    Hi, I am using Spring 3.0.5.Release MVC for exposing a webservice and below is my servlet.xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:context="http://www.springframework.org/schema/context" xsi:schemaLocation=" http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans/spring-beans-3.0.xsd http://www.springframework.org/schema/context http://www.springframework.org/schema/context/spring-context-3.0.xsd"> <!-- To enable @RequestMapping process on type level and method level --> <context:component-scan base-package="com.pyramid.qls.progressReporter.service" /> <bean class="org.springframework.web.servlet.mvc.annotation.DefaultAnnotationHandlerMapping" /> <bean class="org.springframework.web.servlet.mvc.annotation.AnnotationMethodHandlerAdapter"> <property name="messageConverters"> <list> <ref bean="marshallingConverter" /> <ref bean="atomConverter" /> <ref bean="jsonConverter" /> </list> </property> </bean> <bean id="marshallingConverter" class="org.springframework.http.converter.xml.MarshallingHttpMessageConverter"> <constructor-arg ref="jaxbMarshaller" /> <property name="supportedMediaTypes" value="application/xml"/> </bean> <bean id="atomConverter" class="org.springframework.http.converter.feed.AtomFeedHttpMessageConverter"> <property name="supportedMediaTypes" value="application/atom+xml" /> </bean> <bean id="jsonConverter" class="org.springframework.http.converter.json.MappingJacksonHttpMessageConverter"> <property name="supportedMediaTypes" value="application/json" /> </bean> <!-- Client --> <bean id="restTemplate" class="org.springframework.web.client.RestTemplate"> <property name="messageConverters"> <list> <ref bean="marshallingConverter" /> <ref bean="atomConverter" /> <ref bean="jsonConverter" /> </list> </property> </bean> <bean id="jaxbMarshaller" class="org.springframework.oxm.jaxb.Jaxb2Marshaller"> <property name="classesToBeBound"> <list> <value>com.pyramid.qls.progressReporter.impl.BatchProgressMetricsImpl</value> <value>com.pyramid.qls.progressReporter.datatype.InstrumentStats</value> <value>com.pyramid.qls.progressReporter.datatype.InstrumentInfo</value> <value>com.pyramid.qls.progressReporter.datatype.LoadOnConsumer</value> <value>com.pyramid.qls.progressReporter.datatype.HighLevelTaskStats</value> <value>com.pyramid.qls.progressReporter.datatype.SessionStats</value> <value>com.pyramid.qls.progressReporter.datatype.TaskStats</value> <value>com.pyramid.qls.progressReporter.datatype.ComputeStats</value> <value>com.pyramid.qls.progressReporter.datatype.DetailedInstrumentStats</value> <value>com.pyramid.qls.progressReporter.datatype.ImntHistoricalStats</value> </list> </property> </bean> <bean id="QPRXmlView" class="org.springframework.web.servlet.view.xml.MarshallingView"> <constructor-arg ref="jaxbMarshaller" /> </bean> <bean class="org.springframework.web.servlet.view.ContentNegotiatingViewResolver"> <property name="mediaTypes"> <map> <entry key="xml" value="application/xml"/> <entry key="html" value="text/html"/> </map> </property> <property name="viewResolvers"> <list> <bean class="org.springframework.web.servlet.view.BeanNameViewResolver"/> <bean id="viewResolver" class="org.springframework.web.servlet.view.UrlBasedViewResolver"> <property name="viewClass" value="org.springframework.web.servlet.view.JstlView"/> <property name="prefix" value="/WEB-INF/jsp/"/> <property name="suffix" value=".jsp"/> </bean> </list> </property> </bean> <bean id="QPRController" class="com.pyramid.qls.progressReporter.service.QPRController"> <property name="jaxb2Mashaller" ref="jaxbMarshaller" /> </bean> </beans> Following is what i am doing in controller (QPRController) @RequestMapping(value = "/clientMetrics/{clientId}", method = RequestMethod.GET) public ModelAndView getBatchProgressMetrics(@PathVariable String clientId) { List<BatchProgressMetrics> batchProgressMetricsList = null; batchProgressMetricsList = batchProgressReporter.getBatchProgressMetricsForClient(clientId); ModelAndView mav = new ModelAndView("QPRXmlView", BindingResult.MODEL_KEY_PREFIX + "batchProgressMetrics", batchProgressMetricsList); return mav; } And i get the following: SEVERE: Servlet.service() for servlet rest threw exception javax.servlet.ServletException: Unable to locate object to be marshalled in model: {org.springframework.validation.BindingResult.batchProgressMetrics= Note that BatchProgressMetrics is an interface so my MAV is returning list of BatchProgressMetrics objects and i have entry for its impl in classes to be bound in servlet.xml.   • CGBitmapContextCreate: unsupported parameter combination

    - by tarmes
    I'm getting this error when creating a bitmap context: CGBitmapContextCreate: unsupported parameter combination: 8 integer bits/component; 24 bits/pixel; 3-component color space; kCGImageAlphaNone; 7936 bytes/row. Here's the code (note that the context is based on the parameters of an existing CGImage: context = CGBitmapContextCreate(NULL, (int)pi.bufferSizeRequired.width, (int)pi.bufferSizeRequired.height, CGImageGetBitsPerComponent(imageRef), 0, CGImageGetColorSpace(imageRef), CGImageGetBitmapInfo(imageRef)); Width is 2626, height is 3981. I've leaving bytesPerRow at zero so that it gets calculated automatically for me, and it's chosen 7936 of its own accord. So, where on Earth is the inconsistency? It's driving me nuts.

  • Freehand drawing with Quartz 2D

    - by qutaibah
    I am trying to develop a simple freehand-drawing app for red-marking some of my images. Below is a method that is called from within the drawRect. I want to ask if there is a way to avoid add the path every time the path is redrawn? Also, the way the draw method is set up, the drawing gets a bit slow and choopy after a few seconds. How can I improve the smoothness of the drawn path? thanks -(void)freehandDraw:(CGContextRef)context inRect:(CGRect)rect { CGPathAddLineToPoint( path, NULL, drawTip.x, drawTip.y); CGContextAddPath( context, path); CGContextStrokePath(context); } // method

  • Clipping different parts of an image with path

    - by huggie
    I've recently asked a question about clipping an image via path at view's drawRect method. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2570653/iphone-clip-image-with-path Krasnyk's code is copied below. - (void)drawRect:(CGRect)rect { CGContextRef context = UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(); CGMutablePathRef path = CGPathCreateMutable(); //or for e.g. CGPathAddRect(path, NULL, CGRectInset([self bounds], 10, 20)); CGPathAddEllipseInRect(path, NULL, [self bounds]); CGContextAddPath(context, path); CGContextClip(context); CGPathRelease(path); [[UIImage imageNamed:@"GC.png"] drawInRect:[self bounds]]; } It works very well. However, when my image is larger than the view itself, how do I show different parts of the image? I tried tweaking around with translation on the locations (show as bounds above) of ellipse and/or UIImage drawInRect but some complex effects (Unwanted clipping, weird elipse size) I can't explain happens.

  • PHP4 HTTP Post without cURL

    - by Luke
    I have the following code that works on PHP5 to send a HTTP POST without using cURL. I would like this to work on PHP 4.3.0 and above: $opts = array('http' => array( 'method' => 'POST', 'header' => "Content-type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded\r\n" . "Content-Type: application/json\r\n", 'content' => $query ) ); $context = stream_context_create($opts); $result = file_get_contents($url, false, $context); HTTP context is only supported on PHP5. Is there anyway to make this work with PHP 4.3.0 - I need a fallback method if PHP5 or cURL is not installed.

  • WinForms Taskbar Icon - Click Event not firing

    - by Greycrow
    I have created a non-form c# program that uses the NotifyIcon class. The text "(Click to Activate)" shows up when I hover the mouse. So I am getting some events handled. However, The "Click" event does not fire and the Context menu doesnt show up. public class CTNotify { static NotifyIcon CTicon = new NotifyIcon(); static ContextMenu contextMenu = new ContextMenu(); static void Main() { //Add a notify Icon CTicon.Icon = new Icon("CTicon.ico"); CTicon.Text = "(Click to Activate)"; CTicon.Visible = true; CTicon.Click += new System.EventHandler(CTicon_Click); //Create a context menu for the notify icon contextMenu.MenuItems.Add("E&xit"); //Attach context menu to icon CTicon.ContextMenu = contextMenu; while (true) //Infinite Loop { Thread.Sleep(300); //wait } } private static void CTicon_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e) { MessageBox.Show("Clicked!"); } }

  • How to dispose NHibernate ISession in an ASP.NET MVC App

    - by Joe Young
    I have NHibernate hooked up in my asp.net mvc app. Everything works fine, if I DON'T dispose the ISession. I have read however that you should dispose, but when I do, I get random "Session is closed" exceptions. I am injecting the ISession into my other objects with Windsor. Here is my current NHModule: public class NHibernateHttpModule : IHttpModule { public void Init(HttpApplication context) { context.BeginRequest += context_BeginRequest; context.EndRequest += context_EndRequest; } static void context_EndRequest(object sender, EventArgs e) { CurrentSessionContext.Unbind(MvcApplication.SessionFactory); } static void context_BeginRequest(object sender, EventArgs e) { CurrentSessionContext.Bind(MvcApplication.SessionFactory.OpenSession()); } public void Dispose() { // do nothing } } Registering the ISession: container .Register(Component.For<ISession>() .UsingFactoryMethod(() => MvcApplication.SessionFactory.GetCurrentSession()).LifeStyle.Transient); The error happens when I tack the Dispose on the unbind in the module. Since I keep getting the session is closed error I assume this is not the correct way to do this, so what is the correct way? Thanks, Joe

  • Caching the xml response from a HttpHandler

    - by Blankman
    My HttpHandler looks like: public void ProcessRequest(HttpContext context) { context.Response.ContentType = "text/xml"; XmlWriter writer = new XmlTextWriter(context.Response.OutputStream, Encoding.UTF8); writer.WriteStartDocument(); writer.WriteStartElement("ProductFeed"); DataTable dt = GetStuff(); for(...) { } writer.WriteEndElement(); writer.WriteEndDocument(); writer.Flush(); writer.Close(); } How can I cache the entire xml document that I am generating? Or do I only have the option of caching the DataTable object?

  • Getting "Object is read only" error when setting ClientCredentials in WCF

    - by Paul Mrozowski
    I have a proxy object generated by Visual Studio (client side) named ServerClient. I am attempting to set ClientCredentials.UserName.UserName/Password before opening up a new connection using this code: InstanceContext context = new InstanceContext(this); m_client = new ServerClient(context); m_client.ClientCredentials.UserName.UserName = "Sample"; As soon as the code hits the UserName line it fails with an "Object is read-only" error. I know this can happen if the connection is already open or faulted, but at this point I haven't called context.Open() yet. I have configured the Bindings (which uses netTcpBinding) to use Message as it's security mode, and MessageClientCredentialType is set to UserName. Any ideas?

  • How to flip the origin.y of an CGRect?

    - by mystify
    I'm trying to draw an UIImageView, but the frame's origin is wrong when I flip the coordinate system for drawing not upside-down. CGRect imgRect = imgView.frame; imgRect.origin.y += 10.0f; CGContextTranslateCTM(context, 0.0f, imgRect.size.height); CGContextScaleCTM(context, 1.0f, -1.0f); CGContextDrawImage(context, imgRect, imgView.image.CGImage); like you can see I move the image down by 10, but instead of going down by 10, it goes UP by 10. That's completely unlogical since I had actually inverted the wrong coordinate system to look exactly like the one in UIView, right? What to do about it?

  • Session variable getting lost using Firefox, works in IE

    - by user328422
    I am setting a Session variable in an HttpHandler, and then getting its value in the Page_load event of an ASPX page. I'm setting it using public void ProcessRequest(HttpContext context) { HttpPostedFile file = context.Request.Files["Filedata"]; context.Session["WorkingImage"] = file.FileName; } (And before someone suggests that I check the validity of file.FileName, this same problem occurs if I hard-code a test string in there.) It's working just fine in IE, but in Firefox the Session Variable is not found, getting the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error in the following code: protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { string loc = Session["WorkingImage"].ToString(); } Has anyone encountered this problem - and hopefully come up with a means for passing the session variable?

  • Core Data multi-threading

    - by JK
    My app starts by presenting a tableview whose datasource is a Core Data SQLite store. When the app starts, a secondary thread with its own store controller and context is created to obtain updates from the web for data in the store. However, any resulting changes to the store are not notified to the fetchedresults controller (I presume because it has its own coordinator) and consequently the table is not updated with store changes. What would be the most efficient way to refresh the context on the main thread? I am considering tracking the objectIDs of any objects changed on the secondary thread, sending those to the main thread when the secondary thread completes and invoking "[context refreshObject:....] Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Visual Studio 2008 built-in web server needs integrated pipeline mode - How?

    - by jdk
    Using Visual Studio 2008 and built-in web server. In a Web Handler .ashx file public void ProcessRequest(HttpContext context) { context.Response.ContentType = MimeType_text_xvcard; context.Response.Headers.Add(HttpHeader_ContentLength, "2138"); when I try to add an HTTP header I get the exception: This operation requires IIS integrated pipeline mode. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.PlatformNotSupportedException: This operation requires IIS integrated pipeline mode. I can find information about this error on the Internet but need specific info about how to presumably enable Integrated Pipeline mode (through web.config?) to allow HTTP headers to be manipulated. How do do I put the built-in web server into integrated pipeline mode? Note: Not using full-fledged IIS

  • Retrieving WSDL file from secure service

    - by Anonimo
    I have a Web Service developed with JAX-WS. I have secured the web service with BASIC authentication configured in Tomcat. When I try to access the web service using a Java client, I first need to create the port, and then specify the credentials, as follows: CustomerServiceClient customerServiceClient = new CustomerServiceBottomUpService(); //1 CustomerService customer = customerServiceClient.getCustomerServicePort(); //2 Map<String, Object> context = ((BindingProvider) customer).getRequestContext(); //3 context.put(BindingProvider.USERNAME_PROPERTY, "kermit"); //4 context.put(BindingProvider.PASSWORD_PROPERTY, "thefrog"); //5 The problem I have is that, after line 1, I get an Authorization error (HTTP 401) as I obviously haven't provided the server with the credentials yet. I am creating the client artifacts from a server WSDL, hence the authentication problem when creating the service, and don't want my clients to store the WSDL locally as it's just annoying for them. How can I get around this problem?

  • Hi, I have a C hashing routine which is behaving strangely?

    - by aks
    Hi, In this hashing routine: 1.) I am able to add strings. 2.) I am able to view my added strings. 3.) When i try to add a duplicate string, it throws me an error saying already present. 4.) But, when i try to delete the same string which is already present in hash table, then the lookup_routine calls hash function to get an index. At this time, it throws a different hash index to the one it was already added. Hence, my delete routine is failing? I am able to understand the reason why for same string, hash fucntion calculates a different index each time (whereas the same logic works in view hash table routine)? Can someone help me? • How do you: Symfony functional test on a secure app?

    - by Dan Tudor
    Im trying to perform some function tests in symfony 1.4. My application is secure so the tests return 401 response codes not 200 as expected. I've tried creating a context and authentication the user prior to performing the test but to no avail. Any suggestions? Do I need to pass sfContext to the sfTestFunctional? Thanks include(dirname(FILE).'/../../bootstrap/functional.php'); $configuration = ProjectConfiguration::getApplicationConfiguration('backend', 'test', true); $context = sfContext::createInstance($configuration); new sfDatabaseManager($configuration); $loader = new sfPropelData(); $loader-loadData(sfConfig::get('sf_test_dir').'/fixtures'); // load test data $user = sfGuardUserPeer::retrieveByUsername('test'); $context-getUser()-signin($user); $browser = new sfTestFunctional(new sfBrowser()); $browser- get('/')- with('request')-begin()- isParameter('module', 'video')- isParameter('action', 'index')- end()- with('response')-begin()- isStatusCode(200)- //checkElement('body', '!/This is a temporary page/')- end() ;

  • problem in loading images from web

    - by Lynnooi
    hi, I am new in android and had developed an app which get images from the website and display it. I got it working in emulator but not in real phones. In some device, it will crash or take very long loading period. Can anyone please help me or guide me in improving it as i'm not sure whether the way i loads the images is correct or not. Here are the code i use to get the images from the web and display accordingly. if (xmlURL.length() != 0) { try { URL url = new URL(xmlURL); SAXParserFactory spf = SAXParserFactory.newInstance(); SAXParser sp = spf.newSAXParser(); /* Get the XMLReader of the SAXParser we created. */ XMLReader xr = sp.getXMLReader(); /* * Create a new ContentHandler and apply it to the * XML-Reader */ xr.setContentHandler(myExampleHandler); /* Parse the xml-data from our URL. */ xr.parse(new InputSource(url.openStream())); /* Parsing has finished. */ /* * Our ExampleHandler now provides the parsed data to * us. */ ParsedExampleDataSet parsedExampleDataSet = myExampleHandler.getParsedData(); } catch (Exception e) { } } if (s.equalsIgnoreCase("wallpapers")) { Context context = helloAndroid.this.getBaseContext(); for (int j = 0; j <= myExampleHandler.filenames.size() - 1; j++) { if (myExampleHandler.filenames.elementAt(j).toString() != null) { helloAndroid.this.ed = myExampleHandler.thumbs.elementAt(j) .toString(); if (helloAndroid.this.ed.length() != 0) { Drawable image = ImageOperations(context, helloAndroid.this.ed, "image.jpg"); file_info = myExampleHandler.filenames .elementAt(j).toString(); author = "\nby " + myExampleHandler.authors.elementAt(j) .toString(); switch (j + 1) { case 1: ImageView imgView1 = new ImageView(context); imgView1 = (ImageView) findViewById(R.id.image1); if (image.getIntrinsicHeight() > 0) { imgView1.setImageDrawable(image); } else imgView1 .setImageResource(R.drawable.empty_wallpaper); tv = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.filename1); tv.setText(file_info); tv = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.author1); tv.setText(author); imgView1 .setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() { public void onClick(View view) { // Perform action on click Intent myIntent1 = new Intent( helloAndroid.this, galleryFile.class); Bundle b = new Bundle(); b.putString("fileID",myExampleHandler.fileid.elementAt(0).toString()); b.putString("page", "1"); b.putString("family", s); b.putString("fi",myExampleHandler.folder_id.elementAt(folder).toString()); b.putString("kw", keyword); myIntent1.putExtras(b); startActivityForResult( myIntent1, 0); } }); break; case 2: ImageView imgView2 = new ImageView(context); imgView2 = (ImageView) findViewById(R.id.image2); imgView2.setImageDrawable(image); tv = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.filename2); tv.setText(file_info); tv = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.author2); tv.setText(author); imgView2 .setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() { public void onClick(View view) { // Perform action on click Intent myIntent1 = new Intent( helloAndroid.this, galleryFile.class); Bundle b = new Bundle(); b.putString("fileID",myExampleHandler.fileid.elementAt(1).toString()); b.putString("page", "1"); b.putString("family", s); b.putString("fi",myExampleHandler.folder_id.elementAt(folder).toString()); b.putString("kw", keyword); myIntent1.putExtras(b); startActivityForResult( myIntent1, 0); } }); break; case 3: //same code break; } } } } } private Drawable ImageOperations(Context ctx, String url, String saveFilename) { try { InputStream is = (InputStream) this.fetch(url); Drawable d = Drawable.createFromStream(is, "src"); return d; } catch (MalformedURLException e) { e.printStackTrace(); return null; } catch (IOException e) { e.printStackTrace(); return null; } } public Object fetch(String address) throws MalformedURLException, IOException { URL url = new URL(address); Object content = url.getContent(); return content; }

  • EJB3 lookup on websphere

    - by dcp
    I'm just starting to try to learn Websphere, and I have my ejb deployed, but I cannot look it up. Here's is what I have: public class RemoteEJBCount { public static Context ctx; private static String jndiNameStateless = "EJB3CounterSample/EJB3Beans.jar/StatelessCounterBean/com/ibm/websphere/ejb3sample/counter/RemoteCounter"; public static void main(String[] args) throws NamingException { RemoteCounter statelessCounter; Hashtable<String, Object> env = new Hashtable<String, Object>(); env.put(Context.PROVIDER_URL, "corbaloc:iiop:localhost:2809"); env.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "com.ibm.websphere.naming.WsnInitialContextFactory"); ctx = new InitialContext(env); statelessCounter = (RemoteCounter)ctx.lookup(jndiNameStateless); } } Is there something I need to be doing differently to look up the EJB?

  • django 'if' statement improperly formatted

    - by Zayatzz
    Im getting strangest error in django so far: 'if' statement improperly formatted Template that raises the error is this: {% if diff >= 0 %} <span class="pos">+{{ diff }} {% else %} <span class="neg">-{{ diff }} {% endif %} </span> <span>{{ a }}</span> view that has a and diff in context is this: def add(request, kaart_id): if request.is_ajax() and request.method == 'POST': x = Kaart.objects.get(id=kaart_id) x.pos += 1 x.save x = Kaart.objects.get(id=kaart_id) from django.utils import simplejson diff = x.pos - x.neg a = "(+1)" context = { 'diff':diff, 'a':a } return render_to_response('sum.html', context, context_instance=RequestContext(request)) It does not matter what equation i use in if, , =, ==.. they all raise the same error. and as far as i can tell its all by the book: http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/ref/templates/builtins/#id5 Alan.

  • How do you make a UIBarButtonItem animation flip?

    - by Andrew Arrow
    In the iPod app on the iPhone there is a UIBarButtonItem in the upper right toolbar that flips between the song and track listings for the album. When you select the button, the button itself does a flip animation. Is there a way to do this with: CGContextRef context = UIGraphicsGetCurrentContext(); [UIView beginAnimations:nil context:context]; [UIView setAnimationTransition: UIViewAnimationTransitionFlipFromLeft forView:[self superview] cache:YES]; Do I need to make a UIBarButtonItem with initWithCustomView vs. initWithImage to achieve this?

  • Grails 1.2.1 with Spring 3.0.0 dependency problem under Jetty

    - by archer
    Just moved to Grails 1.2.1 (used 1.1.1 before). Changed application.properties, ran grails upgrade, fixed BuildConfig and Bootstrap - everything works just fine from grails console. However, getting a problem when deploy packaged war under jetty 6.1.22: 1581 [main] ERROR org.springframework.web.context.ContextLoader - Context initialization failed org.springframework.beans.factory.access.BootstrapException: Error executing bootstraps; nested exception is java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.codehaus.groovy.grails.commons.spring.ReloadAwareAutowireCapableBeanFactory.setParameterNameDiscoverer(Lorg/springframework/core/ParameterNameDiscoverer;)V My project is built with maven2. I researched the war dependencies and see that both spring 2.5.6 and 3.0.0.RELEASE are used there. I then tried to suppress use of spring 2.5.6 and got a problem with Acegi plugin (using version 0.5.1): 2010-03-10 21:06:56.440:WARN::Nested in org.springframework.beans.factory.access.BootstrapException: Error executing bootstraps; nested exception is java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.springframework.web.context.ConfigurableWebApplicationContext.setId(Ljava/lang/String;)V Any help would be greatly appreciated.
