• Aptana CSS hinting inside jQuery

  I have code hinting for Aptana setup for jQuery. However, many jQuery actions use strings, which Aptana does not provide hinting. How can I have Aptana give hinting for html and CSS when I am typing inside a string? $(function() { $("#theList tr:even").addClass("stripe1"); $("#theList tr:odd").addClass("stripe2"); }); I have an id="thelist", but since I am inside a double quote, Aptana provides no help.   I've read several articles that tell you how to add text to the output window in visual studio from within an Add-On (specifically, a visual studio 2008 integration package, via the visual studio 2008 SDK 1.1), but no examples of how to read text from the output window. My goal is to parse text from the debug output window while debugging a certain application (TRACE output and possibly stdin/stdout). The IVsOutputWindowPane interface has no methods for reading in text from the output window. In that point the XSLT processor screams: Cannot create XPath expression (string contains both quote and double-quotes) What is the correct way to safely pass arbitrary strings as input to XSLT?   Hi, I have a 5 year old web application which runs tinymce 2.0.5.1 In this version it is possible - in IE 6,7,8 only to paste from MS Word and retain the tab characters. Because of another problem suspected to be caused by TinyMCE, we'd like to upgrade to the current TinyMCE version 3.2.7 However in this version the resulting paste code does not contain anything that seems to 100% link to a tabulator. If pasted into an empty textarea, I get something like , if pasted into a I simply a space character. Can anyone recommend how to detect tabulators when pasting from MS Word?

• Spry Collapsible Panel within Collapsible Panel, inconsistent errors.

  Hello everyone it is me again with another question. The booking system located here http://www.divethegap.com/scuba-diving-programmes-dive-the-gap/divemaster-training.php?cat=16 There are 3 main collapsible panels controlled by the spry framework. There are then over a dozen more inside the first collapsible panel as you can see on that page. When you open one of those by pressing one of the 'learn more' buttons you will see that the main collapsible panel that it is in also expands to fit that content and the contracts if you close the smaller panel again. However as soon as you go to the next main collapsible panel 'summery and quote' and then go back to the first main panel by pressing the button that says 'back' there are problems. Now if you open up one of the smaller panels inside the first main panel you will see that the main panel does not expand to fit the contents and in fact the content of the smaller panels spreads over the other content, floating above it. I'm not interesting in how to get a quote or graph a stock myself, just opening Stocks.app. I was hoping that the Stocks app would have a custom URL format, so opening a URL like stocks://AAPL would do the trick. But I haven't found anything documenting such a scheme, and suspect it doesn't exist. Any other ideas, or is it impossible to integrate with the native Stocks app?

Is there some hook I can use to disable that warning? Can you provide sample elisp code and explanation on how you found the proper hook?

• Unable to encode to iso-8859-1 encoding for some chars using Perl Encode module

  I have a HTML string in ISO-8859-1 encoding. I need to pass this string to HTML:Entities::decode_entities() for converting some of the HTML ASCII codes to respective chars. To so i am using a module HTML::Parser::Entities 3.65 but after decode_entities() operation my whole string changes to utf-8 string. This behavior seems fine as the documentation of the HTML::Parse. As i need this string back in ISO-8859-1 format for further processing so i have used Encode::encode("iso-8859-1",$str) to change the string back to ISO-8859-1 encoding. My results are fine excepts for some chars, a question mark is coming instead. One example is single quote ' ASCII code (’) Can anybody help me if there any limitation of Encode module? Any other pointer will also be helpful to solve the problem. Thanks

As an example, let's say we have the following query: SELECT * FROM tablename WHERE email='$x'; Now, if the user input makes $x=' OR 1=1 --, the query would be: SELECT * FROM tablename WHERE email='\' OR 1=1 --'; The backslash will be added by Magic Quotes with no damage done whatsoever!   I'm using Clojure, so this is in the context of Java regexes. Here is an example string: "{:a "ab,cd, efg", :b "ab,def, egf,", :c "Conjecture"}" The important bits are the commas after each string. I'd like to be able to replace them with newline characters with Java's replaceAll method. A regex that will match any comma that is not surrounded by quotes will do. If I'm not coming across well, please ask and I'll be happily to clarify anything. edit: sorry for the confusion in the title. I haven't been awake very long. String: {:a "ab, cd efg",} <-- In this example, the comma at the end would be matched, but the ones inside the quote would not.

  I am using silverlight / ASP .NET and C#. If I then debug inside the page.aspx code (which of course is ASP .NET) the value of Request["pasword"] is actually this, vtakyoj#"5 Which is the original value. How does that work? I would have thought that I would have to go, HttpUtility.UrlDecode(Request["pswd"], Encoding.UTF8) To get the original value. Hope this makes sense? Thanks.

• Rails ActiveRecord BigNum to JSON

  Hi, I am serializing an ActiveRecord model in rails 2.3.2 to_json and have noticed that BigNum values are serialized to JSON without quotes, however, javascript uses 64 bits to represent large numbers and only ~52(?) of those bits are available for the integer part, the rest are for the exponent. So my 17 digit numbers become rounded off, grrr. Try the following in the Firebug console: console.log(123456789012345678) So, I'm thinking that the json encoder should be smart enough to quote numbers that are too big for the javascript engines to handle. How do I fix up rails to do that? Or, is there a way to override the encoding for a single property on the model (I don't want to_s elsewhere)? Thanks.

  I have a table that I'm using to show details from the line items of a quote. I want to hide a particular row depending on the value of the field in it. The expression I've tried is to set the row visibility to: =IIF(isnothing(First(Fields!NEW_PRICEBREAKS.Value, "QuoteDetail")),true,false) When I run the query from the dataset "Null" returns for NEW_PRICEBREAKS for most of the records. Also, when I expanded the row with another column with this expression: =IIF(isnothing(First(Fields!NEW_PRICEBREAKS.Value, "QuoteDetail")),"is nothing","not nothing") I see "not nothing" repeated over and over again. I've attempted to use TRIM inside of the isnothing to remove spaces and it still doesn't work. Also, the sql data type for NEW_PRICEBREAKS is nvarchar(MAX). Any ideas how I can suppress this row correctly?

• How to make Excel strip ALL quotes from CSV text fields

  When importing a CSV file into Excel, it only strips the double-quotes from the FIRST field on the line, but leaves them on all other fields. How can I force Excel to strip the quotes from ALL strings? For instance, I have a CSV file: "text1", "text2", "numeric1", "numeric 2" "abc", "def", 123, 456 "abc", "def", 123, 456 "abc", "def", 123, 456 "abc", "def", 123, 456 I import it into Excel using Data Import External Data Import Data. I specify that the fields are delimited by commas, and that the text delimiter is the double-quote character. Both the data preview and the actual Excel spreadsheet columns only strip the double-quotes from the first text field. All other text fields still have quotes around them. What's really strange is that Access is able to import this data correctly (i.e. strips quotes from every text field. Note that this is NOT a matter of internal commas or quotes or escape characters. This happens in Excel 2003 and Excel 2007.

• whmcs emails problem

  I am testing out the order process for a test webhost package I have already setup in whmcs. I have it set to automatically setup product upon first payment. When the order goes completes whmcs sends out only four emails to the new customer: "Order Confirmation", "Customer Invoice", "Invoice Payment Confirmation" and "Welcome". It does not send out a "New Account Information" email, which should contain the login details for cpanel. I can successfully log into the client area but not cPanel. I checked the account from my administrator area and I see where it says active and paid also. I have tried several times to setup a test account to see if it would send the email with the cpanel login but it never sends it, though it sends all others. Reply With Quote
