    I'm using Google Test Framework to set some unit tests. I have got three projects in my solution: FN (my project) FN_test (my tests) gtest (Google Test Framework) I set FN_test to have FN and gtest as references (dependencies), and then I think I'm ready to set up my tests (I've already set everyone to /MTd (not doing this was leading me to linking errors before)). Particularly, I define a class called Embark in FN I would like to test using FN_test. So far, so good.     I'm replicating a small piece of Sugarscape agent simulation model in Python 3. I found the performance of my code is ~3 times slower than that of NetLogo. Is it likely the problem with my code, or can it be the inherent limitation of Python? Obviously, this is just a fragment of the code, but that's where Python spends two-thirds of the run-time.   • Silverlight DataGrid vertical scrollbar issue

    I have a DataGrid in my silverlight application and I'm wondering how to get the same behavior for the vertical scrolling as the horizontal scrolling. When I resize the browser horizontally, The app will bunch up all the controls and the horizontal scrollbar will appear, however when I resize it vertially, the controls at the bottom of the app just move out of view. Does anyone know any tricks to handle something like this?

  • JQuery jqGrid vertical spacing issue in IE

    I have been developing an app to use jQuery's jqGrid plugin, and I thought I had it all wrapped up until I tried to view the grid in IE. In IE, the grid appears with a much larger height in the .ui-jqgrid-view div, but the data itself stays at a smaller size and displays at the bottom of the container div (.ui-jqgrid-view). I need to get the grid to display "properly". I don't care if it is the larger size (that IE displays) or smaller (as in FF)... I just need to have the data fill the grid area. Thanks! I got the values perfectly.. but checkbox could not bind the values(could not accept that). It's automatically sets true for all checkboxes.     I have a role based ASP.NET C# web application in which I am putting the menu object inside a session and I have a session timeout configured in the web.config as below: <forms defaultUrl="Home.aspx" loginUrl="Login.aspx" name=".ASPXFORMSAUTH" timeout="10"></forms> I first logged into the system as an employee and waited until the session expires and then when I click a link in the menu I am being rightly redirected to the login page with the ReturnUrl parameter. Now when I try to login to the system as an administrator I am still seeing the employee menu and not the admin menu. The method which loads the menu 1st checks to see if the menu session object is not null if so loads the menu from the session if not then it builds the menu and put it into session. So when the system timesout the menu session object is not being cleared. How can I fix this?

    Hi All I am trying to build a shopping website with ajax. When a user clicks the "add to cart" image. The little loading image will show next to the Add To Cart Image. The first click works fine and the image showed as I expected. However, the second and the following clicks appends more images on the first loading image(2nd:add two loading images, 3rd: add three images..6 total images after 3 clicks). I did use ajaxStop and remove the first image...Not sure what's going on...Could use a help. Thanks a lot.   • IIS and Flash forceSmoothing issue

    Hi everyone, I am incorporating a Flash Flickr Polaroid file into my site, http://www.no3dfx.com/polaroid/ But I am having problems with the images being smooth. I have edited the code throughout with forceSmoothing = true and _quality = best. It all works and looks smooth if I test the file in the preview window and if I run the HTML file. But as soon as I put the file under IIS the smoothing stops. All my flash players are v10+ I have turned the IIS compression off but no luck. Can anyone please help with this? Thanks, Clyde

    I'm currently running Xcode 3.2.2 on Snow Leopard. When opening Organizer Screenshots I see a list of screenshots I did before. But when I click the Capture button, nothing's happening. I don't see any messages popping up or any errors from the Console tab. I also tried restoring the iPod Touch (2nd gen) but that didn't help. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    My background is in WinForms programming and I'm trying to branch out a bit. I'm finding cross-browser issues a frustrating barrier in general, but have a specific one that I just can't seem to work through. I want to display an image and place a semi-transparent bar across the top and bottom. This isn't my ultimate goal, of course, but it demonstrates the problem I'm having ina a relatively short code fragment so let's go with it. The sample code below displays as intended in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. In IE8, the bar at the bottom doesn't appear at all. I've researched it for hours but just can't seem to come up with the solution. I'm sure this is some dumb rookie mistake, but gotta start somewhere.     Trying to set radial gradient to the bg. The problem is, all other browsers shows gradient, on Firefox doesn't. What's wrong? In my editor whenever I write an automatic property it's "get" and "set" wraps to a single line whenever I wrote "set" and put semicolon(;). like this: public string MyProperty { get; set; } I want it to be formatted like this public string MyProperty { get; set; } Currently I am manually formatting it to this after writing it. How can I set it as a default format?

    I need to load a custom cell in a UITableView. I created a custom subclass of UITableViewCell named "CustomTableViewCell". I have added a UITabelViewCell to the tableview (using drag and drop) as shown in figure. Then in file inspector I set the class of that UITabelViewCell to be "CustomTableViewCell".
