  Hi, I am pretty new to bitwise operators. Let's say I have 3 variables a, b and c, with these values in binary: a = 0001 b = 0011 c = 1011 Now, I want to perform a bitwise AND like this: a AND b AND c -------- d = 0001 d &= a &= b &= c doesn't work (as I expected), but how can I do this? Thanks

  Possible Duplicate: The written versions of the logical operators. I notice that C++ define keyword and, or, not, xor, and_eq, or_eq, not_eq and xor_eq as an alternative to &&, ||, !, ^, &=, |=, != and |=. and they're rarely used! What's wrong? Are they not portable?

  I have a function that receives float** as an argument, and I tried to change it to take const float**. the compiler (g++) didn't like it and issued : invalid conversion from ‘float**’ to ‘const float**’ this makes no sense to me, I know (and verified) that I can pass char* to a function that takes const char*, so why not with const float** ?

  I have yet another pesky warning I would like gone. Basically, I have an int declared like this: @property (nonatomic, assign) int *myInt; and set like this: myInt = 0;. It is also synthesized in the implementation file. I am getting a warning on the line where I set the int's value and it says "Incompatible intiger to pointer conversion assigning to 'int *' from 'int'." What should I do to fix this?
