  • How to override ant task stored in ant lib directory

    At my work we use AspectJ in some of our Java projects. To get this to work with ant builds we have been placing aspectjtools.jar within ant/lib/. I am now working on a particular Java project and need to use a newer version of aspectJ. I don't want to have to get everyone who uses the project to update their local copy of aspectjtools.jar. Instead, I tried adding the newer aspectjtools.jar to the lib directory of the project and adding the following line to build.xml. <taskdef resource="org/aspectj/tools/ant/taskdefs/aspectjTaskdefs.properties" classpath="./lib/aspectjtools.jar" /> However, this doesn't work as I hoped as the ANT classloader loads jars from ant/lib/ in preference to the jar I specify in the taskdef classpath. Is there any way to force ant to pick the jar checked into my project instead?

    I created a DLL using Visual Studio 2005 VC++ and marked a function for export (for testing).   • JBoss 6 unpacks jars from WEB-INF/lib of war

    when I start JBoss 6 I see that it unpacks all jar files from WEB-INF/lib in tmp/vfs/automountXXX folder. E.g. jackrabbit-server.war contains library asm-3.1.jar, then in tmp folder I see the following folders with files: asm-3.1.jar-83dc35ead0d41d41/asm-3.1.jar asm-3.1.jar-2a48f1c13ec7f25d/contents/"unpacked asm-3.1.jar" it does not take files from my.ear/lib only WEB-INF/lib... Why is it so? And is here any way to prevent it doing so? It just slows down application server starting (and stopping), what is not that comfortable at development... If it is somehow related to JavaEE 6 specification and ejb-jars, which can be located now in WEB-INF/lib, so I don't have such libraries in my war files... UPDATE: actually when I repack jackrabbit-server.war to jackrabbit-server.ear which contains jackrabbit-server.war and moved all its libraries to jackrabbit-server.ear/lib then I still see two folders in tmp: asm-3.1.jar-215a36131ebb088e/asm-3.1.jar asm-3.1.jar-14695f157664f00/contents/ but in this case last folder is empty. So it still creates two folders, but does not unpack my library. Also I use exploded deployment so the question is only about jar files, not unpacking ear/war.

    I am trying to find a lib file that I created. I changed the configuration type to static lib. Then I rebuild the application. When I go to the debug folder in windows, I see the .lib file. but when I create a new application and try to add it to "additional Library Directories" I go to the exact folder and it does not show up.

  • How to link .lib library in linux

    I'm pretty new to c programming and want to port a windows c application to linux. My code uses a .lib file va_g729.lib - is it possible to use the same library in Linux and compile it with gcc? All my .c and .h files along with the one .lib files are in the same directory. What I'm doing now is executing this command in the directory: gcc *.c -lm and I get following errors: lbcodec2.c:(.text+0xa6b): undefined reference to `va_g729a_init_encoder' lbcodec2.c:(.text+0xa83): undefined reference to `va_g729a_encoder' collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status Is it possible to link the .lib file and compile with gcc? Thanks.

  • Getting PATH right for python after MacPorts install

    I can't import some python libraries (PIL, psycopg2) that I just installed with MacPorts. I looked through these forums, and tried to adjust my PATH variable in $HOME/.bash_profile in order to fix this but it did not work. I added the location of PIL and psycopg2 to PATH. I know that Terminal is a version of python in /usr/local/bin, rather than the one installed by MacPorts at /opt/local/bin. Do I need to use the MacPorts version of Python in order to ensure that PIL and psycopg2 are on sys.path when I use python in Terminal? Should I switch to the MacPorts version of Python, or will that cause more problems?   • Cannot install mercurial properly - PYTHONPATH error

    Hi, I have a server running on Ubuntu 10.04 on which I wanted to install Mercurial via % sudo apt-get install mercurial It seems to have installed successfully and doesn't show me any error messages. But when I try it I get: % hg abort: couldn't find mercurial libraries in [/usr/bin /usr/lib/python2.6 /usr/lib/python2.6/plat-linux2 /usr/lib/python2.6/lib-tk /usr/lib/python2.6/lib-old /usr/lib/python2.6/lib-dynload /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6 /usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages] (check your install and PYTHONPATH) I've googled for a while now and found some sites with the same problem but I still have no idea on how to fix it since it nowhere really says what I need to look for or what I need to add to my PYTHONPATH... By the way, right now my PYTHONPATH seems to be empty: % echo $PYTHONPATH % This is what I get if I look into my /usr/lib/ directory for mercurial: % find /usr/lib/py* -name 'mercurial*' /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/mercurial /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/mercurial-1.4.3.egg-info /usr/lib/pyshared/python2.6/mercurial Can anybody please help me with that? What (and how) should I set my PYTHONPATH to? I already tried reinstalling, installing with "easy_install mercurial" or with "aptitude reinstall mercurial" but nothing helped. I always get this same error. Would be great if anyone could help... thanks!   • phonegap.js crashes android app

    I'm having this weird problem, where including the phonegap.js file in my project causes the app to crash on both the android emulator and my phone. I got the latest file from GitHub, so I can't see why this isn't working. This happens even if I try to build the sample project that's included in the PhoneGap download...     To start a WLP server as a Windows service it is simplest to make your own script based on the provided standard script located at WL_HOME\server\bin\installSvc.cmd. The standard script works fine for a plain WLS domain, but lacks some classpath and options necessary for WLP.Start by making a copy of the installSvc.cmd script and naming it something specific to your domain.Next, just under SETLOCAL you will find where WL_HOME is defined. Here you will add the definitions you would normally add in a script that later calls installSvc.cmd (as per the standard documentation). set DOMAIN_NAME=gnma_test_domainset USERDOMAIN_HOME=D:\my_test_domainset SERVER_NAME=AdminServerset WLS_USER=weblogicset WLS_PW=gnmaAdmin01set PRODUCTION_MODE=trueset MEM_ARGS=-Xms512m –Xmx512mset MW_HOME=C:\Oracle\Middleware Note: I had heard of people using this approach who had issues with the length of the command line. This may be due to their use of the default domain path. The standard documentation along with the example above should allow you to expand this to include managed servers should you feel the need.

My question is how in the hell do I define a default value as per the documentation's description. Here's the code: <%@ attribute name="visible" required="false" type="java.lang.Boolean" %> <c:if test="${visible}"> My Tag Contents Here </c:if> Obviously, this tag won't compile because it's lacking the tag directive and the core library import. My point is that I want the "visible" property to default to TRUE. The "tag attribute is not required," so the "tag handler should provide a default value." I want to provide a default value, so what am I missing? Any help is greatly appreciated.
