  • DataView.RowFilter an ISO8601

    I have a DataTable (instance named: TimeTable) whose DefaultView (instance named: TimeTableView) I am trying to use to filter based on a date. Column clock_in contains an ISO8601 formatted string. I would like to select all the rows in this DataTable/DefaultView between 2009-10-08T08:22:02Z and 2009-10-08T20:22:02Z. What would I have to filter on this criteria? I tried: TimeTableView = TimeTable.DefaultView; TimeTableView.RowFilter = "clock_in >= #2009-10-08T08:22:02Z# and #2009-10-08T20:22:02Z#"; This is not working for me. Am I operating on the wrong object or is my filter syntax wrong?

    Hi everybody, Here it's my problem I've a list of the following measure : src1 dst2 24th december 2009 src1 dst3 22th december 2009 src1 dst2 18th december 2009 I would like to have just the latest measures with a sql request - 2 first lines in my case because the pairs(src and dst) aren't the same. I try to use DISTINCT but I have just the 2 first columns and I will all columns. I try too GROUP BY but I hadn't success. Anyone can help me ? Thx Narglix

  • Cannot open SQL 2005 database in SQL server Management Studio 2008 R2 on Windows 7

    I have Windows 7 64bit as my OS + SQL Server 2008 R2 installed. I can connect to SQL Databases (2008), but cannot connect to a SQL 2005 database. I can, however, connect to the 2005 SQL Database on a PC that has Windows XP as the OS and also has SQL Server 2008 R2 installed. So it seems that it works fine on XP but not on Windows 7 (32 or 64bit). is this an Operating System issue?   • Jasper Reports - Add one day to a Date Parameter

    I'm creating a Jasper report that includes the following parameters: DATESTART (Date) DATEEND (Date) These parameters indicate a date range for a field called DATECREATED (Timestamp) which includes times. I would like the date range to be INCLUSIVE, that is, if I filter for "Jan 1, 2009" to "Jan 31, 2009", any DATECREATED value on Jan 31, 2009 (such as "Jan 31, 2009 15:00") will be included in the report. When I used Crystal Reports in the past, I used the DATEADD function to create a filter expression like the following: {DATECREATED} >= {DATESTART} and {DATECREATED} < DATEADD("d", 1, {DATEEND}) (I realize that this isn't syntactically correct, but you get the idea.) Is there any way to do something similar in Jasper Reports?

  • Option do not show schema names in SQL Server Management Studio

    I love the fact that tree and list controls in Windows allows incremental searches. Just select a starting point, and type, and the control will select the best matching node for you. This works in SSMS, but there's an annoying problem, especially so in the table node. SSMS prefixes all table names with the schema name and a dot. To make an incremental search here, I have to type 'dbo.', followed by whatever I'm searching for. Is there an option to turn off this table name representation in SSMS? I hope I'm asking this on the right stack exchange site. If you feel it's off base, let me know!

  • Can't get PHP script to run when launched from Aptana Studio

    I've been using notepad++ for web development (currently html, css, and some php and mysql). I decided to dive into an IDE to see if I could cut down on development time and have more power than notepad++. I grabbed Aptana yesterday and, after harassing it for a few hours, have finally gotten everything up and running. The only problem is that my web pages, which are .php's, do not execute any of their included .php code in the browser. as an example: <?php echo "IT WORKS WOOO"; ?> ought to print IT WORKS WOOO smack in the middle of my blank test page, and yet it does not. I checked to see if I had somehow forgotten how to do an echo statement and ran it on my desktop, using notepad++, and it worked just fine. I have the php plugin, have used the php perspective to write it and have launched it as a php web page, but nothing makes it execute the php within. Any ideas?

  • Dell Studio XPS 16 Runs Hot

    Specs: 1920x1080 i7 1.6 GHz quad core 6GB RAM 1GB ATI Radeon HD 6570M/5700 Series 500GB 7200rpm Hard Drive Love this laptop for many reasons, but it constantly runs hot (CPU is low 70s with basic tasks and often 80+ is not uncommon) and I'm finding it too much to deal with. The laptop feels very hot (almost too hot for a lap) and often gets so hot that the OS slows down or freezes altogether. I've tried cleaning it out and even replacing the thermal paste. I often use an external cooler, but it only helps 3-5 degrees and it's a pain to have to use. I've come to the conclusion that it just runs hot. I have two questions: What is to blame? The i7 processor, the gfx card, or is it just that this laptop has poor cooling? Does the Dell XPS 15 run cooler? I'm looking at replacing my current laptop, but I don't want to run into the same problem.

    Hi all, I'm stuck on a MDX query, I'm trying to retrieve the following results: [Time].[2009] [Time].[2010] [Time].[Months].Members [Measures].[Sales] [Measures].[Sales] So I would like to compare the sales which were in 2009 against 2010 by month. In terms of a chart I would have two series one for 2009 and 2010, the y axis would be the sales value and the x axis would be the month. Any ideas on how to approach this? Thanks in advance

    I'm playing around with the Lahman Baseball Database in a MySQL instance. I want to find the players who topped home runs (HR) for each year. The Batting table has the following (relevant parts) of its schema: +-----------+----------------------+------+-----+---------+-------+ | Field | Type | Null | Key | Default | Extra | +-----------+----------------------+------+-----+---------+-------+ | playerID | varchar(9) | NO | PRI | | | | yearID | smallint(4) unsigned | NO | PRI | 0 | | | HR | smallint(3) unsigned | YES | | NULL | | +-----------+----------------------+------+-----+---------+-------+ For each year, every player has an entry (between hundreds and 12k per year, going back to 1871). Getting the top N hitters for a single year is easy: SELECT playerID,yearID,HR FROM Batting WHERE yearID=2009 ORDER BY HR DESC LIMIT 3; +-----------+--------+------+ | playerID | yearID | HR | +-----------+--------+------+ | pujolal01 | 2009 | 47 | | fieldpr01 | 2009 | 46 | | howarry01 | 2009 | 45 | +-----------+--------+------+ But I'm interested in finding the top 3 from every year. I've found solutions like this, describing how to select the top from a category and I've tried to apply it to my problem, only to end up with a query that never returns: SELECT b.yearID, b.playerID, b.HR FROM Batting AS b LEFT JOIN Batting b2 ON (b.yearID=b2.yearID AND b.HR <= b2.HR) GROUP BY b.yearID HAVING COUNT(*) <= 3; Where have I gone wrong?

    Hi, Due to the lack of Deployment functionality of Visual Studio Express edition, I'm here asking if anyone can recommend a very nice free Deployment template for the express edition. I'm mainly working with C# desktop project. I know that there is still ClickOnce deployment in the Express edition, but it seems to me that it is not so difficult to control, which means, you do "click once", then the tool will give you a bunch of files out of my control, not so easy to maintain.     Hello, I'm writing a customized reflective library for some specialized custom domain logic, and that library is going to use XML configuration files that will dynamically resolve System.Type objects at runtime. However, when writing the XML configuration files, it's a bit of a pain to write the types because they need to be fully qualified assembly names for Type.GetType() to resolve them. Is there a way to find out the AssemblyQualifiedName of an object in Visual Studio without resorting to writing a program to print them out to a file or standard out or anything like that ?

  • Dreamweaver regular expression substitution followed by number

    Hi. I'm using Dreamweaver to update copyright dates across my site. I want to preserve the existing spacing (or lack thereof) between years. Examples: © 2002-2008 should update to © 2002-2009 © 2003 - 2008 should update to © 2003 - 2009 This is the regular expression I'm using to accomplish this in Dreamweaver's find & replace function Find: ©\s*(\d{4}\s*-\s*)\d{3}[^9] Replace: © $1 2009 Here's the PROBLEM: This expression works, but has that that extra space between the hyphen and 2009. If I write the replace expression without the space, as © $12009 then dreamweaver looks for the 12,009th substitution in the find expression, and, not finding one, prints $12009. Any ideas?
