    Hello, i am trying to solve this problem: i have a tab interface build with jquery.tools, more exactly i used the ajax tab to load external html files into div. you can see the example here: http://flowplayer.org/tools/demos/tabs/ajax.html i am trying to use jquery to animated the elements loaded by ajax, do you know if and how is it possible? i am trying both loading scripts outside, in the main page, or in the loaded page. thanks a lot

In any browser (firefox, opera, etc.), getURL("http://www.google.com"); works but in IE versions 7 and 8 it just hangs. Is there a library out there that is relatively mature and documented? I could run a external command from the JVM and then parse the standard output/error but that seems like a lot of work and not robust at all. Any suggestions?

    What techniques / methods exist for getting sub-millisecond precision timing data in C or C++, and what precision and accuracy do they provide? I'm looking for methods that don't require additional hardware. The application involves waiting for approximately 50 microseconds +/- 1 microsecond while some external hardware collects data. EDIT: OS is Wndows, probably with VS2010. If I can get drivers and SDK's for the hardware on Linux, I can go there. Thanks.

    We use Boost statically linked with our app but now I wan't to use Boost Test with an external test runner and that requires the tests themselves to link dynamically with Boost.Test through the use of the required BOOST_TEST_DYN_LINK define.
