  • Pretty photo ibox doesn't trigger after appending new element in HTML

    - by user1469133
    I'm trying to get prettyPhoto or some other jquery plugin to work after I append new element to the HTML page: to be specific I have this: $(document).ready(function() { $(window).scroll(function() { if($(window).scroll) { $('div#loadMoreComments').show(); $.ajax({ type : "POST", url : "getvariables.php", dataType: "json", data : { webid: $(".posts:last").attr('id') } }).done(function( msg ) { jQuery.each(msg , function(index, value){ $("#posts").append(value); }); // $("#posts").append(msg); $('div#loadmore').hide(); }); } }); }); Then I have something like this that has to trigger the popup <p><a href="#inline-1" rel="ibox">Trigger popup.</a></p> <div id="inline-1" style="display: none;"> Content to show up after the link is triggered </div> Will appreciate any help over this. Thanks.

  • Rails: Generic form actions, cancel link losing `:back` on validation failure

    - by Patrick Connor
    I am trying to create a generic set of Submit, Cancel, and Destroy actions for forms. At this point, it appears that everything is working, except that I lose :back functionality then a form reloads due to validation errors. Is there a way to catch the fact that validation has failed, and in that case, keep the request.env['HTTP_REFERER'] or :back value the same without having to edit every controller? = simple_form_for @announcement do |f| = f.error_notification = f.input :message = f.input :starts_at = f.input :ends_at #submit = f.button :submit = "or " = link_to("cancel", url_for(:back)) .right - if !f.object.new_record? - resource = (f.object.class.name).downcase = link_to "destroy", url_for(:action => 'destroy'), :confirm => "Are you sure that you want to delete this #{resource}?", :method => :delete .clear .non_input #post_back_msg #indicator.inline = image_tag "indicator.gif" .inline = "Please wait..." .non_input

  • Get CSS style from PHP

    - by rpSetzer
    I am parsing pages using Simple DOM parser. It is neat, but I would like to get the applied css style for each element. Not only the inline styles, but every style it applies to that element, being it inline, in-page or external. Is there a class that does that? If not, how would you do it? I do not really care about overriding styles, cascade, or browser specific styles. Having all the directly applied styles would suffice.

  • How do I bind a click to an anchor without a framework (javascript)

    - by Stomped
    I know this is easily done in jQuery or any other framework, but that's not really the point. How do I go about 'properly' binding a click event in pure javascript? I know how to do it inline (I know this is terrible) <a href="doc.html" onclick="myFunc(); return false">click here</a> and this causes my javascript to execute for a JS enabled browser, and the link to behave normally for those without javascript? Now, how do I do the same thing in a non-inline manner?

  • Progressively transparent image with CSS3?

    - by Teiviere
    I want images that gradually "gradient" to blend in with the background color (white/transparent) as it gets to the bottom. Is there a way I can apply a CSS3 gradient or some sort of gradual transparency using CSS3 to the bottom edges of the image so it looks like its fading into the background color? I know I can make images with some photoeditor to achieve that effect, but I am curious to know if CSS3 can accomplish it.

  • does overload operator-> a compile time action?

    - by Brent
    when I tried to compile the code: struct S { void func2() {} }; class O { public: inline S* operator->() const; private: S* ses; }; inline S* O::operator->() const { return ses; } int main() { O object; object->func(); return 0; } there is a compile error reported: D:\code>g++ operatorp.cpp -S -o operatorp.exe operatorp.cpp: In function `int main()': operatorp.cpp:27: error: 'struct S' has no member named 'func' it seems that invoke the overloaded function of "operator-" is done during compile time? I'd add "-S" option for compile only.

  • Does anyone know what is the 32 character string before the product image filename in Magento ?

    - by Daniel Higgins
    I ask this question, since I am trying to get the images I have just copied from Domain A to work in Domain B, (which is using the same database). http://DOMAIN_A/magento/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/b/0/b0041-1.jpg I think knowing what the 32 character string is, which help me find a good explanation why the images are not being found in the front or backend of Magento after reinstall on DOMAIN B. • Using mod_negotiation to serve webp if the UA requests it.

    - by Rich Bradshaw
    Is it possible to use mod_negotiation to serve up a webp image if the browser supports it, and a jpg otherwise? For instance, if I link to an image with the path /images/test, it serves the image found at /images/test.webp if the UA knows about webp, or jpg otherwise? I've tried poking around, but it seems that the Accept headers in Chrome at least look like Accept:*/*, rather than specifying the image type. If this isn't the way to do it, has anyone got any other suggestions?

  • scrollable banner using buttons and mouse scroller

    - by Psinyee
    I'm creating a scrollable banner for my homepage with 'up' and 'down' button for user to scroll the banner. How do I make it so that the mouse scroller is able to scroll the banner too and also once I click on the down or up button the user will be able to see the transition of the banner scrolling upwards or downwards? scroll script: <script> var t = 0; function up() { t += 600; with(document.getElementById("contents")) { if (t > 0) t = 0; if(style) style.top = t + "px"; else setAttribute("style", "top: " + t + "px"); } } function down() { t -= 600; with(document.getElementById("contents")) { if(t < -clientHeight) t = -clientHeight; if(style) style.top = t + "px"; else setAttribute("style", "top: " + t + "px"); } } </script> scrollable banner: <table width="950px" height="600px"> <tr> <td valign="top"> <div id="scrollable" style="height:600px; width:950px"> <div id="contents" style="height:600px; width:950px"> <table bgcolor="#dcdcdc" width="950px" height="600px"> <tr> <td height="490px"></td> </tr> <tr> <td height="100px"><img src="images/banner_title.png"/></td> </tr> </table> <table bgcolor="#ffd07e" width="950px" height="600px"> <tr> <td height="490px"></td> </tr> <tr> <td height="100px"><img src="images/banner_title.png"/></td> </tr> </table> buttons: <table> <tr> <td width="30px"><a href="javascript:void(0)" onClick="up()"><img src="images/arrow_up.png"/></a></td> <td width="30px"><a href="javascript:void(0)" onClick="down()"><img src="images/arrow_down.png"/></a></td> </tr> </table>

  • PHP Array Not Working in Function

    - by lemonpole
    Hello all. I'm currently experimenting with arrays in PHP, and I created a fake environment where a team's information will be displayed. $t1 = array ( "basicInfo" => array ( "The Sineps", "December 25, 2010", "lemonpole" ), "overallRecord" => array (0, 0, 0, 0), "overallSeasons" => array ( 1 => array (14, 0, 0), 2 => array (9, 5, 2), 3 => array (12, 4, 0), 4 => array (3, 11, 2) ), "games" => array ( "<img src=\"images/cs.gif\" alt=\"Counter-Strike\" />", "<img src=\"images/cs.gif\" alt=\"Counter-Strike\" />", "<img src=\"images/cs.gif\" alt=\"Counter-Strike\" />", "<img src=\"images/cs.gif\" alt=\"Counter-Strike\" />" ), "seasonHistory" => array ( "Season I", "Season II", "Season III", "Season IV" ), "divisions" => array ( "Open", "Main", "Main", "Invite" ) ); // Displays the seasons the team has been in along // with the record of each season. function seasonHistory() { // Make array variable local-scope. global $t1; // Count the number of seasons. $numrows = count($t1["seasonHistory"]); // Loop through all the variables until // it reaches the last entry made and display // each item seperately. for($v = 0; $v <= $numrows; $v++) { // Echo each season. echo "<tr><td>{$t1["games"][$v]}</td>"; echo "<td>{$t1["seasonHistory"][$v]}</td>"; echo "<td>{$t1["divisions"][$v]}</td></tr>"; } } I have tested several possible problems out and after narrowing them down I have come down to one conclusion and that is my function is not connecting to the array for some reason. I don't know what else to do because I thought making the array global would fix that problem. What works: I can echo $t1["games"][0] on the page I need it to display and it gives me the content. I tried echo $t1["games"][0] INSIDE the function and then calling the function and it doesn't display anything.

  • encode video is reverse?

    - by bob
    Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to encode a video using ffmpeg in reverse? (So the resulting video plays in reverse?) I think I can by generating images for each frame (so a folder of images labelled 1.jpg, 2.jpg etc), then write a script to change the image names, and then re-encode the ivdeo from these files. Does anyone know of a quicker way? This is an FLV video. Thank you
