• Double Loaded event in WPF

  I had some difficulties with bindng data to custom controll's value made by someone else so i used "Loaded" event to assign control's value during, but i've noticed that this event is fired up twice. How can i find out what's firing that event? (VS2008) Or mayby any solution would be expected :)

  Hi I'm looking for a slide effect for a navigation. But in my opinion the slide effect of jQuery is a little strange, or doesn't really fit my needs. The list items kind of appear but aren't animated (the container is only animated) when I apply the slideDown,slideUp,toggleSlide effect. I would like to have the list items animated as well. • Custom Map using iPhone MapKit

  I am attempting to use MapKit to create a custom map (similar to this concept http://mapwow.com/) using an image instead of the google maps image. This is so we can include the gps functionality and the pins functionality. I have looked in the documentation and there does not appear to be a standard way of doing it. Is there a way to do this using MapKit or has someone found a way to achieve something similar?

Does someone know about an algorithm that will tell me in numbers/float/procent how much two names are identical. Levenstein distance is not good in this approach, as names and our adddress books are matching the begining of each of the name sections.   I'm writing a script that is supposed to run around a bunch of servers and select a bunch of data out of them, including the local server. The SQL needed to SELECT the data I need is pretty complicated, so I'm writing sort of an ad-hoc view, and using an OPENQUERY statement to get the data, so ultimately I end up looping over a statement like this: exec('INSERT INTO tabl SELECT * FROM OPENQUERY(@Server, @AdHocView)') However, I've heard that using OPENQUERY on the local server is frowned upon. Could someone elaborate as to why?
