One of the things the app is lacking is X axis labels (i.e. the frequency labels). My question is how can I determine what frequency each iteration (or y value) represents inside the for loop. For example, if I want to know what the magnitude is for 6kHz, I'm thinking of adding a line similar to the following: if (yValueRepresentskHz(y, 6)) NSLog(@"The magnitude for 6kHz is %f", (interpVal * 120)); Please note that although they chose to use the variable name y, from what I understand, it actually represents the x-axis in the visual graph of the spectrum analyzer, and the value of the drawBuffers[0][y] represents the y-axis.

For each of this project I have written a ant build file to generate the war file to deploy the project to the tomcat container. So I have to run for each project the ant build file (a lot of clicks, and a waste of time).     I would like to implement something similar to the Google quick scroll extension with jquery for the extracts of a search result, so when the full document is opened (within the same website) it gives the user the opportunity to go straight to the extract location. Notes: I can access the extracts from the document details page. I'm aware that the HTML in some cases could be slightly different in the extract than in the details page, finding no match. The search engine does not return where the extract was located. At the moment I'm trying to understand the JS code that the extension uses.

    I have some working code that uses IImgCtx to load images, but I can't work out how to get at the alpha channel. For images like .gif's and .png's there are transparent pixels, but using anything other than a 24-bit bitmap as a drawing surface doesn't work. So it works if I create a 24 bits/pixel bitmap but has no alpha to speak of, and it leaves the 32 bits/pixel bitmap blank. Now this interface apparently is used by Internet Explorer to load images, and obviously THAT supports transparency, so I believe that it's possible to get some level of alpha out of the interface. The question is how? (I also have fall back code that will call libpng/libjpeg/my .gif loader etc)

Unfortunately, Perl special cases exceptions during DESTROY both by adding "(in cleanup)" to the message and making them untrappable. The underlying issue is I have code like this: { $self->setup; $user_code->(); $self->cleanup; } That cleanup must happen even if the $user_code dies, else $self gets into a weird state. So I did this: { $self->setup; my $guard = Guard->new(sub { $self->cleanup }); $user_code->(); } The complexity comes because the cleanup runs arbitrary user code and it is a use case where that code will die. I expect that exception to be trappable and unaltered by the guard. I'm avoiding wrapping everything in eval blocks because of the way that alters the stack.

    I receive Date and time from CSV file The received Date format is YYYMMDD (string) (there is no ":" ,"-","/" to separate Year month and date). The received time format is HH:MM (24 Hour clock). I have to validate both so that (example) (i) 000011990 could be invalidated for date (ii) 77:90 could be invalidated for time. The question is , Regular expression is the right candidate for do so (or) is there any other way to achieve it?

WhatPulse only updates the image once every 24 hours, so I am going to make an application to keep track of that for me, only with realtime stats.     Simple question, I think. I have org.springframework.scheduling.quartz.CronTriggerBean triggering one job once a day. Because this method can last a long time (over 24 hours), will the next day at the same time a new job be executed if the last one is not ended yet? If yes - is it possible to turn off executing new jobs until the last one is finished? My method is trans-coding videos and some days there a lot of videos and could last long.
