• IPhone Plain TableView Section Header Image and Getting Text on Two Lines

  Hello, this is my first question, so if I didn't do the tags correctly, I'm sorry. I tried... Well here is my question: I am hoping someone can tell me how to do a 2-line section header for a plain tableview. The problems I am having are: 1) I cannot find an image that will mimic that of the default 1-line section header. Can someone share one with me, or tell me how I can find one? 2) I cannot seem to get the section header text on two lines, since I am pulling it from the fetched results controller, a "field" (sorry if wrong terminology) that I custom defined on the class for my table. So this "field" has multiple field values in it, and I have no way to take them apart... Any help would be appreciated.

• Interface between two related JPA entities

  The scenario is as below (tables shown) Delivery table ------ id channelId type 10 100 fax 20 200 email Fax table ---- id number 100 1234567 101 1234598 Email table ----- id email 200 [email protected] 201 [email protected] basically a one to one relationship between the delivery and the channel entity but since each concrete channel(fax, email) has different members I want to create a generic interface (channel) between the two entities and use it for the @OneToOne relationship. Seems to me a simple scenario where lot of you might have already gone through but I'm unable to succeed. I tried putting that targetEntity thing but no use. Still says "delivery references an unknown entity" Any ideas? thanks in advance

• In NHibernate, how do I combine two DetachedCriteria instances

  My scenario is this: I have a base NHibernate query to run of the form (I've coded it using DetachedCriteria , but describe it here using SQL syntax): SELECT * FROM Items I INNER JOIN SubItems S on S.FK = I.Key The user interface to show the results of this join allows the user to specify additional criteria: Say: I.SomeField = 'UserValue'. Now, I need the final load command to be: SELECT * FROM Items I INNER JOIN SubItems S on S.FK = I.Key WHERE I.SomeField = 'UserValue' My problem is: I've created a DetachedCriteria with the 'static' aspect of the query (the top join) and the UI creates a DetachedCriteria with the 'dynamic' component of the query. I need to combine the two into a final query that I can execute on the NHibernate session. DefaultCriteria.Add() takes an ICriterion (which are created using the Expression class, and maybe other classes I don't know of which could be the solution to my problem). Does anyone know how I might do what I want?

I'm building a web api with Rails and wanted to see an example of how to have a view that does regular output vs one that does error output. • Comparing two Oracle schema, other users

  Hello! I have been tasked with comparing two oracle schema with a large number of tables to find the structural differences in the schema. Up until know I have used the DB Diff tool in Oracle SQL Developer, and it has worked very well. The issue is that now I need to compare tables in a user that I cannot log into , but I can see it through the other users section in SQL developer. The issue is that whenever I try to use the diff tool to compare those objects to the other schema it does not work. Does anyone have any idea how to do this? It would save me a very large amount of work. I have some basic SQL knowledge if that is whats needed. Thanks.

Ex: file.txt.81, file.txt.82, etc. Now, these files are in different directories: data1/file.txt.81 data1/file.txt.82 data2/file2.txt.81 data2/file2.txt.82 How can I have rsync get only the *.82 files and not even touch the other files 2: Now I have a similar data directory structure as above. Some of the new features include Maven Integration (via M2E, a new project with this release), support for Hudson (via Mylyn), as well as the integration of EclipseLink 2.3 (which does multitenancy and more, see release page, blog). Support for Java 7 is expected for the September update release. The "Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers" bundle is 210 MB. Support for GlassFish is available today as well! The GlassFish plugin now offers the ability to deploy to remote running GlassFish instances and supports version 3.0.x and 3.1.x (including recent promoted builds).   Wondering if its possible to create a short simple and sweet cross-browser jQuery (1.6) function that would split #textarea1 content into two by preserving the characters that amount to less than its var maxlength limit and transfering the remaining characters that exceed its maxlength limit in #textarea2. #textarea1 can push excedant in #textarea2, but if #textarea1 contains less than the maxlength limit, by default it wont get filled up with #textarea2 content, but you would have the option programatically to override this. I am just beginning to scratch the surface of jQuery but I noticed that this simple javascript can nearly do the trick, minus the free-flowing character movement. Scratching my head on this one.   One of my tables has a two-column primary key: CREATE TABLE tournament ( state CHAR(2) NOT NULL, year INT NOT NULL, etc..., PRIMARY KEY(state, year) ); I want a reference to the tournament table from another table, but I want this reference to be nullable. Here's how I might do it, imagining that a winner doesn't necessarily have a tournament: CREATE TABLE winner ( name VARCHAR NOT NULL, state CHAR(2) NULL, year INT NULL ); If state is null but year is not, or vice-versa, the table would be inconsistent. I believe the following FOREIGN KEY constraint fixes it: ALTER TABLE winner ADD CONSTRAINT FOREIGN KEY fk (name, state) REFERENCES tournament (name, state); Is this the proper way of enforcing consistency? Is this schema properly normalized?

The other contains a bunch of working hours for each employee. I would like to use a table for the list of employees, and then have another table for the working hours beneath each employee (with their working hours). Is this even possible? For each QuestionNum, I must get the actual question text, based on QuestionId. BusUnitId, QuestionId ParticipantId, QuestionId Now assuming records with QuestionNum from 1 to 6. BusUnitQuestions has 3 records, so QuestionNum 1 to 3 must join to Question on the QuestionId's from BusUnitQuestions, and QuestionNum 4 to 6 must join to Question on the QuestionId's from ParticipantQuestions. I assume I need to use ROW_NUMBER() in the subquery from BusUnitQuestions to join to my answer table, but I'm lost after that. If anyone at all understands me, do you have any suggestions?

• How to CompareTo two Object without known about their real type

  I have to implement a one linked list but it should put object in appropriate position. Everything was OK when I use it in conjunction with specific class, but when I tried make it universal and argument of method insert was Object some problem appeared. When I want to input Object in right position I should use CompareTo method, but there isn't method in Object class! The problem is how to compare two object elements without known about their real types. Maybe I should use generic class type? But what about CompareTo? Or maybe combine with Element class and place CompareTo there? I suppose it is feasible. :) public void insert(Object o) { Element el = new Element(o); // initializing and setting iterators while(!it.isDone() && ((it.current().getValue())).CompareTo(o)<0) // it.current() returns Element of List { //move interators } //... }
