  I'm still very new to Silverlight. I'm currently using vs2008 at work. As far as I can gather Silverlight 4 is vs2010 only. I stumbled across this article on command binding, it says that command binding is a new feature introduced in silverlight 4. Is command binding integral to MVVM in silverlight, does it make MVVM much simpler to implement? Thanks for any help.

  By default, when you apply changes to a Bugzilla entry, the web interface advances to the next bug in your list. I would like to disable this feature since it is almost never what I desire, planning to make further updates later. Further, I often update the wrong bug subsequently due to its changing the current bug without my noticing. How do I configure Bugzilla to not advance like this?

  I'm running into a strange problem. I have a vector of lists and I use unlist on them. Some of the elements in the vectors are NULL and unlist seems to be dropping them. How can I prevent this?   Hi Folks, When you click the "Click an element on the page to inspect" arrow with FireBug, it puts a Blue Border around the target element, and also returns the DOM Id. I am building an application and that feature would be awesome to add. Be able to hover over elements and highlight the target, upon clicking return the DOM Id or CSS selector to the application. Is there a jquery plugin that does this magic? Some other smart way? Thanks!, Jonathan

  In the case of MSFT SQL Server 08, it is: odbcCommand = new OdbcCommand("{call " + SP_NAME + " (?,?,?,?,?,?,?) }", odbcConn); When I try to do the same thing for Oracle, I get: OdbcException: ERROR [HYC00] [Oracle][ODBC]Optional feature not implemented. Feel free to ask for clarification, and please help. I am using .Net 3.5, SQL Server 08, and Oracle 11g_home1. P.S. The Oracle stored procedure does have some 3 more parameters, but I believe I am handling this in my code.

• Autohide scrollbars when not scrolling in a ListView

  In the new official Twitter app, the scrollbars in all the ListViews the app uses are hidden unless the user is scrolling through the list. When you start scrolling, the scrollbars appear. When you stop, they fade out with an animation until they are gone completely. I can't seem to find anything in the documentation that indicates this as being a standard feature. Is this something included in the API? If not, anyone know how this might be done?

• Where is the VB.Net debugger "Make Object ID" function?

  When using the visual studio 2008 debugger with c# i can right-click on a variable and choose "Make Object ID" which allows me to watch that object (via it's ID) regardless of whether it is in the current stack frame or not. When the debugger is in VB code, (doesnt matter if it's run from a c# unit test or a vb unit test) That option isn't there. Where did VB put this feature? Or does it simply not support it like so many other helpful c# features?
