• Converting digits, generated by weblog service, to Indic or Roman

  I need to write something in my html code to convert digits of form 0123456789 to ?????????? (Arabic digits). the number of visitors is generated by blog service. and I want to convert its digits to Arabic. Counter: ????? ????????????? : <BlogSky:Weblog Counter /> ??? the Persian part of above code mean 'Number of visitors' and 'Persons' (from left to right). but digits are represented in latin (0123...). Is it possible to write something like a function in html? i want it to be a global one for using in weblogs. Note: I don't know anything about web programming languages. (and don't want to learn!). I'm not sure about language of above code. (html?)

• Is there anything for Python that is like readability.js?

  Hi, I'm looking for a package / module / function etc. that is approximately the Python equivalent of Arc90's readability.js http://lab.arc90.com/experiments/readability http://lab.arc90.com/experiments/readability/js/readability.js so that I can give it some input.html and the result is cleaned up version of that html page's "main text". I want this so that I can use it on the server-side (unlike the JS version that runs only on browser side). Any ideas? PS: I have tried Rhino + env.js and that combination works but the performance is unacceptable it takes minutes to clean up most of the html content :( (still couldn't find why there is such a big performance difference).

However, when adding controls which themselves contain a scriptmanagerProxy we run into the problem that the newed up Page object doesn't contain either a ScriptManager or the HtmlForm in which the ScriptManager needs to run.   Hi, I have the following line of code: <%= Html.Label((string) GetLocalResourceObject("Label_Email")) %> This generates a label within an HTML page. In the local resource file I have the following entry: Name: Label_Email Value:Email For some very strange reason when I load the page in the browser, it generates an HTML label with a value of "Email Address" instead of "Email". This is a serious problem for me because I need to localize the application and not have english word "address". When I replace Value in the local resouce file with "Email " (notice extra space), everything works fine, but this is a hack and I need to understand why my application is behaving this way. • Can't print elements in a DIV tag

  I am using a Drag-able and re-sizeable DIV's in this HTML file. Where the user will place the DIV tag to his desired place in a main parent DIV tag. Now I want to print this main DIV tag, but the problem is that the code which I'm using to PRINT this main DIV is printing in a sequence, like not the way user has arranged the DIV's.   Hi, I have some issues with my email -body when i send mails I'm using php in my site. My website is a spanish site , when ever i send a mail some special characters are comming in that mail. • image problem with dreamweaver

  i'm trying to create a newsletter in a single html file, which will be loaded into outlook express and sent out as a mail. i have like a few images embedded onto the html file but 2 of them cant be loaded for preview in design mode. there is no problem for the rest of the images. those images that cant be loaded has the grey color icon. the directory for the images are the same. i have copied and pasted the absolute directory for the images that cant load and it doesnt work. the images loads fine when executed from the html file that was uploaded to the webserver. i need to get the newsletter out tomorrow, any assistance here? thanks in advance.

• crunching multiple js files during development

  I'm writing a backbone.js app. I have multiple js, css and html template files. I also have a script to crunch them into a single file so it is faster to download. How should I work during development: Add a listener to the file system and after every change compile the files so I can see it in a browser. This implies a 1-2 seconds overhead before I can see what I did, which is annoying for html fine-tuning. Somehow browse using the multiple files during development and only crunch before going to production. This means I need to have a separate index.html for dev and prod. What's your take?

If your only requested data field is a "2 digit" you can use html text input element get some data. Then you want to make it useful; enable user easily select data from a 'html select' But not all of your data is well-ordered so eye-searching within these data is somehow cumbersome. Because your data is meaningful with its relations. If there is no primary key for foreign key "12" it should not be shown. Vice versa if this foreign key occurs a lot, then it has some weight and could be displayed with more importance. So, what will be your way? a) Use text input to get data and validate it with regex, javascript, ... b) Use some dropdown select. c) Any other way ? Any answer will appreciated :)

• Are UTF16 (as used by for example wide-winapi functions) characters always 2 byte long?

  Please clarify for me, how does UTF16 work? I am a little confused, considering these points: There is a static type in C++, WCHAR, which is 2 bytes long. (always 2 bytes long obvisouly) Most of msdn and some other documentation seem to have the assumptions that the characters are always 2 bytes long. This can just be my imagination, I can't come up with any particular examples, but it just seems that way. There are no "extra wide" functions or characters types widely used in C++ or windows, so I would assume that UTF16 is all that is ever needed. To my uncertain knowledge, unicode has a lot more characters than 65535, so they obvisouly don't have enough space in 2 bytes. UTF16 seems to be a bigger version of UTF8, and UTF8 characters can be of different lengths. So if a UTF16 character not always 2 bytes long, how long else could it be? 3 bytes? or only multiples of 2? And then for example if there is a winapi function that wants to know the size of a wide string in characters, and the string contains 2 characters which are each 4 bytes long, how is the size of that string in characters calculated? Is it 2 chars long or 4 chars long? (since it is 8 bytes long, and each WCHAR is 2 bytes)

• Can a Client Link to My JavaScript, Hosted on a Different Domain?

  Is it possible for me to supply a client with a snippet of HTML which contains a reference to a javascript file that I host? They want to paste this HTML into their CMS, so that when their page loads, it'll load our content. I was under the impression that there was cross domain security preventing this from being possible.
