I installed lampp / xampp on my Ubuntu 12.04. After installing, Apache and MySQL were running properly. Now, they're not. Here's what I get when I try to run apache: Command: /etc/init.d/apache2 start Result: * Starting web server apache2 /usr/sbin/apache2ctl: 87: ulimit: error setting limit (Operation not permitted) (13)Permission denied: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80 no listening sockets available, shutting down Unable to open logs Action 'start' failed. I have installed WordPress first installation on Apache server Its opening fine but when i logged in with my user id and password http://examplesite.com/wp-login.php It is showing blank in Firefox and in IE page not open with no errors. I have a windows web hosting package. I have 2 different domain names. Can i point my first domain to the the hosting package and then run BlogEngine.NET and then point the second domain to the hosting package running NopCommerce cart? www.domain1.co.uk (blog) www.domain2.co.uk (e-commerce cart) In IIS i would just create a new application within the site and create the bindings for domain2. But does this work for web hosting packages from 123-reg.co.uk

I followed the procedure mentioned at Installing Ubuntu on a Pre-Installed Windows 8 (64-bit) System (UEFI Supported) on toshiba satellite laptop. also tried the boot-repair and logs @ http://paste.ubuntu.com/6327398/ Its not booting to windows as well as ubuntu. It goes to grub command prompt. When on initial screen it briefly shows error message as failed to open /efi/Microsoft/boot/grubx64. Please advise. EDIT : Secure boot in on and boot mode is UEFI Boot

Custom Ubuntu 12.04 distro not booting

After following the instructions at: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCDCustomizationFromScratch; I installed xorg, gdm, and gnome. For some reason when I try to run it on both of my computers and qemu, it freezes up. Sadly I cant access a console to view all my logs, but I do have a dump of the boot process. Could someone be using the our website to access SMTP for spamming purpose? UPDATE: Server info: Centos OS with CPanel and WHM. However no one has access to either. Taking a look at the logs it looks like someone repetitively attempted to login with a known existent user/pass.
