  • design a large scale network for an organization

    hello.i am so new to networking i want to design a large scale network for an organization with HQ and two branches. i want to use class A address for that.my questions are: if i am using the network address 30.0.0.0 for the whole organization how can it be different from another organization company or whatever which is using the same address in another country? now i have the three locations for this organization,so i need 5 subnets [one for the HQ,two for branch A and branch B , one for connecting A to HQ and one for connecting branch B with HQ since i will use central DHCP server at the HQ,is that(number of subnetting) right? is it advisable to use class A or class B for this organization it term of address that will be wasted (lets say it is a university with two branches in two different states)?! that is all your help is highly appropriated.

    I am a bit stuck here and can't think further. public struct CandidateDetail { public int CellX { get; set; } public int CellY { get; set; } public int CellId { get; set; } } var dic = new Dictionary<int, List<CandidateDetail>>(); How can I compare each CandidateDetail item against other CandidateDetail items within the same dictionary in the most efficient way? Example: There are three keys for the dictionary: 5, 6 and 1. Therefore we have three entries. now each of these key entries would have a List associated with. In this case let say each of these three numbers has exactly two CandidateDetails items within the list associated to each key. This means in other words we have two 5, two 6 and two 1 in different or in the same cells. I would like to know: if[5].1stItem.CellId == [6].1stItem.CellId = we got a hit. That means we have a 5 and a 6 within the same Cell if[5].2ndItem.CellId == [6].2ndItem.CellId = perfect. We found out that the other 5 and 6 are together within a different cell. if[1].1stItem.CellId == ... Now I need to check the 1 also against the other 5 and 6 to see if the one exists within the previous same two cells or not. Could a Linq expression help perhaps? I am quite stuck here...   • Add remove class?

    Okay I have two classes for two links and two divs with different information. What I am trying to do is have it so when you click on one link it adds a 2 to both of the classes and makes the second div visable. When you click on the other link it takes off a 2 and makes the first div visable. Here is what I currently got $("#posts").click(function () { $("#sideboxtopleft").toggleClass("2"); $("#arrow").toggleClass("2"); }); Pretty much posts is the link, when when you click on it. It would make sideboxtopleft and arrow, sideboxtopleft2 and arrow2 and when you clicked on comments it would take off the 2 of both of those. Then there are two divs, one is set to hidden and I want to make it visable and set the other to hidden. Pretty much creating a tab system with changing tab classes.

    So you have two taxonomies, namely: "Business Type" and "Location" This is assigned to a node called BUSINESS. In effect, when the user creates a BUSINESS node, her has to choose for example, location "New York" and type "Information Services". My problem is when: a) Capturing the taxonomy, and b) Displaying the taxonomy I want the two terms to be separated from each other. I.e. I want to be able to move the two terms individual positions in the MANAGE FIELDS view, so that they can be grouped or placed seperately. Currently, Drupal only allows one entry, called "TAXONOMY" which is effectively the two terms next to each other. I have a couple of ideas e.g. remembering the key and event generation time so that we could in a consecutive event handler invocation check the time difference between these two events and decide, whether it's a two-button event or not.     Hi, In one of mine applications I am dealing with graphics objects. I am using open source GPC library to clip/merge two shapes. To improve accuracy I am sampling (adding multiple points between two edges) existing shapes. But before displaying back the merged shape I need to remove all the points between two edges. But I am not able to find an efficient algorithm that will remove all points between two edges which has same slope with minimum CPU utilization. Currently all points are of type PointF Any pointer on this will be a great help.

As long as I'm developing these two projects in visual studio and referencing service to client (Web Application) as server reference there is no problem. The question is: is there any feature in Visual Studio 2008 to automatically change the URLs or I have to define two different endpoints and I set them within my code (based on a parameter in my configuration for example Development/Published).

  • Fluid Columns with matching height and background image

    I'm working on a new layout for my site that uses a header, footer and two column center region. The two columns consist of the main content area which is fluid height and width and a right sidebar which is fluid height and fixed width. I have done similar layouts before, but this one depends on using two different background images (one for the sidebar and one for the content area). Is there any way to implement this, using proper HTML & CSS, so that the background images of the two columns are always the same height, regardless of which columns content is longer? I've tried using JavaScript to simulate this, but it doesn't work so well if there are images in the content area. I would really prefer not to use this method any way. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have setup a staging environment at http://staging.jamesarmes.net/jimmyssandbox to provide an example. This environment is not my finished product, but I want to get the containers under control before I move any further

I have a sub-directory (package) in my project and inside the package I import a module from the top level, ie. __init__.py myapp.py one.py subdir\ __init__.py two.py Inside two.py I have import one and this works fine at runtime, because the top-level directory (from which myapp.py is run) is in the Python path. However, when I run PyLint on two.py it gives me an error: F0401: Unable to import 'one' How do I fix this?

  • Evenly distribute items on the screen

    I am trying to solve this little puzzle (the algorithm): I have N image icons and I want to distribute them evenly on users screen. Say, I put them in a table. If there is one image, there will be one cell in a table. If two - one row with two columns, if three - one row and three columns, if four - two rows, two columns... and so on until row space is gone and since then the table should only grow in columns without adding extra rows. I'm trying to figure an algorithm for this and perhaps this is something that has a solution already somewhere? My attempt is so far something like this: obtain_max_rows() obtain_visible_columns() if (number_of_pictures > max_rows*max_columns) { columns = roundup(number_of_pictures/max_rows) for(max_rows){generate row;for columns{generate column}} } else { **here comes to trouble...** } This logic is bit silly though - it somehow needs to think cases where there are 12 pictures on first screen and 2 on the other trying to balance it say 8/6 or somehow like that.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
