    I have a tuple of tuples (Name, val 1, val 2, Class) tuple = (("Jackson",10,12,"A"), ("Ryan",10,20,"A"), ("Michael",10,12,"B"), ("Andrew",10,20,"B"), ("McKensie",10,12,"C"), ("Alex",10,20,"D")) I need to return all combinations using itertools combinations that do not repeat classes. How can I return combinations that dont repeat classes. For example, the first returned statement would be: tuple0, tuple2, tuple4, tuple5 and so on.

    Hello, .NET 4.0 I am looking for the easiest way to generate a Word document on our server. Limitations : Server side I don't want to install word on the server Data source is XML I tried to generate a DOCX with XSLT which is fast and easy but the only way I could find to validate the generated document is to open it with Word and the only error I get when the document is not valid is "Error while opening document". In order to validate function's name (that will be used in an eval statement) I use function_exists such as: if(function_exists($type)){ $toEval= $type.'(\''.$file.'\');'; }else{ But if the arg sent is include or require (with 'once' variations) this code fails (function_exists returns false).     I'm trying to get a new installation of Mythbuntu working. So far, everything is OK except the remote. The sensor for the remote is on my Hauppauge WinTV HVR 1250. Any suggestions on how to fix or further diagnose this?

I was surprised not to find anything on the web addressing the problem, so I thought I’d write a short post about it. It really is very simple once you know where to look.   • Recieving and organizing results without server side script (JavaScript)

    I have been working on a very large form project for the past few days. I finally managed to get tables to work properly within a javascript file that opens a new display window. Now the issue at hand is that I can't seem to get CSS code to work within the javascript that I have created. Before everyone starts thinking "just use server side script idiot" I have a few conditions and info about the file: The file is only being ran local due to confidential information risks. Once again no option for server access. The intranet the computers are on are already top security and this wouldn't exactly be a company wide program The code below is obviously just a demo with a simple form...   • jQuery live draggable / live droppable?

    Hi all, Basically there are two tables: Companies and visitors. Currently it's possible to drag visitors to companies. Works great. As soon as the drop function occurs, there are two $.post's. The first one saves the drag to the database. The second one updates the visitors, because the information constantly changes. The problem, however is that as soon as the second $.post finishes, Firebug keeps popping the following error: d(this).data("draggable") is null Which occurs in the jQuery UI file. On line 56. about 400 times or so. So basically I'm looking for a way to do live() with draggable and droppable. The .draggables are in #visitors (an ul). The droppables are in #companies (a table).   • How do I pass a custom field to a hook (Invision Power Board [ipb] / PHP)

    A long shot but here's hoping someone has some experience coding PHP hooks for Invisions Power Board forum. I'm attempting to code a status addition and the PHP works fine on it's own, it's the passing of the IPB's reference to my hook that is the issue. I.E. You setup a custom field in your forum for MSN Username, then from within a skin / template hook you pass the custom field to the hook and then use your PHP code to check on the status. Here is the IPB skin code I am hooking into on Global-userInfoPane... <if test="authorcfields:|:$author['custom_fields'] != """> <foreach loop="customFieldsOuter:$author['custom_fields'] as $group => $data"> <foreach loop="customFields:$author['custom_fields'][ $group ] as $field"> <if test="$field != ''"> <li> {$field} </li> </if> </foreach> </foreach> </if> Although I could easily add my own skin hook here. i.e. <if test="myHookHere:|:1===1"></if> Literally all I need is a single custom field entry from here passed to my hook. If I query every member when the hook is run then that will result in many extra sql queries per page view. All I want to do is pass that specific custom field to the hook... i.e. myHookHere( $customfield['msn_username'] ) Is this possible? How do you reference the customfield? Can I execute pure PHP from here? Appreciate anyone that can help! I tried the official invision forums but not had much luck.

  • Javascript or CSS hover not working in Safari and Chrome

    I have a problem with a script for a image gallery. The problem seems to only occur on Safari and Chrome, but if I refresh the page I get it to work correctly - weird! Correct function: The gallery has a top bar, which if you hover over it, it will display a caption. Below sits the main image. At the bottom there is another bar that is a reversal of the top bar. When you hover over it, it will display thumbnails of the gallery. The problem: In Safari and Chrome, the thumbnail holder will not display. In fact, it doesn't even show it as an active item (or a rollover). But oddly enough, if you manually refresh the page it begins to work correctly for the rest of the time you view the page. Once you have left the page and return the same error occurs again and you have to go through the same process. So what I need is a possibility to call a method on the backing-bean. Additionally, this method should be called with a car id as its parameter.     I am currently trying to hook up jQuery UI dialog so that I may use it to create new items to my page and to modify ones existing already on the page. I managed in the former. I'm currently struggling in the latter problem, however. I just cannot find a nice way to pass the item to modify to the dialog. Here's some code to illustrate the issue better. Note especially the part marked with XXX.   • Kohana 3: How to find the active item in a dynamic menu

    Maybe not the best explanation, but hear me out. Say I have the following in a config file called menu.php: // Default controller is 'home' and default action is 'index' return array( 'items' => array( 'Home' => '', 'News' => 'news', 'Resources' => 'resources', ), ); I now want to print this out as a menu, which is pretty simple: foreach(Kohana::config('menu.items') as $title => $uri) { echo '<li>' . HTML::anchor($uri, $title) . '</li>'; } However, I want to find the $uri that matches the current controller and action. And if the action is the default one or not. What I want to end up with is that menu item should have id="active-item" if it is the linking to the current controller, but the default action. And id="active-subitem if it is linking to the current controller and the action is not the default one. Hope that made sense... Anyone able to help me out here? Both in how to do this in Kohana 3 and also how it should be done in Kohana 3. I'm sure there are lots of ways, but yeah... any help is welcome :) Examples: domain.com -- Home should be active-item since it is the default controller domain.com/home -- Home should be active-item domain.com/home/index -- Home should be active-item since index is the default action domain.com/resources -- Resources should be active-item domain.com/resources/get/7 -- Resources should be active-subitem since get is not the default action

  • jQuery Cycle plugin pagerAnchorBuilder images becoming undefined

    I have a slideshow built in flash that I want to mimic in jQuery. The slide show uses the images from the slideshow as the pager numbers. The problem im having is once i apply links to the slideshow images the pagerAnchorBuilder image returns an undefined for the src of the image. Im not sure if this is a bug or something i need to find a fix for?

  • nVelocity - Template issue when attempting 'greater than' comparison on decimal property

    I have a simple object that has as one of it's properties a decimal named Amount. When I attempt a comparison on this property as part of an nVelocity template, the comparison always fails. If I change the property to be of type int the comparison works fine. Is there anything extra I need to add to the template for the comparison to work?     I'm trying to set up a page that will allow users to download files from a shared drive (where the file is actually sent via the page). So far this is what I have. public partial class TestPage : System.Web.UI.Page { protected DirectoryInfo dir; protected FileInfo[] files; protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { dir = new DirectoryInfo(Server.MapPath(@"\\sharedDrive\Public")); files = dir.GetFiles(); } } The aspx page looks kind of like this: <% Response.Write(System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent().Name); %> <ul> <% foreach (System.IO.FileInfo f in files) { Response.Write("<li>" + f.FullName + "</li>"); } %> </ul> When I remove the erroneous parts of the code, the page tells me that the Windows Identity I'm using is my user (which has access to the drive). I don't understand what the problem could be or what it's even complaining about.
