  • Automatic clicking on Link build with Javascript by using watin

    I am trying to be able to automate the process of clicking on links built in javascript using watin. In the source code of web page, the links look like href="#", so i think these links works with Javascript. Runscript doesn't work with a Javascript code like "link.click". When i use a "link.flash()" i can see the link flash so i'm sure the script click on the links but there is not effect ( and the script doens't crash ) . Have you any ideas for resolve this problem ?

    I am trying to get a basic Rails application to run on my Mac OS X 10.6.5. I created a new app called demo (rails new demo), then went into the demo directory and tried to start the app with rails server. No definition for libversion Enclosing class/module 'mSqlite3' for class Statement not known " I had rails running well on my system a few months ago, so I figured maybe I had some duplicates and it was trying to use the wrong one. I ran: "for cmd in ruby irb gem rake; do which $cmd; done" and got: "/opt/local/bin/ruby /opt/local/bin/irb /opt/local/bin/gem /opt/local/bin/rake" Checking where sqlite3 also gets me: "/opt/local/bin/sqlite3" so they all seem to be in the right place. Obviously /opt/local/bin is in my system path. If I check gems server, it shows that I have installed sqlite3-ruby 1.3.2 gem. Not sure what the problem could be? I am using ruby 1.8.7 (2010-12-23 patchlevel 330) [i686-darwin10]. Macports claims this is the latest (although ive seen 1.9.1) One more thing-- in irb, I tried to check which version of sqlite3 my sqlite3-ruby is bound to, but I can only get this far: ":irb(main):001:0 require 'rubygems' = true irb(main):002:0 require 'sqlite3' /Users/dpetrovi/.gem/ruby/1.8/gems/sqlite3-ruby-1.3.2/lib/sqlite3/sqlite3_native.bundle: [BUG] Segmentation fault ruby 1.8.7 (2010-12-23 patchlevel 330) [i686-darwin10] Abort trap" Any suggestions?     hi everybody, yesterday, I posted a question about "Hom to change a DIV id with a php function" and someone found the right answer with a regular expression. The problem is that I wanted to use this answer to aplly the method on other same problems. But, as I'm very bad at regular expressions, I couldn't. More than once, the videos doesn't appear. Which is obvious because of the unique ID. As you can see, the content has these ids: div id="player959093-parent" div id="player959093" div id="player959093-config s1.write("player959093"); So my question is: Is there a function that can replace the string "player959093" or concatenate it with some other string to resolve the display problem?   • JQuery Menu plugins under ASP.NET MVC seem to only work in Chrome, but not in IE & FireFox

    Recently, I was trying to prototype some jQuery-based menu into ASP.NET MVC. Just to name two examples here: plugins.jquery.com/project/columnview www.filamentgroup.com/lab/jquery_ipod_style_and_flyout_menus/ Their demo page looks great, but when I integrate their sample code into MVC, the script no longer works in IE and FireFox, but it seems to work just fine under Google Chrome. Can someone kindly enough to point out what I missed? I will be honest here. I am still new to JavaScript, so it is still a learning phase to me, so any help is highly appreciated. I have placed a copy of my VS2010 solution zip file @ http://db.tt/0UNDkN Here is what I did. Ideally, it should work like the demo in www.christianyates.com/blog/jquery/finder-column-view-hierarchical-lists-jquery, but in reality, it only displays unordered list in plain view. (If you download the solution file and run it, you should be able to repro this as well). Next, tried with FireFox, not working either, same result as IE. Finally, when I try it under Google Chrome 4.1 (lastest version), and the script displays just fine. Really puzzling here :-/ Thank you for reading :D

Now I am thinking that if selecting the project to be a flex project instead of as3 project I would have a lot of flex functionality like a swf loader,preloaders and the popup manager etc. The graphic components would obviously have been made in flash and used through the swc (avoiding the heavy mxml components).   • How to make softkeyboard candidate view not block application view?

    Hi, I am playing with the Demo SoftKeyboard the comes with the Android SDK. In portrait mode when the candidate view is shown, it doesn't move the app up as the default android keyboard does. Hence it covers part of the application view. What should be changed in order to make the candidate view in the demo softkeyboard behave as the default android keyboard does? I've also looked at the source of the android keyboard from git but found nothing related to this behavior.
