  • Why not use a WAMP stack?

    I recently had a talk with some experienced people and they suggested to me not to use a WAMP stack, and instead install apache, mysql and php separately. I don't understand why they have suggested this, though, so can anyone tell me? Is there a particular disadvantage of WAMP, or a particular advantage to installing all of them separately? Since a WAMP stack itself is composed of apache, mysql and php, then what's the difference between using the WAMP stack and installing them all separately?

    i have laptop hp dv6 with processor core2due hard 320 and video card intel 1 giga every time i try to play game i have to make it not on the full screen if its on the full sreen its stopped and get down to the windows bar try to get up it go down again i try this with many games its the same i try to decrease the screen or the game resolution its the same too i try to download the last version of direct x the same thing i use windows 7 so can any one help

  • 550 relay not permitted

    We are using Fogbugz on our server to do customer support emails. Occasionally we get errors coming back when sending emails which say: 550 relay not permitted This seems to happen at random though, sometimes sending an email to a person works, next time to the same person it'll bounce back. I've tried setting up reverse DNS with the server host and creating the SPF record in GoDaddy but we still get some of these errors. Is there anything else I can do, and is there a way of testing these are actually configured correctly?

    my problem is about Ip Address which I am receiving on the windows system snmp-trap messages,is some thing like that UDP: [192.168.1.150]:1029->[0.0.0.0]:0 while same trap message on linux system has been displayed as UDP: [192.168.1.150]:1030->[192.168.1.23] Now,if you observed carefully these two ,its clearly shown that server ip is not coming in windows traps-Ip([0.0.0.0]:0).what would be the possible reason?please anyone can help me about understanding this & can provide the solution for this problem.

  • Virtual Machine Library not updating

    Hi, I have a problem with my library window. I use to have a XP VM, which I deleted and now have a Vista VM. Every time I start Fusion, the XP VM shortcut will still be in the library (File not found), and the Vista VM won't be. I have tried re-installing Fusion but the same XP shortcut keeps coming up. Fusion doesn't seem to be updating the list of VM I currently have for some reason. Any ideas? Lots of thanks Jeremy

  • I can not start Eclipse anymore

    Today, I can not start Eclipse anymore. It worked fine yesterday, then I got a few Windows Updates before turning off the computer. When I start Eclipse 3.4 today, the UAC ask me for the Administrator password, and then the Eclipse Splash shows up for a short while, after that nothing more happens. And If I try to start Eclipse 3.5, the same thing happens except the UAC. What can the problem be? How can I solve this?

I uninstall the old SDk and double click the .dmg file then i got a popup stating that "The following Disk Images couldnt found" and "xcode_3.2.2.2_and_iPhone_SDK_3.2_final.dmg is not recognized".     I have set auth basic in nginx and blocked other ips like: location / { auth_basic "Restricted Area"; auth_basic_user_file .htpasswd; allow 127.0.0.1; deny all; } I can login using the username/password provided in .htpasswd but the error log in nginx shows errors like: user "memcache" was not found in "/etc/nginx/.htpasswd" no user/password was provided for basic authentication Any suggestion why this occurs and how to get rid of it ?

  • WSUS is not using Akamai CDN for syncronisation source

    I've just installed a WSUS onto our network, and I'm currently doing the initial sync. I've found that WSUS does not seem to be talking to an Akamai cache, but rather with MS directly. This is contrary to what I've always thought regarding Windows Update traffic. Tcpdump of our WSUS server doing initial sync... As you can see it's speaking with 65.55.194.221. For me to speak to this IP, I have to go over international transit links. But it seems like I shouldn't have to do this. NOTE: I've haven't confirmed if a WUA speaks with Akamai, just looking at WSUS as all WUAs will use our internal WSUS from now on. We'll be looking to join an IX shortly with the hopes of peering with an Akamai cache and have very fast access to Windows Updates. Before I let this drive my motivations for an IX at all I want to first confirm it's actually possible for WSUS to speak with an Akamai cache. I know this is somewhat networking related, but I feel like it has more to do with WSUS than anything, so someone who knows WSUS better than me will likely be able to figure this out.

  • clients auto-lock feature for inactvity timeout not working

    In our sbs 2003 domain environment, the clients' pc's inactive for default period will be locked out automatically and only Ctrl+ Alt + Del & client password combination will unlock the client's pcs. Recently around 9 months before, all our client's pc's joined the new sbs 2011 but (usually all are locking with Win+L key combination manually)the auto lock feature is not working from the beginning onwards. Now only I am brought up with this issue by clients. Please help me set that option!

When restart my linux the above command is not working and it show unknown command "JAVA_PATH", I can't able to boot in GUI mode, I can boot only in terminal mode, How to delete the file (.bash_profile in /root) ?     From the PowerShell prompt: \Windows\system32\mspaint.exe will run Paint. So will Invoke-Expression -command "\Windows\system32\mspaint.exe" but if there is a space in the path PowerShell spits the dummy e.g. Invoke-Expression -command "\install\sub directory\test.bat" Which complains: The term '\install\sub' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. What am I missing?

    I followed Windows instructions, and turned on several parts of IIS. But http://localhost isn't working, and I don't see the IIS entry in Administrative Tools either. I only want to use SSI, not ASP(.net) or FTP. What should I check and why isn't it working? It didn't ask me to restart Windows, is that required?
