    I have a forum whereby links to a thread looks like http://www.website.com/comments.php?topic_id=1 How can I make it look like this http://www.website.com/1046302/some-link-desc#12154109 so that when such links are given out, the user is taken directly to that particular comment. I'm particular about the #12154109 . The other part of the URL /1046302/some-link-desc is achieved through .htaccess configuration.

    Google have just thrown up thousands of errors for duplicate content on my link tracker I am using. I want to make it so Google & any other search engines do not visit my pages on the link tracker. I want these pages to disallow these robots, my pages are: http://www.site.com/page1.html http://www.site.com/page2.html How would I write my robots.txt to make all robots not visit these links when they are in my page?

    I used it before, and was reminded of it when someone asked about a tool to strip unsused CSS from a stylsheet. I went back to the link, but it's gone, what happened to it?     I have a table generated from some PHP code that lists a SMALL amount of important information for employees. I want to make it so each row, or at least one element in each row can be clicked on so the user will be redirected to ALL of the information (pulled from MySQL database) related to the employee who was clicked on. I am not sure how would be the best way to go about this, but I am open to suggestions. I would like to stick to PHP and/or JavaScript.     Hi all, I have seen links that open modal windows AND have a nice animation effect that create the illusion that the window grows out of the link clicked. On closing the window a similar animation shows that the window shrinks and disappears in the link which originally opened it. I remember I saw it on some jquery page but don't remember where and don't know what this effect is called. Have you seen this? Examples?

    I don't know the best way to title this question but am trying to accomplish the following goal: When a client logs into their profile, they are presented with a link to download data from an existing database in CSV format. The process works, however, I would like for this data to be 'fresh' each time they click the link so my plan was - once a user has clicked the link and downloaded the CSV file, the database table would 'erase' all of its data and start fresh (be empty) until the next set of data populated it.     I am opening links on a page into an IFrame. But if the user right clicks and selects open in new window that will ruin the look I want since it will not have the parent page holding it. So is there a way to open the page as i have it working now when the user clicks on the link but if they choose to open in new tab to have it load the current page all over again in the new window with the link they selected loaded into the IFrame.
