastructure of the class is absent in the mock object. Any good ways with code samples would be greatly appreciated.
