  • mySQL Trigger works after console insert, but not after script insert.

    - by Marcos
    Hello, I have a strange wird problem with a trigger: I set up a trigger for update other tables after an insert in a table. If i make an insert from mysql console, all works fine, but if i do inserts from external python script, trigger does nothing, as you can see bellow. When i insert from console, works fine, but insert THE SAME DATA from python script, doesn't works, i try changing the Definer to 'user'@'%' and 'root'@'%' but stills doing nothing. Any idea of what van be wrong? Regards mysql> select vid_visit,vid_money from videos where video_id=487; +-----------+-----------+ | vid_visit | vid_money | +-----------+-----------+ | 21 | 0.297 | +-----------+-----------+ 1 row in set (0,01 sec) mysql> INSERT INTO `prusland`.`validEvents` ( `id` , `campaigns_id` , `video_id` , `date` , `producer_id` , `distributor_id` , `money_producer` , `money_distributor` , `type` ) VALUES ( NULL , '30', '487', '2010-05-20 01:20:00', '1', '0', '0.009', '0.000', 'PRE' ); Query OK, 1 row affected (0,00 sec) mysql> select vid_visit,vid_money from videos where video_id=487; +-----------+-----------+ | vid_visit | vid_money | +-----------+-----------+ | 22 | 0.306 | +-----------+-----------+ DROP TRIGGER IF EXISTS `updateVisitAndMoney`// CREATE TRIGGER `updateVisitAndMoney` BEFORE INSERT ON `validEvents` FOR EACH ROW BEGIN if (NEW.type = 'PRE') THEN SET @eventcash=NEW.money_producer + NEW.money_distributor; UPDATE campaigns SET cmp_visit_distributed = cmp_visit_distributed + 1 , cmp_money_distributed = cmp_money_distributed + NEW.money_producer + NEW.money_distributor WHERE idcampaigns = NEW.campaigns_id; UPDATE offer_producer SET ofp_visit_procesed = ofp_visit_procesed + 1 , ofp_money_procesed = ofp_money_procesed + NEW. money_producer WHERE ofp_video_id = NEW.video_id AND ofp_money_procesed = NEW. campaigns_id; UPDATE videos SET vid_visit = vid_visit + 1 , vid_money = vid_money + @eventcash WHERE video_id = NEW.video_id; if (NEW.distributor_id != '') then UPDATE agreements SET visit_procesed = visit_procesed + 1, money_producer = money_producer + NEW.money_producer, money_distributor = money_distributor + NEW.money_distributor WHERE id_campaigns = NEW. campaigns_id AND id_video = NEW.video_id AND ag_distributor_id = NEW.distributor_id; UPDATE eventForDay SET visit = visit + 1, money = money + NEW. money_distributor WHERE date = SYSDATE() AND campaign_id = NEW. campaigns_id AND user_id = NEW.distributor_id; UPDATE eventForDay SET visit = visit + 1, money = money + NEW.money_producer WHERE date = SYSDATE() AND campaign_id = NEW. campaigns_id AND user_id= NEW.producer_id; ELSE UPDATE eventForDay SET visit = visit + 1, money = money + NEW. money_producer WHERE date = SYSDATE() AND campaign_id = NEW. campaigns_id AND user_id = NEW.producer_id; END IF; END IF; END //

  • What is this weird script I found on facebook?

    - by Mike Turley
Not so much a question to help my own programming, but I found this page on facebook with a cool illusion and a page that says "to see the real illusion, copy and paste this code into your address bar" and there is a script: http://pastebin.com/LQUVQ8hm What the hell is this? What would happen if I put it in my address bar, which I assume would be a very unwise idea? I am confused.

  • What is the most robust way of determining the current codepage from a shell script?

    - by rewbs
Hi all, I'd like to determine the environment's current codepage at runtime from a Unix shell script. What's the most reliable way of doing this? I'm looking into parsing environment variable $LC_ALL, but it isn't always set to a useful value, and its format seems to vary (can be <locale, or <locale.<code page, or <locale.<code page@<modifier etc...). Is there a better way? I'm essentially after a shell equivalent of what I'd get if I called nl_langinfo(CODESET) from C.

  • PHP script sample for iPhone hi-score/survey uploading?

    - by Horace Ho
I am looking for a PHP example/tutorial which can accept hi-scores/survey upload from an iPhone. Hopefully, the PHP script: accepts POST, in additional to GET works over SSL (https) connects to MySQL In addition, it'd best the iPhone can get a session from the server and submit the session value along with the hi-score. Thanks

  • How can I use Action Script 3.0 to make random placed Symbols fly by?

    - by William Calleja
I'm trying to make a simple animation with Flash CS4 and Action Script 3.0 to make a number of Symbols fly by from right to left constantly. What I want is that once a symbol has reached the end of the screen it is destroyed and another one is placed at the start position. I intend to give each symbol a random speed and create a random symbol each time one is 'destroyed'. Any clues where I can start?

  • Does main() need to be in every script containing handlers?

    - by Will Merydith
Experienced Java programmer trying to learn Python. I have an applicaiton on Google App Engine and want to move my admin Handlers to a separate file. So now I have main.py and admin.py. I've set up app.yaml to route traffic properly, and have added the call to WSGIApplication() in each file to route to the appropriate Handler. My question is does each script file need def main() and the corresponding if statement: application = webapp.WSGIApplication([(r'/admin/(.*)', Admin)], debug=True) def main(): run_wsgi_app(application) if __name__ == '__main__': main()

  • Looking for a script/tool to dump a list of installed features and programs on Windows Server 2008 R

    - by Hamish Grubijan
Hi, The same compiled .Net / C++ / Com program does different things on two seemingly same computers. Both have DOZENS of things installed on them. I would like to figure out what the difference between the two is by looking at an ASCII diff. Before that I need to "serialize" the list of installed things in a plain readable format - sorted alphabetically + one item per line. A Python script would be ideal, but I also have Perl, PowerShell installed. Thank you.

  • Where does code within Script tags go in the resulting AS class?

    - by Hanno Fietz
I was wondering what happens to the code contained in an <mx:Script> tag. If I define a function tehre, it just becomes a member function of the generated class. But I noticed that it seems OK for the compiler if I just write some (static) method calls there (specifically, I call Font.registerFont()). I feel kind of guilty for doing this, because I have no idea what's really happening and when the code gets executed.

  • Wrong encoding in DataReceivedEventArgs

    - by user2102508
I start cmd.exe process and redirect stdin to pass script to it and redirect stdout and stderr to read cmd's output. Here is the code of my DataReceivedEventHandler: (o, a) => { if(!String.IsNullOrEmpty(a.Data)) { bw.Write(a.Data.ToUTF8()); bw.Write((byte)'\n'); } } In the code bw is instance of BinaryWriter, ToUTF8 is string extension method, that converts a string to UTF8 encoded byte array. When I use this code in a separate process it works well, however when I use this code as a shared library inside some other process a.Data doesn't contain valid localized characters (like russian characters for example). So how should I convert characters? How to get cmd's OEM encoding? Why does the code works well in a separate process and doesn't work as a shared library inside some other process?

  • ODI 11g – Scripting Repository Creation

    - by David Allan
Here’s a quick post on how to create both master and work repositories in one simple dialog, its using the groovy capabilities in ODI 11g and the groovy swing builder components. So if you want more/less take the groovy script and change, its easy stuff. The groovy script odi_create_repos.groovy is here, just open it in ODI before connecting and you will be able to create both master and work repositories with ease – or check the groovy out and script your own automation – you can construct the master, work and runtime repositories, so if you are embedding ODI as your DI engine this may be very useful. When you click ‘Create Repository’ you will see the following in the log as the master repository starts to be created; ====================================================== Repository Creation Started.... ====================================================== Master Repository Creation Started.... Then the completion message followed by the work repository creation and final completion message. Master Repository Creation Completed. Work Repository Creation Started. Work Repository Creation Completed. ====================================================== Repository Creation Completed Successfully ====================================================== Script exited. If any error is hit, the script just exits and prints any error to the log. For example if I enter no passwords, I will get this error; ====================================================== Repository Creation Started.... ====================================================== Master Repository Creation Started.... ====================================================== Repository Creation Complete in Error ====================================================== oracle.odi.setup.RepositorySetupException: oracle.odi.core.security.PasswordPolicyNotMatchedException: ODI-10189: Password policy MinPasswordLength is not matched. ====================================================== Script exited. This is another example of using the ODI 11g SDK showing how to automate the construction of your data integration environment. The main interfaces and classes used here are IMasterRepositorySetup / MasterRepositorySetupImpl and IWorkRepositorySetup / WorkRepositorySetupImpl.

  • Cygwin Python and Windows Ruby

    - by Cheezo
I have a peculiar setup as follows: I have cygwin installed on a Windows 7 machine. I need execute a python script setup in cygwin from the windows CLI. This works fine : c:\cygwin\bin\python2.6.exe c:\cygwin\bin\python-script This python-script accesses a file: ~/.some_config_file which translates to /home/user-name when i execute it from Windows as above. So this works as expected. Now, the next step is to execute this python script from ruby(which is setup on Windows natively w/o Cygwin). When i execute the script from ruby, the ~/.some_config_file translates to /cygdrive/c/Users/user-name instead of the expected /home/user-name leading to the script failing. I understand that something in the environment, PATH etc needs to be set correctly although i cannot seem to find what exactly.

  • How to retrieve the Identity (@@IDENTITY) of a record you just inserted into a table.

    - by Edward Boyle
SELECT @@IDENTITY will retrive that last generated @@IDENTITY from the current connection. int thisid = (int)cmd.ExecuteScalar("SELECT @@IDENTITY",conn); If there is another write in another connection you do not have to worry. Again, @@IDENTITY will retrieve last generated @@IDENTITY from the current connection. Null if no @@IDENTITY was generated on this connection. Another method is to append ;SELECT @@IDENTITY to your SQL Insert and use ExecuteScalar() What was: INSERT INTO STUFF(Field) VALUES(1) ... cmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); Becomes: string cstring= "INSERT INTO STUFF(Field) VALUES(1);SELECT @@IDENTITY"; int thisid = (int)cmd.ExecuteScalar(cstring, conn); In SQL Server Compact Edition you must send your commands in one at a time, you can not append ;SELECT @@IDENTITY to an insert.

  • SQL SERVER – Running Multiple Batch Files Together in Parallel

    - by pinaldave
Recently I was preparing a demo for my next technical session, I had to do run a SQL code in parallel. I decided to use Batch File to run the code. I am not the best guy to with command shell so I did it with following setup. Code of tsql.sql SELECT 1 ColumnName Code of command.bat sqlcmd -S . -i tsql.sql timeout 100 Code of  AllBatch.bat start cmd.exe /C “command.bat” start cmd.exe /C “command.bat” start cmd.exe /C “command.bat” Now I ran AllBatch.bat and it run all the three files in parallel and simulated my needed scenario. I believe there should be simpler way using power-shell. Anybody want to come up with equivalent code which is improvement to this code? I have this script on /etc/init/bitcoind.conf description "bitcoind" start on filesystem stop on runlevel [!2345] oom never expect daemon respawn respawn limit 10 60 # 10 times in 60 seconds script user=andre home=/home/$user cmd=/usr/bin/bitcoind pidfile=$home/.bitcoin/bitcoind.pid # Don't change anything below here unless you know what you're doing [[ -e $pidfile && ! -d "/proc/$(cat $pidfile)" ]] && rm $pidfile [[ -e $pidfile && "$(cat /proc/$(cat $pidfile)/cmdline)" != $cmd* ]] && rm $pidfile exec start-stop-daemon --start -c $user --chdir $home --pidfile $pidfile --starta $cmd -b -m end script After creating this script I've run the command: sudo initctl reload-configuration When I restart Ubuntu the "bitcoind" does not start. I only can start "bitcoind" running manually the command: sudo start bitcoind Any clues on how to start "bitcoind" on boot?
