    Hello... When I browse internet,basic HTML gets loaded on my computer. For eg.- for orkut or facebook login,only the text box appears,and when inputs are provided,and redirection is done,it says "error on page". Even on google search,basic HTML gets loaded on my computer.. I tried installing new Internet version i.e., IE8,but the same problem. Kildly provide a good solution to this problem.

  • Render ASP in pages with .html extension in Windows CE

    I want to be able to use the .html extension to render ASP pages. I am using Windows CE 6 at the moment with the default web server, ASP is turned on. I have attempted to add the "ScriptMap" (via) key to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\COMM\HTTPD\ScriptMap subkey with the value ".html"="\Windows\asp.dll" but this doesn't seem to work. What am I doing wrong?

    i have used the html editor to my page <%@ Register Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit.HTMLEditor" TagPrefix="cc1" % i have sent the values to the database as txtjobdesc.Content.Tostring(); but if i type just a paragraph in the editor it is displaying the same Description. But if i use any Bullets and Highlighted words it is displaying as words above the bulleted words.how to make it display as a html description pls help me out..

    Hi, I'm trying to figure out the right way to display comments such that newlines and links are displayed. I know that usually, you should display user-inputs only when escaping html with h(). That of course won't display newlines or links, so I found the simple_format and auto_link methods. What I am now doing is: simple_format(santize(auto_link(comment.text))) Is this the right way to do this, and is it still safe from XSS attacks? Thanks! Eric

    i have an ajax call $.ajax({ url: '<%=Url.Action("SaveDetails","Survey") %>', dataType: 'JSON', cache: false, data: { Id: selectedRow.Id, Value: surveyValue, FileName: filename, FileGuid: fileguid }, success: function(data) { ... } }); where the surveyValue is a html string. this call doesn't work. but is i change the surveyValue to an ordinary text i works fine. how can i pass the html to the server?

    actually i got to the cause of the issue. if you feed the textarea text attribute with an tag that has a valid src url, then for some reason flex will try to render everything as html. Eg, try this: <mx:TextArea id="textArea" width="100%" height="90%" text="<img src='http://url-to-a-valid-img"/> and instead of it rendering it as raw text it will render it as an html. any idea?

    Hi, Is there a way to return HTML from a method which gets called from the JMX HTTP page. I have a huge set of data and want to display the data with some formatting.     In order to have the fast speed of website, the web sever compress (gzip) the html files before sending to our clients. When running selenium tests, it shows a pop-up saying: You have chosen to open ... which is a: Bin file from: http://... Would you like to save this file? "Cancel" "Save File" It seems that the compressed html file doesn't unzip and browsers recognise it as Binary file.

    I've managed to write some jQuery to find an element and copy it's html to the clipboard (ie only). The problem is that when I paste this into a rich text box area in sharepoint it pastes the HTML as text only. How do i replicate the user action of highlighting a link on a page and pressing copy. When I do this manually and then paste the clipboard contents the rich text area realises that it is markup and replicates the link as an anchor in the text content.

I tried this: <% using (Html.BeginForm("Save", "Clients", new { id = "SubmitForm" })) {%> But it doesn't work, my form still doesn't have an id property: <form action="/TothSolutions/Secure/Clients/Save/SubmitForm" method="post"> I'm guessing this worked in ASP.NET MVC 1 but not 2. The reason I need the id property set is so that I can do jQuery validation on the form: $("#myForm").validate etc... Thanks, Justin
