    I have a package with a few modules, each module has a class (or a few classes) defined within it. I need to get the list of all modules within the package. Is there an API for this in python? Here is the file structure: \pkg\ \pkg\__init__.py \pkg\module1.py -> defines Class1 \pkg\module2.py -> defines Class2 \pkg\module3.py -> defines Class3 and Class31 from within module1 I need to get the list of modules within pkg, and then import all the classes defined in these modules Thanks ak

    I'm constructing an XElement with a couple attributes that have different namespaces. The code looks like this: var element = new XElement("SynchronousCommand", new XAttribute("{wcm}action", "add"), new XAttribute("{ns}id", Guid.NewGuid()), new XElement... ); The XML that is generated looks like this: <unattend xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:unattend"> <SynchronousCommand d5p1:action="add" d5p2:id="c0f5fc6d-d407-4d3d-8a05-d84236cca2fb" xmlns:d5p2="ns" xmlns:d5p1="wcm"> ... </SynchronousCommand> </unattend> I'm just wondering if the auto-generated d5p2 is valid and why it is doing this. According to the XML standards here it seems like it would be valid.   • How do I serialize an enum value as an int?

    I want to serialize my enum-value as an int, but i only get the name. Here is my (sample) class and enum: public class Request { public RequestType request; } public enum RequestType { Booking = 1, Confirmation = 2, PreBooking = 4, PreBookingConfirmation = 5, BookingStatus = 6 } And the code (just to be sure i'm not doing it wrong) Request req = new Request(); req.request = RequestType.Confirmation; XmlSerializer xml = new XmlSerializer(req.GetType()); StringWriter writer = new StringWriter(); xml.Serialize(writer, req); textBox1.Text = writer.ToString(); This answer (to another question) seems to indicate that enums should serialize to ints as default, but it doesn't seem to do that.   • Why element creation requires the document object in DOM?

    As noted by others, in Java, with the default W3C DOM libraries, one is required to use the Document object a factory to elements, i.e.: import org.w3c.dom.Document; import org.w3c.dom.Element; Document d; Element e; e = d.createElement("tag"); Why is that necessary? Why conceptually a method can't create an XML element without knowing all of the target document? Why I can't just instantiate using 'new' or something to that effect?

  • Static files in (Java) App Engine not accessible.

    The example documentation says that you simply need to place your files in war/ (or a subdirectory) and they should be accessible from the host (as long as they aren't JSPs or in WEB-INF). For example, if you place foo.css in war/ then you should be able to access it at http://localhost:8080/foo.css. However, this isn't working for me at all. NONE of my static files are accessible. The docs on appengine-web.xml say that you can also specifically denote certain types as static. I've tried this as well and it makes no difference. Am I missing something obvious? UPDATE: Turns out one of the mappings in my web.xml was a little too aggressive. The following was the culprit: <servlet> <servlet-name>Main</servlet-name> <servlet-class>MainServlet</servlet-class> </servlet> <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>Main</servlet-name> <url-pattern>/</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping> It seems that it was grabbing everything that wasn't grabbed be one of the other rules, which I don't understand because there was no * on the end of the url-pattern. It also seems to be directly contradictory to the documentation that says: Note: Static files, files that are served verbatim to users such as images, CSS or JavaScript, are handled separately from paths mentioned in the deployment descriptor. A request for a URL path that matches a path to a file in the WAR that's considered a static file will serve the file, regardless of servlet and filter mappings in the deployment descriptor. You can exclude files from those treated as static files using the appengine-web.xml file. So, how can I have a rule that matches the base of my domain (eg. http://www.example.com/) and still allows the static files to filter through?

    I am trying to form ribbon XML with the data from the database and following is what I wrote:- XNamespace xNameSpace = "http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2006/01/customui"; XDocument document = new XDocument(); document.Add( new XElement (xNameSpace+"customUI" , new XElement("ribbon" , new XElement("tabs")))); // more code to add the groups and the controls with-in the groups ....... // code below to add ribbon XML to the document and to add the relationship RibbonExtensibilityPart ribbonExtensibilityPart = myDoc.AddNewPart<RibbonExtensibilityPart>(); ribbonExtensibilityPart.CustomUI = new DocumentFormat.OpenXml.Office.CustomUI.CustomUI(ribbonXml.ToString()); myDoc.CreateRelationshipToPart(ribbonExtensibilityPart); I don't see any error executing the above. However, when I open the changed document, I dont see my ribbon added. I see following in the CustomUI/CustomUI.xml inside the word:- <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><customUI xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/2006/01/customui"> <ribbon xmlns=""> <tabs> ..... I am not sure how the "xmlns" attribute is getting added to the ribbon element. When I remove that attribute, the ribbon gets showed. Could anybody throw any idea on where am I going wrong?

    I'm developing a series of web applications using Eclipse IDE, Maven, SVN, and Hudson for CI. When I specify the "Root POM" option in my Hudson job to be the copy of pom.xml in its workspace directory, the build fails citing compilation failure due to missing classpath entries. [ERROR] BUILD FAILURE [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [INFO] Compilation failure C:\Users\djones\.hudson\jobs\Store\workspace\trunk\src\main\java\com\app\store\model\User.java:[24,42] package org.hibernate.validator.constraints does not exist C:\Users\djones\.hudson\jobs\Store\workspace\trunk\src\main\java\com\app\store\dao\UserGroupHibernateSupportDao.java:[8,20] package org.hibernate does not exist C:\Users\djones\.hudson\jobs\Store\workspace\trunk\src\main\java\com\app\store\dao\UserGroupHibernateSupportDao.java:[10,49] package org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.support does not exist When I specify the "Root POM" to be the copy of pom.xml in my Eclipse workspace, it builds just fine. It builds fine from Eclipse too. I want to move Hudson over to a separate machine so several developers can use it, so I can't very well point to my own development workspace to give it a POM. If I try putting an SVN URL in the "root pom.xml" option, it says file not found. What should I be entering here for a project worked on by several developers, and hosted in an SVN repository?

  • How to implement a sharepoint lists webservice

    I want to implement a web-service that uses the same interface as the Lists web service in sharepoint. I do not want to run this through sharepoint. What is a good way to get started in this? I have tried to use the wsdl.exe tool to generate some wrapper classes but the generated wrappers seem to have punted on the structure parameters and just specified them as XML. For example below is the generated wrapper for GetList - it should return a structure which has the information in the list, but instead it is returning XML.   • How to merge objects in php ?

    Hey everybody, I'm currently re-writing a class which handles xml files. Depending on the xml file and it's structure I sometimes need to merge objects. Lets say once I have this: <page name="a title"/> And another time I have this: <page name="a title"> <permission>administrator</permission> </page> Before, I needed only the attributes from the "page" element. That's why a lot of my code expects an object containing only the attributes ($loadedXml-attributes()). Now there are xml files in which the <permission> element is required. I did manage to merge the objects (though not as I wanted) but I can't get to access one of them (most probably it's something I'm missing). To merge my objects I used this code: (object) array_merge( (array) $loadedXml->attributes(), (array) $loadedXml->children() ); This is what I get from print_r(): stdClass Object ( [@attributes] => Array ( [name] => a title ) [permission] => Array ( [0] => administrator ) ) So now my question is how to access the @attributes method ?     Hi: I am using myXmlDataDoc.DataSet.ReadXml(xml_file_name, XmlReadMode.InferSchema); to populate the tables within the dataset created by reading in a xml schema using: myStreamReader = new StreamReader(xsd_file_name); myXmlDataDoc.DataSet.ReadXmlSchema(myStreamReader); The problems I am facing is when it comes to read the xml tag: The readXml function puts the element in a different table and everything in the tables are 0s. Here is the print out of the datatable: TableName: test_data 100 2 1 TableName: parameters 1 0 2 0 3 0 4 0 5 0 6 0 7 0 8 0 9 0 10 0 11 0 12 0 In my xsd file, I represent an array using this: <xs:element name="test_data"> <xs:complexType> <xs:complexContent> <xs:extension base="test_base"> <xs:sequence> <xs:element name="a" type="xs:unsignedShort"/> <xs:element name="b" type="xs:unsignedShort"/> <xs:element name="c" type="xs:unsignedInt"/> <xs:element name="parameters" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="12" type="xs:unsignedInt"/> </xs:sequence> </xs:extension> </xs:complexContent> </xs:complexType> And here is my xml file: 100 2 1 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 I am expecting after the readXml function call, the "parameters" is part of the test_data table.     Trying to create a simple RSS2 Feed that I could later pass on to FeedBurner but can't get RSS feed to display images at all. Also, from what I have read having xml.instruct! on top might cause IE to complain it's not a valid feed. Is this true?   • How to change XmlSchemaElement.SchemaType (or: difference between SchemaType and ElementSchemaType)

    Hey, I'm working on a XML Editor which gets all his information from the corresponding XSD file. To work with the XSD files I use the System.Xml.Schema Namespace (XmlSchema*). Because of an 'xsi:type' attribute in the XML I've to change the XmlSchemaType of an XmlSchemaElement. Until now I use in my code the 'ElementSchemaType' property of 'XmlSchemaElement'. The nice thing about it: it's read only. There is also in 'XmlSchemaElement' an 'SchemaType' property which is not read only, but always null (yes, XmlSchema and XmlSchemaSet are compiled). So how can I change the type of the 'XmlSchemaElement'? Or, also the same question: What is the diffrence between this two porperties? Some technical data: C#, .NET 3.5 The MSDN documentation is nearly the same for both: SchemaType Documentation: Gets or sets the type of the element. This can either be a complex type or a simple type. ElementSchemaType Documentation: Gets an XmlSchemaType object representing the type of the element based on the SchemaType or SchemaTypeName values of the element.

I had planned to open the file and mysql_query it a line at a time - until I looked at the schema files and realised they aren't just one query per line. So, please.. how do I load an sql file from within PHP? (as phpMyAdmin does with it's import command).

    I have a python script which makes a GUI. When a button 'Run' is pressed in this GUI it runs a function from an imported package (which I made) like this from predictmiP import predictor class MiPFrame(wx.Frame): [...] def runmiP(self, event): predictor.runPrediction(self.uploadProtInterestField.GetValue(), self.uploadAllProteinsField.GetValue(), self.uploadPfamTextField.GetValue(), \ self.edit_eval_all.Value, self.edit_eval_small.Value, self.saveOutputField) When I run the GUI directly from python it all works well and the program writes an output file. However, when I make it into an app, the GUI starts but when I press the button nothing happens. predictmiP does get included in build/bdist.macosx-10.3-fat/python2.7-standalone/app/collect/, like all the other imports I'm using (although it is empty, but that's the same as all the other imports I have). How can I get multiple python files, or an imported package to work with py2app?

  • Need help with android.os.Build.VERSION.SDK_INT and SharedPreferences

    I have a main activity where I call VersionSettings vs = new VersionSettings(this); if (vs.firstRun2()) vs.versionCheckbox(); What I'm trying to do is set a checkbox (checkboxVideoType) to an unchecked state if the Android version is 1.6-2.1 I only want to do this the very first time the app is ever run, it never needs to run again. I think I'm running into the problem when the main activity calls versionCheckbox(), I get a force close if it attempts to run the code inside that is going to set the checkbox to false. I'm very new to programming and would really appreciate some help with this. I think I'm close, but need a push. Thanks in advance!     I have an existing IDA Pro project for a C166 processor embedded application. This project already has many functions, variables, etc defined. There are different versions of the embedded application I am looking at. The different versions of the application are 99% the same, but with slight variations in code and data that cause functions and variables to be at different memory offsets. I want to create a new IDA project for a different version of the application. I would like to somehow import all of my function and variable definitions from my existing IDA project. I would like IDA to recognize the signatures of the existing function definitions and define them at there new location in the new project. How can I do this? Are there certain plugins for IDA I can chain together?

  • Magento - Add a button to system.xml with method attached to it

    Hi, I have created a module that has an "export like" method running regularly as defined in my module's cron area of the config.xml file. But I'd like to give the user the ability to run this export method on demand by adding a "Run now" button in the system configuration, thus using the system.xml file. It seems that the "frontend type" button may be working as I've tried and it adds a tiny clickable button in the config section. But I am not able to attach a method nor a label on the button itself. I thought about adding a button in the "Grid.php" file of the module but this not what I'd like to do as it does fit with my acl. Below is my system.xml file with the "button" frontend type.   • Need help with events in COM in pure C++!

    Hello, guys! Very important question: Please, look at my project (300Kb). I can`t use MFC/ATL, pure C++ only. I have COM library (niapi.dll), but no sources/headers available, dll only. There is class for connecting to server (NiApi::SrvrSession), class has login event handler (NiApi::SrvrSession::OnLogin). I used #import "NiApi.dll" to generate wrappers/information, then ISrvrSessionPtr session(L"NiApi.SrvrSession"); to create object, then trying session->put_OnLogin(); to assign events, but there is no one put_On or such member. niapi.tlh have _ISrvrSessionEvents struct inside, but it have no relations with SrvrSession. I need to use events from NiApi::SrvrSession for handling connection status. Please help or my boss kill me! (sorry for broken english, I read better than speak;)
