  • Issue using GAE appcfg.py

    I get nothing out of appcfg.py besides the default output. I'm trying to upload some data to my development project with no luck at at all. From the instructions on the Google App Engine page the steps are as follows: Edit app.yaml update with appcfg.py make upload script upload with appcfg.py After step one I try to run the update and it never shows any success. The following commands product the same output: appcfg.py appcfg.py update appDir appcfg.py update appDir/ appcfg.py update /appDir If i try to follow the instructions from the appcfg.py output and type help upload and get: "help <action>" I get a response from the system, This command is not supported by the help utility. Try "update /?". cause I'm calling the system help command. If I use the command appcfg.py help upload I get the same result as just typing appcfg.py Can someone show me examples of the syntax to update the dev site, upload data to it and get appcfg.py to actually give help on its commands? Also I'm just assuming that the upload script and the .csv file that are being uploaded are in they myApp directory. Appreciate any help,

  • Two PickerViews in save View issue?

    I'm trying to have 2 pickerviews in the same view. It works except for two things. If one pickerview has more rows than the other the app crashes when picking an item from the pickerview with more items. Also I created an NSLog for the pickerviews and the console shows that I'm picking two items at once when in fact i'm only dealing with one pickerview. I know it sounds a bit confusing but I'm including all the code.   • jQuery iframe overlay with flash closing issue

    Hello, I have a site that has a jQuery overlay, which contains an iframe, which pulls in another site that has flash in it. One of the buttons in the flash has editable parameters in xml, and I can change where the link points to. I want this button to close the overlay, but I can't quite figure out how to get it to work. I have tried the following: closeSection(); and parent.closeSection(); and window.parent.closeSection(); None of which work. Though the last two come close. They seem to close the flash, as the iframe just goes blank. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

  • CSS Centering Issue - Div Centering appx 15px too far to the right

    I have a theme that I'm modifying for my site. I currently have it live on my test domain while I tinker with it before launch. http://www.networkgenius.org The #content-wrap div is centering, but too far to the right for some reason. I've absolutely no idea why it's doing this, especially since everything else is centering properly. What is the problem? I did add a 15px padding to the content-wrap area as I've changed the body's background color to the grey that you see and obviously didn't want the text pressed right up against the edges of the wrapper.   • Verifying existence of name and password in NSUserDefaults to Skip a login/Screen

    I have a Tabbar/Tableview App that modally loads a Login/Signup view when the app loads, I have set up a Root.plist in a settings bundle for the name and password and have successfully retrieved the items. I want to be able to do two things: 1) Do a test to see if the NSUserDefault Strings are empty and if so load the Login/Signup view. 2) If the strings are available then use the string contents to login to my Webservice.     Hey, I'm trying to just export and excel database into .txt (Tab Delimited) but some of my cells are quite large. When I export into a txt some of the cells are exported as '#######....' which is surprisingly useless. Has this happened to anyone else?/ know an easy fix?

  • htaccess rewrite issue while testing on localhost

    I'm running OSX (10.6) with Apache with .htaccess enabled. In the htaccess file I have the code: Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^page/([A-Z0-9._%+-]+) index.php?page=$1 [NC] This runs perfectly on my external server and redirects nicely to index.php?page=whatever However when testing locally from localhost/~james/In%20Progress/Vila%20Maninga/page/whatever I get redirected to localhost/~james/Users/James/Sites/In%20Progress/Vila%20Maninga/index.php?page=whatever. For some reason 'Users/James/Sites/' is being added. Does anyone why this is happening and how to prevent it? Many thanks, James

  • Firefox Upload Form Issue

    Ive created an uplaod script in php that takes a file, resizes it, and creates a cropped square thumbnail. The script itself seems to work fine. However, when i tried to upload an image through firefox, on clicking the submit button the browser shows the loading animation, but it never calls the script, it just stays on the current page. If dont upload an image, then the script can be found and is run. I tried in safari, and i dont get the same problem, i can upload an image from the form, it will process it and take me the correct page. Ive tired just calling a basic script from the form, it just prints out the $_POST and $_FILES, and i get the same result, if an image is present, it wont get to the script, if no image is present, it runs fine. Im just wondering if anyone has any idea whats going on?

Why does doing it the template_query itself changes? I'm new to python and I'm getting pretty confused.

    Hi I created a new DataGridCell style for my wpf datagrid (Red Border brush). When I scroll down vertically the selected cells disappear which is ok. When I scroll up I see the selected cells but few of them missing their style and it appear in wrong cells. It look like the data grid remember the selected cells but "forget" their style.   • actionscript textfield display issue

    I have a textfield inside a rectangle (Sprite). The text fits inside the rectangle just fine, however the actual size of the textfield is larger than that of the sprite. (invisible top margin in the font) The problem is when I added an eventlistener to the Sprite that detects mouse clicks, it fires even when I click outside of the rectangle. How can I fix this? (so that child object size does not exceed parent size)
