    Can you tell me where to store application specific data on a Win Mobile phone. Let's say my app is named MyApp and I install it in the program files folder. I have two initial files in My Documents that it uses with no problems. But what is the correct destination on the device? Also, when I do an uninstall, do I leave the modified app data?

    In my application I have a bool property named DisplayIndicator. In the database (DB2) it's correspondence is DISPL_IND column of type smallint. The correspondence is the following: [DisplayINdicator=True, DISPL_IND=1] and [DisplayINdicator=False, DISPL_IND=0] Is it possible to map using nhibernate fluence the bool property to smallint?

  • PIL's Image.show() brings up *two* different viewers

    When toying with images in the python shell, I use image.show(), where image is an instance of Image. Long ago nothing happened, but after defining a symlink to mirage named "xv", I was happy. The last few days, show() will bring up both ImageMagick's display and also Mirage. It's not clear where show() gets information on what to run. Documentation wasn't helpful. How to make it behave and bring up only what it thinks is xv?

In __init__.py if I import messages_en it works, but __import__ fails with "ImportError: No module named messages_en" import messages_en # it works messages = __import__('messages_en') # it doesn't ? I used to think 'import x' is just another way of saying __import__('x')

I have been able to bundle elementtree but now i am getting the error: "No module named expat; use SimpleXMLTreeBuilder instead" Unfortunately i cannot upgrade python so im stuck with what i got. How do i use SimpleXMLTreeBuilder as the parser and/or will i need to rewrite code?

A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share. When I copied the file manual everything worked normally. Is it correct the order File.Copy leaves the file engaged?

    I'm querying a bunch of information from cisco switches using SNMP. For instance, I'm pulling information on neighbors detected using CDP by doing an snmpwalk on .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23 Can I use this OID across different cisco models? What pitfalls should I be aware of? To me, I'm a little uneasy about using numeric OIDs - it seems like I should be using a MIB database or something and using the named OIDs, in order to gain cross-device compatibility, but perhaps I'm just imagining the need for that.

So, if I have a command named: spec I want to know where I configure my bash to always use: spec -c --format nested instead of just 'spec' I tried to put this like an alias on my .bashrc file, like: alias spec='spec -c --format pretty' but didn't work. I have a class called Project, a project can have multiple forecasts.Now If I want to check if the projects has any forecasts or not should I use a readonly boolean property called HasForecast() or should I use a method named HasForecast() which basically returns a boolean value.From framework design guidelines I came to know that methods should be used when the operation is complex,since here I'm retrieving the value of forecasts from DB should I consider method, or since it is a logical data member should I use a property.If I use a property can I call a method in DBLayer from its getter.Please explain Regards, Ravi

  • [Symfony 1.2: ckWebServicePlugin 3.0.0] Module name in SOAP requests, how to get rid of them?

    When I generate a WSDL file with ./symfony webservice:generate-wsdl (where is 'frontend', is 'soap' and is 'http://localhost ') I get a nice soap.wsdl file which works like it should. Except, the methods are not named 'justAMethod' but 'soapService_justAMethod' (where soapService is the module which holds the SOAP methods). How do I omit the module name in the SOAP method names? I know this is possible since the previous release of the software had no module name in the SOAP method names.

The command below works except it prints an annoying ".git" any time it skips a .git directory: find . ( -name .git ) -prune -o -name '*foo*' How can I prevent the skipped ".git" directories from printing to stdout?

When I want to create a new user, it requires me a (wrong-named, confusing field) login (= username), email address and password. However, I want, like Facebook does, only require the user to enter an email address and password, not a username. People will also login with this email address. Can anyone help me?

Giving as input a list of song ("Songname"#"UserID"#"boolean") i must have as result a song list in which is specified how many time different useres listen them... so a output ("Songname","timelistening"). I used hashtable to allow only one couple . With short files it works well but when I put as input a list about 1000000 of records it returns me the same value (20) for all records.
