  • perl TemplateToolkit - Can't locate object method "new" via package

    Hi, I have inherited a web project that is perl based and I'm attempting to set up a local testing server so changes can be made internally to the project. The server architecture Ubuntu 9.10 php 5.2.10 mysql 5.1.37 perl 5.10.0-24ubuntu4 All the dependent modules and packages are installed such as DateTime.pm, TemplateToolkit.pm but running the application throws the following error message: Can't locate object method "new" via package "Template" (perhaps you forgot to load "Template"?) at ../lib//KPS/TemplateToolkit.pm line 51 The code block that this refers to is: sub new { return Template->new( INCLUDE_PATH => $KPS::Config::templatepath, ABSOLUTE => 1, DEBUG => 1, ); } If anybody is able to shed any light on this or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. In my controller's rss action, my last command is : render(text: getFeed("rss_2.0"), contentType:"application/rss+xml", encoding:"ISO-8859-1 ") However, when I navigate to my feed's URL, the header is : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <rss xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/" version="2.0"> ... Does anyone have a clue about WHY the encoding is UTF-8 when I set it to ISO-8859-1 in the render method ??? Thanks for your help !

  • Autotools automatic invocation of lcov after 'make check'

    I have successfully set up an autotools project where the tests compiles with instrumentation so I can get a test coverage report. I can get the report by running lcov in the source dir after a successful 'make check'. I now face the problem that I want to automate this step. I would like to add this to 'make check' or to make it a separate goal 'make check-coverage'. Ideally I would like to parse the result and fail if the coverage falls below a certain percentage. Problem is that I cannot figure out how to add a custom target at all. The closest I got was finding this example autotools config, but I can't see where in that project the goal 'make lcov' is added. I can only see some configure flags in m4/auxdevel.m4. Any tips?

    My code works for ORs as I've listed it below but I want to use AND instead of OR and it fails. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. Basically I have a Linq query that searches on multiple fields in an XML file. The search fields might not all have information. Each element runs the extension method, and tests the equality.     i have a problem using a GridView with a CustomAdapter (extends BaseAdapter). any Activity implements the OnItemClickListener. if i use ImageView as item everything works fine, OnItemClick-Events will be fired/catched I have not found a useful example for a GridView with a custom BaseAdapter using ImageButton.   • IE not detecting jquery change method for checkbox

    The code below works in FF, Safari, Chrome. But IE is giving me issues.   • Confused about this factory, as it doesn't look like an Abstract Factory nor Factory Method

    I'm looking into Guice and I've been reading its documentation recently. Reading the motivation section I don't understand the factories part, why they name it that way. To me that factory is just a wrapper for the implementing class they want it to return after calling getInstance(). public class CreditCardProcessorFactory { private static CreditCardProcessor instance; public static void setInstance(CreditCardProcessor creditCardProcessor) { instance = creditCardProcessor; } public static CreditCardProcessor getInstance() { if (instance == null) { throw new IllegalStateException("CreditCardProcessorFactory not initialized. " + "Did you forget to call CreditCardProcessor.setInstance() ?"); } return instance; } } Why do they call it factory as well if it is neither an abstract factory nor a factory method?     I'm trying to find out if Ruby has en equivalent of php's fopen() method currently used like this: $fd = fopen("php://stdin", "r"); would that be using ARGV variable? Basically what I plan on doing is forward raw e-mail messages using the .procmailrc file which I already got working in a test php file, but the project requires the use of Ruby. Therefore I'm not 100% sure if using the ARGV variable would work or if somehow I need to capture the e-mail stream by some other means. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

  • iPhone UITableView trigger a parent method?

    Okay, so I'm working on an iPhone app with a preferences-esque section where there's a base TableView, which has one section, and several rows of customized cells to hold a name and a value label. Clicking on a row brings up another View, which allows the user to pick from a list (another TableView), and select an item. All of these TableViews are done programatically. The base TableView has a property that holds a Controller instance for each of the "pick from the list" Views. Each of the "pick from the list" views has a property called chosenValue that has the currently-selected option. I've gotten the UI to handle the didSelectRowAtIndexPath to update the chosenValue property and then "pop" the view (going back to the main TableView). But, even though the main TableView's cellForRowAtIndexPath method references the chosenValue property of the subview that's held in a property, the view doesn't update when an item is selected. In short, how can the sub-view trigger a reloadData on the parent object, after it "pops" and unloads?

  • Launch Apple's Stocks app, with a particular stock selected

    I would like to launch Apple's Stocks app to show information for a particular stock, on a non-jailbroken phone. I'm not interesting in how to get a quote or graph a stock myself, just opening Stocks.app. I was hoping that the Stocks app would have a custom URL format, so opening a URL like stocks://AAPL would do the trick. But I haven't found anything documenting such a scheme, and suspect it doesn't exist. Any other ideas, or is it impossible to integrate with the native Stocks app?

However in the event that the class hierarchy is likely to change, I have been using the uncommented form, until recently. It appears that in the call to the super constructor for B in the above hierarchy, that B.__init__ is called again, self.__class__ is actually C, not B as I had always assumed. Is there some way in Python-2.x that I can overcome this, and maintain proper MRO when calling super constructors without actually naming the current class?

I managed to do it with a regular ListView, but now that I switched to ObjectListView(a lot more features, and ease), I can't seem to do the same.     class << self attr_accessor :n, :totalX, :totalY end The syntax above is used for defining class instance variables. But when I think about what syntax implies, it doesn't make any sense to me, so I'm wondering if this type of syntax is used for any other types of definitions. My point of confusion here is this: class << self The append operator normally means "add what's on the right to the object on the left". But in the context of this block, how does that add up to "put the contents of this block into the definition of the class instance rather than the instance"? For the same reason I'm confused as to why in one context class << self can define class instance variables while in another it seems to create class variables such as here: class Point # Instance methods go here class << self # Class methods go here end end

    Instead of serving my Sass files from the default 'views' directory I'd like to change this to /assets/sass The following attempts are in my main ruby root file in the app: Attempt 1 set :sass, Proc.new { File.join(root, "assets/sass") } get '/stylesheet.css' do sass :core end With this I get the following error: myapp.rb:17 NoMethodError: undefined method `merge' for "/Users/x/x/x/mysinatraapp/assets/sass":String Attempt 2 get '/stylesheet.css' do sass :'/assets/sass/core' end Attempt 3 get '/stylesheet.css' do sass :'/assets/sass/core' end Both return the following error: Errno::ENOENT: No such file or directory - ./views/assets/sass/core.sass Attempt 4 get '/stylesheet.css' do sass :'../assets/sass/core' end This works! however, there must be something along the lines of set :sass, Proc.new { File.join(root, "assets/sass") } that sets this up for me?

    I made an automation Add-In for Excel, and I made several functions (formulas). I have a class which header looks like this (it is COM visible): [ClassInterface(ClassInterfaceType.AutoDual)] [ComVisible(true)] public class Functions {} In a list of methods, I see: ToString(), Equals(), GetHashCode() and GetType() methods. Since all methods of my class are COM visible, I should somehow hide those 4. I succeeded with 3 of them: ToString(), Equals(), GetHashCode() but GetType() cannot be overriden. Here is what I did with 3 of them: [ComVisible(false)] public override string ToString() { return base.ToString(); } [ComVisible(false)] public override bool Equals(object obj) { return base.Equals(obj); } [ComVisible(false)] public override int GetHashCode() { return base.GetHashCode(); } This doesn't work: [ComVisible(false)] public override Type GetType() { return base.GetType(); } Here is the error message in Visual Studio when compile: ..GetType()': cannot override inherited member 'object.GetType()' because it is not marked virtual, abstract, or override So, what should I do to hide the GetType() method from COM?

  • WCF method called twice

    Hi, I have a web service which is returning data to the desktop application. The problem I am having is, when the web service returns small volume of data everything works fine but when the volume of data is large it throws the following exception: System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive. And when I am debugging the web service, I see that this particular method is called twice. It executes the return statement 1st time nothing happens, but when it does execute it for the second time the above mentioned exception is thrown in the desktop app. I found similar posts before on stackoverflow but they did not solve my problem. Can anybody please tell me what's going on in here? Thanks!

  • Custom Annotation not showing all

    Okay, i have a number of pins on the mapkit. These pins showing different types of attractions. (E.g Parks, Farms and etc) I want to add custom images for these different types of pin. Parks have a park image and vice versa. However, when i added in, not all the images are showing successfully. For example, in parks, it should have 5 pins, but the image only came up in 2 pins, whereas other 3 is in default red pins. But if i used colours to differentiate them. For example, [pinsetPinColor:MKPinAnnotationColorGreen]; It works! Anyone knows what is the problem? Relevant codes below.   • tomcat axis2 shared libs and spring destroy-method problem

    in tomcat\lib there are axis*, axis2* jars. I cannot delete them [sysadmin won't allow to do that]. My web-app invokes web-services. I put Jax-ws jars directly to myapp/web-inf/lib. so inner calls frow a web app servlets use jax-ws libraries. but since "destroy-method" of the bean invokes a web-service, and session is destroyed, then spring makes a service call through tomcat/lib/* = axis2 libraries, and not by using web-inf/lib/jax-ws* How to: a) while not deleting axis2 libs from shared tomcat folder b) make spring use jax-ws libraries to make a web-service call ?
