  Hello Good People, I've built an WPF application with visual studio 2008 and created an installer for it.Works fine so far.I realized it lacks the automatic updates feature, and after trying several solutions, i decided to give a try to clickonce deployment.After a successful deployment on a network server, i 've noticed that the application crashes after installation of the downloaded app.It complains about this: Cannot create instance of 'Login' defined in assembly 'MyApplication, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.   My web service is receiving xml from a third party that looks like this: <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"> <SOAP-ENV:Body> &lt;Foo&gt;bar&lt;/Foo&gt; </SOAP-ENV:Body> </SOAP-ENV:Envelope> My jaxws web service rejects this with a parsing error. Also if I try to validate this xml using soapui it says Body with element-only content type cannot have text element. My question is, is that xml valid? Or is the client supposed to send me something without escaping the < and . Any references to xml standards or rules are appreciated.

  I have a QTableView which I am setting a custom QStyledItemDelegate on. In addition to the custom item painting, I want to style the row's background color for the selection/hovered states. It is hard to describe so here is a screenshot: In that picture the mouse was over the left most cell, hence the highlighted background.. but I want the background to be drawn over the entire row. How can I achieve this? Edit: With some more thought I've realized that the QStyle::State_MouseOver state is only being passed for actual cell which the mouse is over, and when the paint method is called for the other cells in the row QStyle::State_MouseOver is not set. So the question becomes is there a QStyle::State_MouseOver_Row state (answer: no), so how do I go about achieving that?

  So I have a one list box with values like DeptA, DeptB, DeptC & DeptD. I have a method that causes these to automatically populate in this list box if they are applicable. So in other words, if they populate in this list box, I want the resulting logic to say they are "Yes" in a boolean field in the table. I am looking for something that will evaluate this list one at a time (i.e. iterate through the list of values, and look for "DeptA", and if it is found add yes to the SQL string, and if it not add no to the SQL string, then march on to the next iteration).   I'm looking to have a click event for all columns but the last column of a GridView and then have a separate click event for the last column of the gridview (a DropDownList). If the ID is not assigned, explicitly set the ID property of controls that raise postback events to avoid this error. So the pager does not work correctly. I think it's because of the Image's Id that has to be generated dinamically but i don't know how to do it. Can someone help me?

• Slow performance when utilizing Interop.DSOFile to search files by Custom Document Property

  I am new to the world of VB.NET and have been tasked to put together a little program to search a directory of about 2000 Excel spreadsheets and put together a list to display based on the value of a Custom Document Property within that spreadsheet file. Given that I am far from a computer programmer by education or trade, this has been an adventure. I've gotten it to work, the results are fine. The problem is, it takes well over a minute to run. It is being run over a LAN connection. When I run it locally (using a 'test' directory of about 300 files) it executes in about 4 seconds. I'm not sure even what to expect as a reasonable execution speed, so I thought I would ask here. The code is below, if anyone thinks changes there might be of use in speeding things up. • How bad is code using std::basic_string<t> as a contiguous buffer?

  I know technically the std::basic_string template is not required to have contiguous memory. However, I'm curious how many implementations exist for modern compilers that actually take advantage of this freedom. For example, if one wants code like the following it seems silly to allocate a vector just to turn around instantly and return it as a string: DWORD valueLength = 0; DWORD type; LONG errorCheck = RegQueryValueExW( hWin32, value.c_str(), NULL, &type, NULL, &valueLength); if (errorCheck != ERROR_SUCCESS) WindowsApiException::Throw(errorCheck); else if (valueLength == 0) return std::wstring(); std::wstring buffer; do { buffer.resize(valueLength/sizeof(wchar_t)); errorCheck = RegQueryValueExW( hWin32, value.c_str(), NULL, &type, &buffer[0], &valueLength); } while (errorCheck == ERROR_MORE_DATA); if (errorCheck != ERROR_SUCCESS) WindowsApiException::Throw(errorCheck); return buffer; I know code like this might slightly reduce portability because it implies that std::wstring is contiguous -- but I'm wondering just how unportable that makes this code. • Passing html parameters to server odd problem

  Hey all i am having a weird problem with sending data back to my server. This is the code i am using: NSString *theURL =[NSString stringWithFormat:@"http://www.xxx.com/confirm.asp?theID=%@&theName=%@&empID=%@&theComp=%@", theConfirmNum, tmpNBUserRow.userName, labelTxt.text, theID]; NSLog(@"%@,%@,%@,%@", theConfirmNum, tmpNBUserRow.userName, labelTxt.text, theID); NSMutableURLRequest *request = [[[NSMutableURLRequest alloc] init] autorelease]; [request setURL:[NSURL URLWithString:theURL]]; [request setHTTPMethod:@"POST"]; NSError *error; NSURLResponse *response; NSData *urlData=[NSURLConnection sendSynchronousRequest:request returningResponse:&response error:&error]; NSString *data=[[NSString alloc]initWithData:urlData encoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]; if ([data isEqualToString:@"Done"]) I can run the code from the browser and it works just fine using the data i got from the NSLog output. The NSLog output for each value is correct. But for some reason when i put a break on the IF ([data isEqualToString:@"Done"]) it has no return value. I checked each value for what it was sending (and again, it was correct in the NSLog output) and i found that the value "theID" said "Out of scope". Although, again, the NSLog had the value in it correctly? So i searched the forum and found a simular problem. I took their advice and added "RETAIN" to the "theID" value like so: theID = [customObjInstance TID]; [theID retain]; However, that did not solve the issue... • Understanding try..catch in Javascript

  I have this try and catch problem. I am trying to redirect to a different page. But sometimes it does and some times it doesnt. • Load nsimage from url but only some url's work

  I have some code that loads an image file off the web and puts it in an image view. The problem is it works with everything but Google Charts. This is frustrating because I was relying on this to graph data for my app. Heres the url I need to load: Click to see my test chart. Im not sure why NSImage seems to refuse to load this when it works with everything elese. If you know why or have a work-around any help is appreciated.   Hello, Consider the situation below. Two tables (A & B), in two environments (DEV & TEST), with records in those tables. If you look the content of the tables, you understand that functionnal data are identical. I mean except the PK and FK values, the name Roger is sill connected to Fruit & Vegetable. In DEV environment : Table A 1 Roger 2 Kevin Table B (italic field is FK to table A) 1 1 Fruit 2 1 Vegetable 3 2 Meat In TEST environment : Table A 4 Roger 5 Kevin Table B (italic field is FK to table A) 7 4 Fruit 8 4 Vegetable 9 5 Meat I'm looking for a SQL Data Compare tool which will tell me there is no difference in the above case. • Trouble move-capturing std::unique_ptr in a lambda using std::bind

  I'd like to capture a variable of type std::vector<std::unique_ptr<MyClass>> in a lambda expression (in other words, "capture by move"). I found a solution which uses std::bind to capture unique_ptr (http://stackoverflow.com/a/12744730/2478832) and decided to use it as a starting point. It divide "x" inside the loop. If I try to manually hit the Facebook access_token URL that my code is attempting to fetch, I get an actual payload returned in the browser: access_token=XYZ&expires=6508 (where XYZ is the access token) So for some reason, there is a problem with the access_token URL specifically when used with file_get_contents(). At first, I thought it was a security issue with my webhoster, but I have verified with phpinfo() that allow url open is indeed allowed. I have also tried this code and verified it works: $foo = file_get_contents('http://google.com'); echo $foo Anyone have any ideas why file_get_contents() is failing with the Facebook access_token URL?

I use Fullcalendar to allow the users of my web application to insert an event in the database. The click on a day, view changes to agendaDay, then on a time of the day, and a dialog popup opens with a form. What happens when I test the whole thing: - first user click on a day, then time of day. Popup opens with time and date indicated on the form. When user submits the form, dialog closes and calendar refreshes its events.... and the event added by the user appears several times (from 4 to up to 11 times!). The form has been processed several times by the receiving php script?! - second user click, the popup opens, user submit empty form. Form is submitted (validate function not triggered) and user redirected to empty page json-events.php (ajaxForm not triggered either) Obviously, my code is wrong (and dirty as well, sorry). Why is the submitted form, submitted several time to receiving script and why is the javascript function EventLoad triggered only once ? Thank you very much for you help.
