  • highlight parent window text when spell checking from child window

    I'm working on a simple spell checking app for a lecture that I'm giving. I've got the basic spell checking code working just fine using a child form and NHunspell - great lib, by the way. However, I'd like for the parent textbox to show the highlighted text for reference, and while I'm setting the SelectedText properties accordingly, the text is not highlighted in the parent. Canceling the child window and the parent text is highlighted. Anybody know how I can do this?

  • Is it possible to make WebLogic check REDEPLOY file more often?

    [sorry for apparent shouting in the title, it's just that the file is named in all uppercase] Given advice in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2695124 I successfully implemented and have been using autodeployment in WebLogic. This works great, but a tad too slow to my tastes, it seems like about 10 seconds pass between touching REDEPLOY file and WebLogic's start of redeployment. Is there any way I can instruct WebLogic to test timestamp on that file more often?

  • Opening a huge .csv file with Excel Interop using C#

    Hi, I have an application that write huge .csv files about the size ranging from 1 GB to 2 GB. I need to color code the file and save it as .xlsx. So I have tried using Excel Interop and it works great for small files, but when I try to open a 1.3 GB .csv file with Excel, I get an Hresult error. Any ideas as to how I could accomplish this task either with using Excel, or if there is any other way of doing it. Thanks!

    I was reading the following article and the author made it quite clear that unit tests are NOT used to find bugs. I would like to know what your thoughts are on this.   • How to mix mongodb and a traditional db in Rails?

    I am considering using MongoDB (mongo-mapper) for a portion of my rails application. I am not ready to go whole hog MongoDB because there are too many useful gems that depend on a traditional DB. That being said there are parts of my application that would be great to leverage a document database. Has anyone had success mixing the two approaches?   • is there a faster version of fminbnd in matlab?

    I am now using fminbnd in Matlab, and I find it relatively slow (I am using it inside a nested loop). The function itself, its interface and the values it returns are great, but when looking into the .m file I see it is not optimized. As a matter of fact, I was hoping for something like that to be written as a mex. Anyone knows of an alternative to fminbnd which works much faster and does not have much overhead?

  • wii motionplus support

    hello, I am developing a PC application that interacts with the Wii Remote. So far I have been using the wiiuse library, which has worked great. However wiiuse does not support the MotionPlus extension. I have heard of extensions to implement this by Dolphin and libogc but have not managed to locate this code. Do you know of code that implements support for MotionPlus with wiiuse, or another C based libary?
