• Map works, but throws a popup error at load complainig about wrong api key

  Ok, I see a lot of people have this problem, but none answer I found either here or at stackoverflow. Problem: Map works super fine! But throws an error at load "This map needs a different api key... sign up at......" Already signed up, already got a key. On some forum post a guy told that in this case map loads twice, once with the wrong key, another with the right one. But Im sure my app loads it once and with the correct key. • Why is ServerVariables["HTTP_REFERER"] skipping a page?

  Here is my situation: Page1.aspx redirects to Page2.aspx which does some processing (does not display to the user) and then redirects to Page3.aspx which checks the ServerVariables["HTTP_REFERER"] or Request.UrlReferrer. I understand that the referring information can sometimes be blank and can't be entirely relied upon; however the ServerVariables["HTTP_REFERER"] or Request.UrlReferrer on Page3.aspx is showing Page1.aspx instead of Page2.aspx which I would have expected. Does the referring information only get set if the page displays to the user? Redirecting is done using Response.Redirect in order to change the URL in the address bar of the browser.

• Combining Content Data in Google Analytics

  When I first start one of my Wordpress blogs, I had the permanent URL for each post include the date of posting. The slug format looked like this: /blog/2010/01/25/this-is-my-article/ Later on, I changed it so that the date was not included in the permanent URL, like this: /blog/this-is-my-article/ and setup a redirect plugin to make sure that users would get to the page they wanted until the site was re-indexed. In Google Analytics, when I review the stats for content I now have multiple records for what is essentially the same page. ie: Top Content List: 45 Pageviews- /blog/this-is-my-article/ 24 Pageviews- /blog/2010/01/25/this-is-my-article/ 33 Pageviews- /blog/some-other-article/ Is there any way to combine those records somehow?

• Gaining Reference to the Dialog from Dialog content

  Here's my scenario: I've got a div on Page A. When an event happens (whatever I define, a click, whatever), I do a div.Dialog, set its properties and open it The data inside is returned from an async .ajax call that grabs the data from a url and appends it to the div by calling div.html(data) inside the .ajax callback, so it's essentially loading a PageB by getting the data (content) and appending it to the div that's calling the dialog("open")...nothing special here I don't think. My question: In Page B, how do I reference the dialog so I can do some things to it? For instance in Page B's content that I received back from that .ajax call and added to the div via .html(data), there is a button and when clicked I need to close the dialog. Right now my buttons are not working because one of them closes out the dialog and the other should redirect to a new page but both do not work now because I have no reference to the dialog that it's in to manipulate it.

  My app will have a regular domain - let's say example.com - which will have information about logging in, signing up, etc. It will also host numerous other domains dynamically. My app serves the webpage for these at http://example.com/site/foobar.com/ So, I need to redirect all requests where the hostname is not example.com to /site/[hostname]/ I'm writing this in Django and hosting with Apache. How do I set up a rewrite rule to do this? The user must not know they are on any other site but foobar.com and if the user browses to foobar.com/something - the URL must be rewritten to /site/foobar.com/something

• Google Adword not working /conversion.js not found

  I'm currently working on a wordpress site. My task is just to add the conversion script in a thankyou page. I added the script here: http://www.livingedge.co.nz/thanks-for-getting-in-touch/ , unfortunately does not work. It says that a conversion.js was not found. I'm new to this and can't figure out what would be the possible cause of such problem. I tried adding the script in the header, on the page editor, on a form redirect.   So i created a web site a long time ago using a designer alot like frontpage + expression design put together, and since then Ive gotten more into coding, and I'm learning html, CSS, and all that good stuff.. and i have this re-designed header that Ive made here: http://prntscr.com/8zct So what I need to know, is how i can get it so that when a user clicks on one of the links in the header design it will redirect to a page. and also if possible, how to make it so when a user hovers over a link a drop down may appear with other options. • MVC3 application I want javascript methods to fire on passed in route values

  I have an MVC3 application in Visual Studio 2010. I have a view with several dropdowns that do javascript calls to populate dropdowns based on the selected value, some of which are disabled initially. That all works great with the initial state of nothing. If I however pass routevalues to the dropdowns from a redirect to this action, I do get the value set correctly but it's not enabled like it should be on the dropdown for example and when I post the form, the ones that are greyed out are not passed back on the form. How can I correct this?

• Is it possible to obtain ASP.NET membership user name after FormsAuth.SignIn ?

  I have some code that is accessing Membership.GetUser() to get the current logged in user. This works fine until I try to access it immediately after logging in with FormsAuth.SignIn(userName, false); However I noticed that neither Membership.GetUser() nor User.Identity.Name is updated with the newly logged in user until a new request (I assume its reading directly from the Request cookies). This however kind of screws up my logic that accesses Membership.GetUser() becasue it introduces a special case. Question: is there a way to read the current logged in user with ASP.NET membership immediately after logging in. Or will I have to introduce my own abstraction layer to allow me to 'set' a user as being logged in ? (This is in an AJAX request - so i'd rather not do a redirect).

I have tried to use the WebBrowser control to open the new tab as well as tried to use the Script manager however I have not been able to open the new tab.   I just upgraded from rails 2.3.5 to rails 2.3.8, but now my redirects are not working properly. Despite the fact that the redirect is not working, the login-cookie is not set too (but I think, this is both related somehow). I have already tried to override redirect_to in order to set response.headers['Location'] etc., but they did not appear in the response.

  Hi, I have setup OpenVPN. All seems to be working fine except that Name Lookups are not done via the BIND DNS server on the server. I have added push "redirect-gateway def1" and push "dhcp-option DNS 10.8.0.1" to the OpenVPN server config. It does seem like this is being pushed to the Client. The problem however is that I believe the BIND DNS is not allowing the Client to connect and do name lookups. How do I go about configuring BIND to allow connections from the VPN clients?

  so if I do: dup2(0, backup); // backup stdin dup2(somefile, 0); // somefile has four lines of content fgets(...stdin); // consume one line fgets(....stdin); // consume two lines dup2(backup, 0); // switch stdin back to keyboard I am finding at this point.. stdin still contains the two lines I haven't consumed. Why is that? Because there is just one buffer no matter how many times you redirect? How do I get rid of the two lines left but still remember where I was in the somefile stream when I want to go back to it?

• Get a return value from a screen'd command

  I'm running a process in a screen (on Ubuntu 13.10, if it matters). I can execute a command within that screen with: screen -p 0 -X eval 'stuff \"$command\"\015' I'm not 100% sure what this command is doing to begin with, though it's functioning correctly. The reason behind it is I'm running a Minecraft server (still) and this screens in to the correct screen, and throws the command on the running command line. So that's good, so far. But what I'd like is to be able to run this command with a return value. So for example, if I were to run a "list" command, it'd tell me how many people and who is online, but I need to capture that output and put it somewhere. Anyone know of a way to accomplish this? I can't tell the minecraft server command line to redirect the output somewhere else since it doesn't have direct command line access, so the only way I could do this would be to grab all output of the screen while I'm connected ... but I'm not sure if that's possible.

Now I want to add another if statement that flashes an error if the email had been already taken, and redirects the user to the root_path I'm not very sure how to do this, Any suggestions? • Detecting when a process has finished (but not exited)

  I have a program that's run in unix (that I have no control over) that when finished prints 'Completed successfully' but does not exit. I want to automatically detect when the process finishes (by checking the output of the command), so that I can kill the process and so that I can proceed do other activities. The complexity comes because I want to be able to run multiples of these scripts concurrently. (One activity I need to do requires the script to be called with various inputs, but each time the script runs it takes a while to return, and so I want to do them in parallel) Has anyone done something similar to this? I could redirect the stderr and stdout output of the command to a temporary file which has a random file name, then tail the file and pipe to grep for the end conditions (I.e. the certain log lines). The problem is, surely tail -f would keep running, and so it would never exit. Should I poll? If so, what's the best approach?
