  • Accessing Custom Configurations in NUnit class

    I'm really banging my head onto this one. I can't make the Custom Configuration to work with NUnit. It kept on failing to read the configuration file. I followed carefully this article: http://devlicio.us/blogs/derik_whittaker/archive/2006/11/13/app-config-and-custom-configuration-sections.aspx placed the references in the Unit test class App.Config, still everything failed. Is there some sort of a magic setting to do here?

  • Incoming traffic while on public network

    I'm developing a web app and I need to be able to get incoming traffic from 3rd party services I use. This is a classic webhooks situation: I send a request with a return address and receive the response (via HTTP) some time later to the given address. The simple solution would be to provide my external IP address and forward the incoming traffic from the router to my machine. However, I'm working in a large office and I cannot control the router configuration. I'm looking for a different way to achieve that. I do have servers online. I can have a daemon running on one of those servers, which will handle the incoming traffic. I can run a parallel daemon on my machine, which will keep an open connection with the remote daemon (over ssh preferred) and when an inbound traffic is received by the remote, it will send it to the local, which will send it to the correct port on my machine, as if it was received in the natural way. Is there any ready-made solution for that? PS. I'm on OS X and my server is Ubuntu. Thanks, zvikico

  • Help ! Flex Local connection

    Hi all , i was building an application that use local connection and listens to another application that also uses local connection , the second application is sort of remote control for the first app. it invokes function of the listening app from outside. anyway , everything works good on local host. BUT once i have put the listening app on a server and try to work it , it does not connect anymore. any idea's? Thanks

  • Progressively transparent image with CSS3?

    I want images that gradually "gradient" to blend in with the background color (white/transparent) as it gets to the bottom. Is there a way I can apply a CSS3 gradient or some sort of gradual transparency using CSS3 to the bottom edges of the image so it looks like its fading into the background color? I know I can make images with some photoeditor to achieve that effect, but I am curious to know if CSS3 can accomplish it.

  • Why is my CSS overriding the CSS in the Wrapper?

    I'm trying to figure out why the text in the left navigation panel on the following page is shrinking & underlining when you mouseover in Firefox. http://fundcentre.newireland.ie/ Everything on the left & top is part of a wrapper that we inject our content into. Our content is everything from "FUND CENTRE" down. Can someone suggest something I could do to sort this issue out? Thanks.

  • C# code cleaning/auditing tool (stand-alone outside of the IDE).

    Does anyone know of a stand-alone tool for C# code cleaning/auditing that can run outside of Visual Studio IDE so as to be part of a build. Or if that isn't possible can someone provide some guidance as to how to make Visual Studio part of a build process -- by that I mean it would be nice to run the IDE's Sort and Remove unused using statements on all files as part of the build, but even better would be an exe that can read the .sln, or .csproj and do the job as part of build system.   • Ext JS - Can I 'chain' methods on a field ??

    HI, I am just trying to set a field value and disable it at the same time. Can this be done in ext js? The docs are very weak on this subject. something like this generates errors: myForm.getForm().findField('start_date').setValue('').setDisabled(true); I'm used to JQuery which does this sort of thing nicely but haven't had luck with Ext.     Hi all, I came cross a question in my interview. Question: Array of integers will be given as the input and you should find out the middle element when sorted , but without sorting. For Example. Input: 1,3,5,4,2 Output: 3 When you sort the given input array, it will be 1,2,3,4,5 where middle element is 3. You should find this in one pass without sorting. Any solutions for this?

  • Displaying Data on the Windows Form

    I'm searching files and returning lines that include the search text, and I'm not really sure the best way to display the information I get. Every time I get a match, I want to show, in some sort of control, the File it came from, and the whole text line. (aka streamreader.ReadLine() result). First I tried just putting it all in a read-only text box, but it doesn't have a scroll bar. What is the best form control to help me display this data neatly?

    i am doing a delete with a LIKE statement my keybuffer is 25m, the sort buffer size is 256k the delete has been taking over 2 hours should i increase memory usage? there are about 50 megs of data in the table from which i am deleting, thats about 500,000 rows is there anything else i can do on the adminsitration size to speed up this delete?
