  I am new to Java and I am running into this issue that I can't figure out. From the debug lines I can see that each parameter has a value. Could it be referring to a bad path to one of the images? Any ideas? For some reason my server won't start in debug mode in Eclipse so I am having trouble figuring this out.

• 2 Templates to one SharePoint Library, Default templates

  Ok, I'm not a script writer, otherwise I'd have this automated already. I need a quick assist in the most basic steps possible. I have a SharePoint form library using InfoPath based forms. I have a "Public" template for my customers which submits to a "Private" library, through very granulated permissions so they cannot view the library. The Private library has it's own template based on the original Public template. This way I can transition one form's information seamlessly to the new template. The new Private template would have all of the internal details that we do not want the customer to see, but also all information fron the customer-filled Public form. Is there any way to default all items opened from the Private library to use the Private Template, even though they were submitted form the Public template?

  Hello, how can I use the same UI template (*.ui.xml file) with multiple Java objects extending from Composite? I need to build several pages that should display basically the same information with the same layout, but on one page some fields will be editable, and on a different page other fields will be editable. I would like to specify layout only once in ui.xml, and create different behaviors in different *.java classes. • Django TemplateSyntaxError only on live server (templates exist)

  I'm getting a strange error that only occurs on the live server. My Django templates directory is set up like so base.html two-column-base.html portfolio index.html extranet base.html index.html The portfolio pages work correctly locally on multiple machines. They inherit from either the root base.html or two-column-base.html. However, now that I've posted them to the live box (local machines are Windows, live is Linux), I get a TemplateSyntaxError: "Caught TemplateDoesNotExist while rendering: base.html" when I try to load any portfolio pages. It seems to be a case where the extends tag won't work in that root directory (???). Even if I do a direct_to_template on two-column-base.html (which extends base.html), I get that error. The extranet pages all work perfectly, but those templates all live inside the /extranet folder and inherit from /extranet/base.html. Possible issues I've checked: file permissions on the server are fine the template directory is correct on the live box (I'm using os.path.dirname(os.path.realpath(__file__)) to make things work across machines) files exist and the /templates directories exactly match my local copy removing the {% extends %} block from the top of any broken template causes the templates to render without a problem manually starting a shell session and calling get_template on any of the files works, but trying to render it blows up with the same exception on any of the extended templates. Doing the same with base.html, it renders perfectly (base.html also renders via direct_to_template) Django 1.2, Python 2.6 on Webfaction. Apologies in advance because this is my 3rd or 4th "I'm doing something stupid" question in a row. The only x-factor I can think of is this is my first time using Mercurial instead ofsvn. Not sure how I could have messed things up via that. EDIT: One possible source of problems: local machine is Python 2.5, live is 2.6. Here's a traceback of me trying to render 'two-column-base.html', which extends 'base.html'. • In Django, what's the best way to handle optional url parameters from the template?

  I have the following type of urls which are both valid: hello/ hello/1234/ My urls.py has the following: urlpatterns = patterns('hello.views', url(r'^$', 'index', name='index'), url(r'^(?P<user_id>\d+)/$', 'index', name='index'), ) In my views.py, when I pass user_id to the template, it defaults to 0 if not specified. My template looks like the following, I'm using namespace hello for my hello app: {% url hello:index user_id %} If user_id is not specified, the url defaults to hello/0/. The only way I can think of preventing the default 0 from showing in the url is by an if stmt: {% if user_id %} {% url hello:index user_id %} {% else %} {% url hello:index %} {% endif %} The above will give me hello/ if there are no user_id and hello/1234/ if it's present. Is the above solution the best way to solve this issue?

  I've been trying to select a list of values from XMLs stored in an XMLType column but I keep getting the errors which are listed at the tail end of this post. Is it because iBatis does not recognise XMLDB queries and hence, tokenizes the string wrongly? On a sidenote, I have implemented XMLTypeCallback.java to handle XMLType insertions successfully, and I think it will work should I wish to retrieve the entire XML. However, in this case, I need to extract only individual values due to requirements. A workaround would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. There are a lot of things in it I don't know how to do, such as: Having header rows that "stick" to the top even when you scroll down Slider on the first page changes where the chart pulls its data from Functions seem to be referring to named ranges in tables, like =SUM([nov]). Where do those names come from? • How to check if an apply-template filled variable is a string or (possibly) empty node in XSLT?

  I need a test which would evaluate to true in two cases: There is a string inside which contains any non white space characters There is any node (which can be possibly empty) on a variable that is filled with apply-template call result. I tried test="normalize-space($var)" but this doesn't cover the empty tag possibility. I also tried simply this: test="$var" but this evaluate to true even for white space only strings. By the way "$var/*" produces an error "Expression ...something I don't remember... node-set" which is I think because of apply-template variable instantiation. Is there any (which means even multi level decision) solution for this? EDIT: I forgot to say that it's for XSLT 1.0 and preferably without any exslt extensions or similar.

• ipad dev - in the UISplitViewController template, how is the method setDetailItem called?

  I am developing an ipad app which has a UISplitViewController. (I use IB to build the interface, but I do not use the template) Both master and detail (left and right) views are navigationController. The left view subclass UITableView and the right view should push another controller if the cell on the left is selected. I don't know how to make my detail view responds to my master view. Also, in the template, the detailViewController has a id detailItem and a method setDetailItem. How are these two connected? I cannot see any connection between but setDetailItem is called when detailViewController.detailItem is being called. Thanks in advance.

When using {{ form.email }} in case of some validation error, django still renders the previous value in the input tag's value attribute: <input type="text" id="id_email" maxlength="75" class="required" value="[email protected]" name="email"> I want to render the input tag myself (to add some javascript code and an error class in case of an error). • What does Rails script/server -d do differently that would cause a cells template to not be found

  I'm using cells. I used the generator to create a cell so the path to my template was automatically chosen to be app/cells/displayer/table.html.erb where displayer is the name of the cell and table is the name of the state. When I run script/server in the foreground, everything works perfectly. But when I run script/server -d, I get "Missing template displayer/table.erb in view path app/cells:app/cells/layouts". Even if I change table.html.erb to table.erb, I see the same message - the ActionView code is checking both but not finding either. Even if you're not familiar with cells, does anyone know what happens differently in daemon mode related to view paths? In this case, it appears that the plugin is not correctly registering the view path.

• How do you post content to a specific template position?

  I can't figure this out. I purchased a template / theme from RocketTheme, but I can't figure out how to add content at a specific position. The templates have "module positions" that collapse. I'd like to add some content at one of the module positions. If I add articles, they seem to go into "mainbody". But I'd like to have content in other areas of the template. How do I take some text, images, or other content, and get them to display in these other positions (i.e., TOP-A, or FEATURE-A, etc)?

  I have found the place near the very top in a T4MVC template file (.tt) where assembly references can be added, which looks like: <#@ assembly name="System.Core" #> <#@ import namespace="System.Collections.Generic" #> However, it seems that I can only reference assemblies that are in the GAC. i.e. if I have an assembly MyProject.Stuff.dll (not in the GAC) added as a reference to the VS project containing the template then I expected to be able to add something like the following: <#@ assembly name="MyProject.Stuff" #> <#@ import namespace="MyProject.Stuff" #> If I do this then I get the following error: Error 1 Compiling transformation: Metadata file 'MyProject.Stuff' could not be found C:\Work\Development\DotNetSolution\MyProject\Utils\T4MVC\T4MVC.tt 1 1 How can I add a reference to an assembly that isn't in the GAC?
