  I have two targets for my app which both unarchive serialized objects, however the objects made by the two apps are not compatible. these objects seem to be saved to the same document directory so that one app will try to unarchive the other's objects. how do I get the apps to create separate sandboxes so they do not have access each others' saved objects? or do I need to just have each version create differently named files?

  I'm new with dealing with the .sqlite3 in iphone, I created a sqlite3 file in /Users/myLab/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/5.1/Applications/308C4355-D8EE-4524-A7F9-638DEB68B298/Documents/file.sqlite3 and I inserted the tables into it using Terminal.app and everything works ok with my app. but when I moved this application to another device, opened by xcode and trying to run it, I discovered that my tables are not found in this .sqlite3 file in another device. how can I save my tables in .sqlite3 file??

I'd like to know how well my app runs, like how much memory it uses. I just don't know where to find something like: "As close as we can tell from the simulator you'll app will currently be using xx MBs of RAM on a real iphone device."   Hello Guys, I want to make a slick java commandline app which doesnt include all the nasty "java -jar some.jar arguments" instead, I would have it work just like program -option argument like any other commandline app. I use ubuntu linux, and it would be fine if it included a bit of .sh script or anything. I know I can just create a file with java -jar program.jar and do chmod +x file, afterwards I could run i with ./file, but then how can I pass the arguments to the program ?

  I have a dll installed in GAC. I have not issues reading that assembly from asp.net applications the assembly reference i have done in web.config is able to refer to that assembly. But in the console application, when i put the below in the app.config file, the solution gets compiled, but i am not able to access the dll from program.cs file.   My iPhone app was rejected with the following note: "The following non-public APIs are included in your application: Spi Symbols __memset_chk __memmove_chk" These symbols appear in a small number of apparently cocos2d related object files: Grid.o Primitives.o TextureAtlas.o Curiously, this app had already been approved under the previous SDK, but under 3.2 it's being rejected, though that may have nothing to do with it. I'm not at all sure how to resolve this and appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks.

  Is there any method or plugin available that will alert the user to upgrade an app if the version they are using is not the latest? I suppose I could ping a web service to check what the current version is and compare with the user's version and go from there.
