  • Spring/Eclipse 'referenced bean not found' warning when using <import>?

    I have just broken up a Spring bean configuration file into smaller external files and have used the the "import" directive to include them in my Spring Test application context XML file. But whenever I reference one of the beans from the imported files I get a warning within Eclipse/STS/Spring XML editor complaining that "referenced bean 'foo' not found" Is this is a bug or is it me? It's really annoying because I don't want to disable the warning, yet at my company we try to eliminate all warnings.

  • Optimize MySQL query (ngrams, COUNT(), GROUP BY, ORDER BY)

    I have a database with thousands of companies and their locations. I have implemented n-grams to optimize search. I am making one query to retrieve all the companies that match with the search query and another one to get a list with their locations and the number of companies in each location. The query I am trying to optimize is the latter. Maybe the problem is this: Every company ('anunciante') has a field ('estado') to make logical deletes. So, if 'estado' equals 1, the company should be retrieved. When I run the EXPLAIN command, it shows that it goes through almost 40k rows, when the actual result (the reality matching companies) are 80. How can I optimize this? My only issue is that I can't seem to find how to implement SAML in C# 2.0. I've been able to find a few examples for .Net 3.0 and 3.5, but none for 2.9 (and the classes they use don't appear to be available in 2.0). Does anyone know of any oline examples using SAML and C# 2.0?

    I'm currently working on my company's in-house CMS and wish to add the ability for an admin to view the site on a specific date. This will allow admins to preview the site with archived or scheduled posts. I'd like to avoid finding all mentions of date() or time() and offsetting them. Is there a way of making PHP think it's a specific date so that all calls to date() default to the new time? Thank you

    I have a problem in my project that i am displaying a activity which would contain the details of the project which is previously added in Project Management System.. Now the fields in it are like: Fields of the Activity Name Of Project: ABC(EditText) Name Of Developer : ________(Spinner) Deadline : ________(Date Picker) Created On : _______(TextView) . . Now, the Spinner contains the Names of all developers working in the Company..I have used the ArrayAdapter with a array having the names of all the developers which is fetched from the database.. The problem is that when i update the Name Of Developer field, i get Only the Name of the Developer which is not enough to update the data as their can be multiple developers with the same name in the Company..So now I require the id of the developers to update it.. How to store that id of the developers with the Spinner so that i can achieve this.. Please help me to sort this out. Actually what i want to do like is as that we do in html:: <select> <option id="1">Developer1</option> <option id="2">Developer2</option> <option id="3">Developer2</option> <option id="4">Developer2</option> </select> where the id attached would be the database id....I want to imitate this in our android....     I don't know much about SSL, but I've read something and I was wondering if it's possible to intercept the communication between client and server (for example, a company can monitor employees data transfer?). I thought it was a difficult task, but it looks like that it is very simple. When a client requests a https connection the router can be instructed to intercept the key exchange and send to the server and the client it's own public keys (further it can encode/decode the hole traffic). Is it true, or I'm misunderstanding something?

  • Dealing with personal failure

    A while ago I was given the task of updating and extending the functionality of a software project. I was given a year to make the needed changes working solo. A month into development I came to the conclusion that it would take longer to change the existing product than to rewrite it from the ground up. I'd never attempted a complete rewrite so I talked with my boss about it and he was thrilled with the idea. I'm a fan of agile development but had never had the opportunity to take advantage of all of the prescribed practices so when I set to work I tried to incorporate as many as I could. I didn't have direct access to the customer and my coworkers (non-programmers) knew the business domain but were already so busy they didn't really have time to participate in design meetings so I resigned to working in the dark and occasionally calling one of them over to my desk to get feedback on my progress. I used TDD and refactored mercilessly and even tried taking a domain driven design approach. Things went well for a while. As the deadline came closer and the complexity of the project grew my productivity start slipping. I found myself cutting corners and ignoring the practices I had established as the pressure increased to meet the deadline. I also started working late nights and weekends to keep up with the load. In the end it made little difference how hard I worked. The project missed its deadline and what was completed wasn't enough to give to the customer. I had failed. Not only had I not finished on time but the previous version had sat untouched for almost a year so it wouldn't be of any help. Luckily we had another product that offered some of the same functionality. My boss decided to cancel the project entirely and moved all our orphaned customers to the other product. I spent weeks (along with everyone else at the company) manning the phones providing technical support for those customers. After it was all over, my boss was gracious enough not to fire me for nearly ruining the company. I was moved to the other product and have been trying to redeem myself ever since. Where did I go wrong? Has anyone else had to deal with this kind of defeat? How did you recover?

I've found some webkit-specific samples, but I'm battling to find any decent code samples that even work at all in Firefox 3.6 For a sample, I'd be happy with something that works with the following: Our company uses jquery extensively so I'd prefer samples that use that library or pure javascript. It should at least work on firefox (3.6+ is fine) Can anyone point me to some links that provide some guidance and code samples?

However, i noticed that when i run my reports, it does not show the last record for every group (even though this total line is in the Group Footer). Is there anyway in the formula field, i can specify that the last record must show for every group in my report?
