  Hello, for a publicly accessible terminal server I have created a user profile which only allows running of a few programs (demonstration of applications). This results in many people connecting to the same user name on the server, essentially sharing the same profile. How can I copy the original, empty profile on every logon to a seperate directory and delete it afterwards, so everybody starts with a clean copy of the "Guest"-Account?

  In emacs, yanking works something like this: if you delete something, it can be yanked back into another position. In other words, emacs's yank is sort of like cut and paste. On the other hand, it seems like vim's yank is like copy and paste: I can yank something and then paste it elsewhere, but the original text is still there. Is there any way to cut the text rather than just copying it in vim?

  I have several copies/instances of my xp mode image and have a bunch of apps that were auto-published to Win7. I have since disabled the "auto-publish" apps in the instances but still have the applications listed. What is the correct/best way to clear them out. I read a post somewhere that you can just delete the shortcut in the start menu but I want to remove all links and don't know if that would suffice? Thanks TK

• Program to swap files between drives?

  Has anyone built a program/script to transfer files between 2 hard drives, but like if both are near full....so one copies 1 file over then the other copies the other file, then they delete the files that were copied? Kind of annoying, have a 6tb raid at about 4tb full, then 1 4.5tb basically full, can't really swap them easily....without doing many copies and deletes of files....   Every now and then I need to delete a folder containing something like 500k files from an NTFS volume. I do this with Windows Explorer. Since NTFS journals all the service data changes each deletion is carried out serially and so the whole 500k files deletion takes ages. I remember when I did the same in FAT32 it ran uncomparably faster. Is there any way to speed up deletion of large number of files on NTFS volumes?

  I want to backup my AWS snapshots to a completely separate AWS account for additional security (if my AWS credentials were acquired someone could delete all my snapshots and volumes). But I'm a bit stumped on how to do this. There doesn't seem to be a way to store a volume or snapshot in S3 such that another user could access that data in s3 and store it in a separate AWS account.   My sister still has Win XP. She tried to print a document on her USB printer and now it's stuck in the printing queue. I tried the following: Restart the computer Restart the printer Delete the entry from the printing queue From the printing queue choose Printer\Cancel All Documents Right click the print job and choose Pause The status of the printing job now reads "Deleting - Paused - Printing". Nothing I do seems to get rid of this stuck printing job. What should I do?
