  • Invoking cl.exe (MSVC compiler) in Cygwin shell

    I'm heavily using Cygwin (with Putty shell). But, it's quite tricky to invoke cl.exe (i.e., Visual C++ compiler toolchain) in the Cygwin bash shell. Running vcvars*.bat in the bash shell doesn't work obviously. I tried to migrate VC++'s environment variables to Cygwin, but it's not that easy. Is there anyone who ever tried to run VC++ compiler in Cygwin bash shell? Thanks, JJ

This is easy to write in c/c++/java but i'm new to ocaml so somehow hard to find out the solution due to type conflict it goes like.. let rec test l = match l with [] - 0 | x::xs - if x 0 then (1+test, 0) else (0, 1+test);; I kno this is not correct one and kinda awkward.. but any help will be appreciated

    Given a simple data set, I would like to be able to calculate a trending formula given it's a second order polynomial regression. In fact, it would be great if one could even forecast X periods during calculation (similar to what Excel does). I'm looking for a portable C/C++ package that's relatively easy to use, and allows it to spit out the "best-fit" (highest R^2 value) curve. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    I'm trying to add the Hyves API with DotNetOpenAuth. It requires me to add a method name and some other stuff when accessing RequestTokenEndpoint and AccessTokenEndpoint. (http://trac.hyves-api.nl/wiki/APIUserAuthorization) RequestTokenEndpoint is no problem with "PrepareRequestUserAuthorization(Uri, requestParameters, null)" However I can't find a way to do this with AccessTokenEndpoint. Is there an easy way or can I intercept "ProcessUserAuthorization()" in a way? I tried to manual build a request but no luck yet.

I assume the option is to, first, fetch the rss with curl functions, that allows proxy authenticating, but .... are there any class to do this in a easy way, or ... does magpie support using proxy, and how?     I know that Silverlight 4 has the support for COM interop via the AutomationFactory class. dynamic excel = AutomationFactory.CreateObject( "Excel.Application" ); excel.Visible = true; Easy. But this creates a separate process for the COM object. What I am missing here is if I am actually able to actually host the office document inside my silverlight application - in a ContentPresenter for example? Thanks in advance.

    I have a fairly simple requirement -I have a table with the following (relevant) structure. with cte as( select 1 id,'AA,AB,AC,AD' names union all select 2,'BA,BB' union all select 3,'CA,CB,CC,CD,CE' union all select 4,'DA,DB,DC' ) i would like to create a select statement which will split each "names" column into multiple rows. For example the first row should produce 1,'AA' 1,'AB' 1,'AC' 1,'AD' Can we do it using only SQL. This is failry easy to do in Oracle.
