  • PHP: How do I loop through every XML file in a directory?

    Hi! I'm building a simple application. It's a user interface to an online order system. Basically, the system is going to work like this: Other companies upload their purchase orders to our FTP server. These orders are simple XML files (containing things like customer data, address information, ordered products and the quantities…) I've built a simple user interface in HTML5, jQuery and CSS — all powered by PHP. PHP reads the content of an order (using the built-in features of SimpleXML) and displays it on the web page. So, it's a web app, supposed to always be running in a browser at the office. The PHP app will display the content of all orders. Every fifteen minutes or so, the app will check for new orders. How do I loop through all XML files in a directory? Right now, my app is able to read the content of a single XML file, and display it in a nice way on the page. But how do I loop through the entire Order directory, and read aand display the content of each order (like above)? I'm stuck. I don't really know how you get all (xml) files in a directory and then do something with the files (like reading them and echo out the data, like I want to). -- I'd really appreciate some help. For instance, the global pos is exactly 600,230 but row-column pair is randomly (5,3) and (4,3). I mean, what?! Also, when i click to an item from the last to rows (later than 13, i guess) will never go into condition "if (clickedItem && clickedItem-column()1 && clickedItem-row()0)", i think it's mainly because 'clickedItem' is null. I'll be more than glad to share any more information, or even the full cpp-h-ui trio in order to get help. Thanks a lot.

I used numeric values and alpha-numeric values for the Product ID's. c) Loaded the app onto the iPhone, went to Settings-Store and logged out of the regular store and into the under a) created test account d) set a breakpoint in the (void)productsRequest:(SKProductsRequest *)request didReceiveResponse:(SKProductsResponse *)response callback All the submitted Product ID's are in the response.invalidProductIdentifiers category.   • JMF Registry could not add item (Vista)

    Hello, I'm using JMF to capture video stream (webcam) on my Java project. The camera I'm using is recognized by JMF (JFMStudio) and I manage to get the video stream. However, on JMF Registry Editor - there's a list of available capture devices, when I click "Add" on one of the items (including the one I need) I get a "Could not add item" error. Therefore this camera is not set in the registry of it (god know where) and later on it is not recognized by my project: RGBFormat fmt = new RGBFormat(); // could be YUV - doesn't matter Vector v = CaptureDeviceManager.getDeviceList(fmt); v is empty (while I know the video source is recognized by Java , since I manage to get video on JMF Studio). Now, this happens only on Vista (where else) and not on XP. I have a suspiction that somehow Vista security blocks Java from writing the registry file, but of course, I might be wrong. One more comments: this is vfw:Microsoft WDM Image Capture(Win32):0 device. Any idea ?

  • Images missing after moving Django to new server

    I'm moving Django project to new server. I'm newbie in Django, and I don't know where should be upload folder. There are all images which should be displayed on website. In config file I haven't seen upload folder I could specify, so I'm guessing it always should be the same location for django projects or I just can't find it. Locations are saved in database. When I've put uploaded files into media folder, so url was like domain.co.uk/media/upload/media/images/year/month/day/image_name.ext and the same is on the old website, images on website ware still missing. All images are visible if I put url by hand, but django doesn't seems to see files.     My dbml file is just getting bigger and bigger and more unwieldy: I favoured an all-in-one approach as supposed to multiple data contexts because when I tried that it was near impossible to manage in code. I was advised it was better to have them all in one chart and the difficulty will be simply in managing this chart and not in code. The chart I've got is becoming a pain to manage, if I want to even remove a table and re-add it it sometimes takes a little while to manually find it! There isn't even a list I can find in VS2010 of the objects you have in that chart! Is there a better way of doing this?

    Joda-Time library includes different datetime classes DateTime - Immutable replacement for JDK Calendar DateMidnight - Immutable class representing a date where the time is forced to midnight LocalDateTime - Immutable class representing a local date and time (no time zone) I'm wondering how are you using these classes in your Layered Applications. I see advantages in having almost all the Interfaces using LocalDateTime (at the Service Layer at least) so that my Application doesn't have to manage Timezones and can safely assume Times always in UTC. My app could then use DateTime to manage Timezones at the very beginning of the Execution's Flow. I'm also wondering in which scenario can DateMidnight be useful.

  • Minimum permission required to access Site Columns page and edit site columns

    We've started to adopt SharePoint 2010, and are starting to manually migrate content from SharePoint 2007 sites to new sites we're rebuilding from scratch in SP2010. One of the things we previously had supported was to delegate responsibility for managing some of our site columns to a member of the team. The team member is not familiar with SharePoint internals, and doesn't want the responsibility of full permissions to the site and all its objects. We're now trying to figure out what the minimum permission is that we need to grant our team member, so they can continue to edit (& propagate) the content of the site columns we've defined. Permissions he currently has (which are obviously insufficient): Site permissions (according to _layouts/user.aspx): Read, Contribute, Manage Lists Permissions for specific objects in the site (according to _layouts/people.aspxMembershipGroupId=xxx, then choosing Settings, View Group Permissions): server/sites/[sitename]: Contribute server/sites/[sitename]/Lists/[a list with columns that inherit from site columns]: "Contribute No Delete" Note: the "Contribute No Delete" permission is a custom permission I designed by copying the SharePoint-native "Contribute" permission set and deselecting the Delete permission. The "Manage Lists" permission is a custom permission I designed that includes the following specific permissions: (List Permissions) Manage Lists, View Items; (Site Permissions) View Pages, Open. Operations that are throwing access denied errors: _layouts/mngfield.aspx: SharePoint returns the "Error: Access Denied" dialog, and provides three clickable options: "Sign in as a different user", "Request access", and "Go back to site" _layouts/fldedit.aspx?field=Level%5Fx0020%5F3 [one of the site columns we've defined]: can load the page and type in changes to the textboxes "...but when I press OK (save changes) I get the same message above." When our team member clicks the "Request access" link, the email I receive sends me to a page that recommends that I grant the user membership in the "[sitename] Users" group - of which he's already a member. So while SP2010 tries to request access, it doesn't actually direct me to either (a) a valid group that has the correct permissions or (b) the specific object to which I need to grant our team member access. Also note: on the SP2007 (MOSS) site (where our team member was successful in managing Site Column edits), they had dozens of additional permissions throughout the site that we do not wish to blindly re-allocate in SP2010 until we know they're necessary. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    I had to make a launcher script for my django app, and it seems it somehow switches the timezone to GMT (default being +2), and every datetime is two hours behind when using the script. What could be causing that? I'm very passionate about programming and I constantly strive to hone my programming skills by reading blogs, solving Project euler questions, learning new technologies, developing small apps etc;. But I find it very difficult to manage my time. Working for 12 hrs a day in office leaves me stressed out and spend my weekends with my family. So i hardly have like 5-6 hrs per week to actually work on something of my interest which will help me improve. How do you manage time so that you find time to improve your current standing? EDIT: 12 hours includes 1hour of travel & 1 hr of break(lunch/coffee). Effectively I work for 10 hours per day in office which is mandated by my organization. -Snehal

    Some installations that run our applications can be under hefty stress on a busy day. Our clients ask us is there is a way to manage priorities in our application. For example, in a typical internet banking application, banks are interested in having the form “Transfer money” responsive, while the “Statement” page is a lot less critical. Not being able to transfer money is a direct loss for the bank, while not being able to produce a statement or something similar can be fixed with an apology. AFAIK, neither can you manage different request or session timeouts in a typical web application, it is one value for the whole of your web app. Managing message priority and expiry time is a typical feature in many middleware platforms. Something like this can be useful for a web front end as well. Do any of web servers (either java or .net) or web frameworks provide these features? How would you go about implementing it if you’d have to go for roll-your-own?
