  I have the following xaml with all the binding removed; <StackPanel Grid.Row="2" Grid.Column="1" Orientation="Horizontal" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Height="20"> <ComboBox x:Name="ddlDay" Width="30"/> If I set the width of the combobox to 200 it works but if I set it to 50 it doesn't size past the default. I'm kinda new to xaml so is this default behavior or what do I do to make the combobox small?

Do you just throw it all together and then tweak it based on user experience once the application is live? Or do you pass it to a specific usability team for testing prior to release?   Ok, I wanting to database a small library. I've only had limmited experience with databeses, and vnone with queerying a websever. I'm going to want to retrieve information like title, Publisher, maybe author, desciption the simplest way i can think of dooing this is looking them up via the isbn. I'm wondering how I should go about doing this. I've coma across isbndb.com before, but the api for accessing it seems rather complex.

  Hi all, I have a server currently running RHEL 5.1, and I would like to upgrade it to RHEL 5.4. The server is not connected to the Internet, so I don't think I can use "yum update". How would I be able to upgrade my server, and is it just a small-scale upgrade, like Windows patches, leaving everything on the server intact, or would it delete everything that was on the server?   I'm working on a small (java) project where a website needs to maintain a (preferably comma-separated) list of registered e-mail addresses, nothing else, and be able to check if an address is in the list. I have no control over the hosting or the server's lack of database support. Prevayler seemed a good solution, but the website is a ghost town, with example code missing from just about everywhere it's supposed to be, so I'm a little wary.   I'm writing an iPad app that acts as a media player (video and photos). I know there is a 2GB size limit on apps, however is this the size limit on an app when downloaded? Or the limit on the size of your sandbox throughout the life of the app? For example what if my small app later on downloads various media files to its sandbox that put the user over 2GB total (app + downloaded media)? Thanks!

  I am trying to detect which web in sharepoint that the user is looking at right now. One approach could be to read the URls from the browser and try to compare them to a reference URL to the sharepoint solution. I have not yet been able to locate any solution that works in both IE and Firefox. The idea is to write a small C# app that will harvest the URLs and do the comparing. TIA

  I'm currently working on a project where we'd like to allow a user to export their data to CSV. Some of the data we present has multiple values for a single cell, and so we use the standard CSV method of putting each value on its own line: Column A, Column B, Column C Value A, "Value B1 Value B2", Value C Most of the time this works fine, but some people are reporting seeing a small question mark in a box character appear at the end of each line when they load the file in Excel. Why is this happening?

• Can I use a previous version of iText(Sharp) under the LGPL?

  I have a web app that currently is inserting x (between 1 + 40) records into a table that contains about 5 fields, via a linq-2-sql-stored procedure in a loop. Would it be better to manually write the SQL Inserts to say a string builder and run them against the database when the loops completed rather than 30 transactions? or should I just accept this is negligible for such a small number of inserts.
