  • In GWT 2.1.0.M2 the options "-style pretty" couldn't be recognized

    I am using GWT eclipse plugin and try to add option "-style pretty" inside arguments tab of debug configuration window in eclipse. But after click debug it just prompts "Unknown argument: -style". I used to use webcreator to create gwt app. this is my first time to use plugin and i am not sure i put it into the right place or gwt 2.1.0.M2 just doesn't support this option (which is wired). Please help me thanks in advance.

Being arr the array, I used just to write: puts arr Then I needed to use the DOS format end-of-line: \r\n, so I wrote: arr.each { |e| print "#{e}\r\n" } This works correctly, but I would like to know if there is a way to specify what end-of-line format to use so that I could write something like: $eol = "\r\n" puts arr UPDATE I know that puts will use the correct line-endings depending on the platform it is run on, but I need this because I will write the output to a file.

    I am trying to make a bar chart using tables, which I have almost accomplished to my liking. The last step I want is text over my image which represents the bar. Here is the code I have thus far for building my little bar charts: $height = 50; //build length $width = 450; $multi = $brewAvg / 5; $width = $width * $multi; print " <tr > <td > $count. <a href=\"$breweryURL\"> $brewR</a> </td> <td > <img src=\"blueBar.png\" width=\"$width\" height=\"$height\"> </td> </tr> "; And this produces something like this: You can see in the code how I simply calculate the length of the bar based on a breweries rating. What I want to do next is have the rating number show on top of each breweries on the left hand side. How would I go about accomplishing this?     Hello everybody, I'm trying to implement The Game of Life in java, as an exercise to learn this language. Unfortunately I have a problem, as I don't seem able to make this program run correctly. It's a very odd behaviour, and it's been giving me a headache for 3 days now... maybe I'm missing something basic about variables?
