  • CorePlot linker errors after upgrading iOS SDK

    This seems like it's happened before but somehow ended up working itself out. It's happened again and I can't seem to get this fixed. I use the CorePlot Cocoa Touch framework. Everything was fine until I upgraded to the new 4.3 beta. Now my project won't compile, and is giving me linker errors for unknown symbols having to do with CorePlot. I've become a pro at adding the framework to my project, and I've checked and rechecked the instructions trying to do it again. Is there a button I can click or anything to just make this work again? I've used these instructions to try to re-add the framework, to no avail EDIT: By the way, this compiles just fine for simulator and runs graphs no problem.   • XCode Developer Documentation crashes after clicking any link on the startup screen

    I just installed XCode 3.2.1. When I open the Developer Documentation and click any link on the startup screen, XCode crashes. Has anyone run into this problem? Also hints as to how to debug would be excellent -- I've only been using XCode for a week. I can still get into the documentation if I open some code and then right-click a symbol and choose "Find in Documentation." But its annoying that I can't just open the docs and browse them.

  • MPMoviePlayerController problem at start

    Hello guys! I have a problem with MPMoviePlayerController, because when I start it in fullscreen it exists, but the song is still playing. I added the MPMoviePlayerDidExitFullscreenNotification notification and it says that when the video starts playin it exists the full screen.   • Dynamically loading hi-res images into UIScrollView

    I've been looking into creating a gallery mode in my application. The functionality will be identical to the built in Photos App. Here's the flow: 1. You touch on a thumbnail and ... 2. a modal view displays a large detail version of the image 3. You have the ability to scroll horizontally through all the images in the gallery while in this modal view I'm stuck on step 3. How do I dynamically load hi res images into a scroll view? I understand I need to set the contentSize for the the scrollView but how do I do that when I've only selected and loaded one image? What delegate methods do I need to implement and what does the heavy lifting look like? Thanks in advance!

A serial number may be granted per-machine (or per-operating-system) or per-user (as for CAL in Windows Server: if my application is used by several users on one machine or if it is used by one user on several machines). For per-operating-system licensing, I use SerialNumber of Win32_OperatingSystem. For per-user licensing, I use: WindowsIdentity currentIdentity = WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent(); if (currentIdentity != null) { SecurityIdentifier userSid = currentIdentity.User.AccountDomainSid; Console.WriteLine(userSid); } A hash of an obtained OS serial number or SID is then stored in the database, associated with application serial; each time the program starts, it queries the server, sending hash of OS SN/SID and application serial. Is it a right thing to do it or is it completely wrong? Will it work on every Windows machine? (For example, using motherboard serial is wrong)

  • UIViewTableCell didSelectRowAtIndexPath is calling but not pushing a view controller

    Hi guys, so im having a UIViewController view with a UITableView. So the UIViewController class name is SelectionScreen. The UITableView class name is SelectionScreenTable. Picture: http://img717.imageshack.us/i/screenshot20100609atpm0.png/ I have declared a UITableView *selectionTable in SelectionScreen class and connected it to the xib file of the SelectionScreen what the problem is , is that when i click a row in the table,it stays selected as highlighted blue, it calls the didSelectRowAtIndexPath (checked with NSLog) but not pushing a new view which is called(GraphView). This is the code which i use to call the new controller WHICH WORKS with a normal button GraphView *aSelectionScreenViewController = [[GraphView alloc] initWithNibName:@"GraphView" bundle:nil]; [self presentModalViewController:aSelectionScreenViewController animated: YES]; [aSelectionScreenViewController release]; I searched around and found that I need to set a delegate for the table in the UITableView class itself on the viewload tableview.delegate = self; or self.tableview.delegate = self; But it was not working. the controller was still not being pushed, and yes i have checked the controller is not nil as i tried it with a simple button. So i was thinking whether i should set the delegate of the UITableView at the UIViewController instead, so i tried this code selectionTable.delegate = selectionTable.self; but obviously it did not work =\, it messed up the whole UITableView and caused all the cells to be its predefined settings. So does anybody have any idea on how i can get it to work.

    I'm developing an application using Java, Tomcat, Spring Framework and Spring LDAP 1.2.1 for LDAP access. According to our LDAP administrator, it is not possible to find out programmatically, if a specific user is locked out in the directory - the user is just not returned. This makes life difficult for me, as I need to identify locked out users. Is our administrator right, or is it possible somehow to find out, if a particular user is locked out? If yes, how?

  • Why won't my CATiledLayer scroll in a UIScrollView after zooming?

    I'm currently having the following problem with CATiledLayer: when the view first loads, the scrolling works perfectly, but then when you zoom once, the view snaps to the anchor point (top left corner) and it can no longer scroll at all. The zooming works in that it will zoom in and out, but it will only zoom to the top left corner. I'm having trouble creating a tableview that leaves room at the top for a toolbar. How to I size and layout the Tableview so that it is less than full screen? Is this an AutoResizing mask problem?   • UITableView in popover doesn't stop scrolling

    I have a UITableView being shown in a popover. One cell in my table view has a UITextField in it. When the text field is being edited (the keyboard is visible) and I rotate the device from portrait to landscape and then try to scroll the table view, it keeps going past its bounds, instead of stopping and "bouncing". Does anyone know how to fix this?

    So we know the CoreGraphics/Quartz imaging model is based on pre-multiplied alpha. We also know that OpenGL blending is based on un-premultiplied alpha. What is the best practice to avoid head explosion when doing blending with textures that are derived from pre-multiplied alpha imagery (PNG files generated in Photoshop with pre-multiplied alpha). Given the apples/oranges mish mash of Quartz and OpenGL, what is the correct glBlendFunc for doing the fundamental Porter/Duff "over" operation? Typical example: A simple paint program. Brush shapes are texture-map patterns created from pre-multiplied alpha rgba images. Paint color is specified via glColor4(...) with the alpha channel used to control paint transparency. GL_MODULATE is used so the brush texture multiplies the (translucent) paint color to blend the color into the canvas. Problem: The texture is premult. The color is not. What is the correct way to handle this fundamental inconsistency? Thanks, Doug
