  Hi guys needing a bit of help. I am creating a one page personal site. Each section has a menu in it to jump to another section, however i want to have a class added to menu for the current section: i.e. if you are in about the about link would have a class 'current'. • Cannot do a ncurses overwrite(curscr, savewin) correctly because I ripoffline() before

  I have a C/ncurses program that I'm debugging/maintaining. This program does ripoffline twice: first, to put a title bar and the second time to put a menu bar on the top of the page. I need to dropdown some menus so I save the screen before I drop down the menus. In the InitMenu function, I have the following code: savewin = newwin (0, 0, 0, 0); overwrite (curscr, savewin); wrefresh(savewin) The problem is that savewin is being copied WITH the menu and the ripped off lines, but it gets drawn on the screen BELOW the rippedoff lines. This duplicates the ripped off lines on the screen. Only realizing where the problem was took me a while. Now, I have no idea how to fix it. Ideally, I would like to copy curscr to savewin without the ripped off lines. Any ideas?

• How do you retrieve the array adapter currently set for a spinner? Android OS, Droid

  Looking to create a menu toggle that switches between two possible arrays for a spinner. For example, if the spinner is set to show array A, then when I press this menu button, I want the spinner to be set to array B. If I press it again, I want it to be set back to array A. I can handle the if/then statements and all, but how do I call the spinner's array adapter? I know how to call its value using getSelectedItemPosition(); but is there a similar method for retrieving WHICH array it is currently set to?

  Wonder if there is a parameter I can pass in mmysqldump equivalent for SQL Servery mysqldump that will make the incorrect "DROP TABLE IF EXISTS" statements into "DROP VIEW IF EXISTS", so that populating a database in an automated development environment refresh will work? Clarification, I'm getting DROP TABLE IF EXISTS statements in my .sql dump file even though they aren't tables. FYI: This is a Drupal site. The tables in question are ubercart meta statistics tables.

• iPhone - dealloc subview UIViewController when removeFromSuperview

  I have several buttons on my main UIViewController (main menu) that creates and adds a subview UIViewController on top of the main menu. When I remove the subview the memory from that controller is not released. How can I release that subviews memory instantly? Does anyone have an example? This would solve all my problems! • Panel widget overlapping other contents in android

  I'm trying to utilize the Panel widget introduced in android-misc-widgets. It's been good so far. Now the problem is the sliding panel overlaps my top menu bar. For clarification look at the following screenshots. This is when I open panel using drag gesture (no problem here): This is when I open the panel with a single tap (look at the icons overlapping the top menu): There is one other problem, If there is any content inside the activity, opening the panel pushes that content out of the screen!

  I have wpf datagrid with number of template columns. some of them have textbox in them in edit mode and some combobox. i need to give cut/copy/paste facility to user from main menu (ribbon) buttons of my application. when i select some text from textbox and press copy button from main menu. copy button becomes active control so i loose textbox as active control by which i could get selected text. • Upgrading Visual Studio web service project says to "convert to web application."

  I have a Visual Studio 2003 web service project that I have to upgrade to Visual Studio 2008. After I have run the conversion wizard, I get this message: You have completed the first step in converting your Visual Studio .NET 2003 web project. To complete the conversion, please select your project in the Solution Explorer and choose the 'Convert to Web Application' context menu item. I got this message with another project, which was originally a "web site", rather than an ASP.NET "web application". It made sense to in that case (sort of). Why, however, would I not just want to have this project remain a web service project? Additionally, when I follow the instructions and select "Convert to Web Application" from the context menu, I don't get any feedback that anything has changed. Should it have? If so, what?

• Should non-English member names be changed to English?

  Situation: Automatically generated memebers, such as MenuStrip items, have their (automatically generated) names based on the text entered when the item was created. My most common situation is creating a menu-strip and adding menu-items by entering their text (using the graphical designer). Since my GUI is in Hebrew, all these members have a name which contains a Hebrew string. Something like "(hebrew-text)ToolStripItem". When I create event handlers, the event handlers "inherit" the hebrew text: "(hebrew-text)ToolStripMenuItem_Click". This actually works well, IntelliSense has no problem with Hebrew text, and so does the compiler. The question is: should I change these names (or prevent them from being created in the first place)? What are the possible consequences of keeping those names?

  I need to create several windows before NSDocument is loaded, or create a window that blocks NSDocument window and top menu. I tried several solutions - but they didn't work right. modal window, one after another. there were some problems with Async URLConnection, and some other problems with my NSDocument content. I created custom MainMenu.xib with no menu, that opens my preinitialize windows. here i found some other problems, when a file(associated with my application) is opened - the Document Window initializes. Here i tried to subclass NSDocumentController, but i found no way to pause the "open document". (i want the document to be opened anyway, but only after the preinitalize windows would be closed). So what is the right way to do this?

  I have a form with a drop down menu and I want to do a javascript action whenever the user changes the selection. I imagine it is possible find the input later, using javascript, and attach an event to to it; but it seems like it would be easier if there was some sort of attribute or option that could be defined in form-configure(): e.g. $this->widgetSchema['menu'] = new sfWidgetFormChoice(array( ... 'onclick' => javascript function )); obviously this doesn't work, and it probably wouldn't be an onclick method either, but my question is how do you attach a javascript event to a input/widget?

  Hi, everyone. I'm just starting with django, so sorry for a possibly stupid question. Imagine, I have a webpage with 3 logical pieces: content, dynamic menu, banners. It seems ok to me to have a template with something like: {% include "banners.html" %} {% include "menu.html" %} {% include "content.html" %} But then, how do I do it? Every piece has its separate logic in a separate view in its' separate app. How do I trigger execution of all three views and render all three templates? P.S. Is there a sourceforge-like site for django apps where I could take a look at how people are doing stuff in real projects?

Is there a PHP CMS with which I can easily create the webpages with forms that can modify my database tables? The point is that I don't want to code it using plain PHP or MVC frameworks either. I looked at other CMSs' like Drupal and Joomla but it looks like its difficult to make them use custom tables.

  Hello all, Preamble to scope my question: I have a web app (or site, this is an internal LAN site) that uses jQuery and AJAX extensively to dynamically load the content section of the UI in the browser. A user navigates the app using a navigation menu. Clicking an item in the navigation menu makes an AJAX call to php, and php then returns the content that is used to populate the central content section. One of the pages served back by php has a table form, set up like a spreadsheet, that the user enters values into. This table is always kept in sync with data in the database. So, when the table is created, is it populated with the relevant database data. Then when the user makes a change in a "cell", that change immediately is written back to the database so the table and database are always in sync. This approach was take to reassure users that the data they entered has been saved (long story...), and to alleviate them from having to click a save button of some kind. So, this always in sync idea is great, except that a user can enter a value in a cell, not take focus out of the cell, and then take any number of actions that would cause that last value to be lost: e.g. navigate to another section of the site via the navigation menu, log out of the app, close the browser, etc. End of preamble, on to the issue: I initially thought that wasn't a problem, because I would just track what data was "dirty" or not saved, and then in the onunload event I would do a final write to the database. Herein lies the rub: because of my clever (or not so clever, not sure) use of AJAX and dynamically loading the content section, the user never actually leaves the original url, or page, when the above actions are taken, with the exception of closing the browser. Therefore, the onunload event does not fire, and I am back to losing the last data again. My question, is there a recommended way to handle figuring out if a person is navigating away from a "section" of your app when content is dynamically loaded this way? I can come up with a solution I think, that involves globals and tracking the currently viewed page, but I thought I would check if there might be a more elegant solution out there, or a change I could make in my design, that would make this work. • CSS/HTML: Highlighting the "full width avaialble" to a list item

  I'm working on a website for a small law office. In the side-menu, I'm trying to highlight the "current page". I have tried changing the background of the LI, but this doesn't quite do the trick; the list item doesn't spread to the full width of the menu, so it looks bad. Here's a jfiddle. I would like the yellow section to highlight like the pink section is highlighted: filling up the full vertical and horizontal space, not just highlighting the text. Any suggestions on how to do this? I've included the style tag in the html just for example, obviously, and my real solution will be a little different when it's done. But I can't move forward until I figure out how to somehow highlight the entire line.
