When I run the same in micro CF on my machine it works ok and gives me the expected output. P.S. I'm trying this to get to know the current connections on my application, written in node.js. Trying to debug some issues with connections to the DB. If there is any other alternative that I can use please suggest that as well.

  • scanf formatting issue

    I have a log file with the following format: INFO 2011-03-09 10:26:15,270 [user] message I want to parse the log file using PHP: // assume file exists and all that $handle = fopen("log_file.txt", "r"); while ($line_data = fscanf($handle, "%s %s %s [%s] %s\n")) { var_dump($line_data); } fclose($handle); When I run this code I get: [0]=> array(5) { [0]=> string(4) "INFO" [1]=> string(10) "2011-03-09" [2]=> string(12) "10:26:15,270" [3]=> string(5) "user]" [4]=> NULL } // snip It appears the closing bracket in the format string ("%s %s %s [%s] %s") is disrupting the rest of the line from getting parsed. I checked the PHP docs for scanf (as suggested by fscanf), and I didn't see anything mentioning having to escape a left bracket. Any suggestions on how to get the 4th and 5th elements to look like "user" and "message" respectively?

    Hi, I have a class with a set of properties As given below. class ContactInfo { [ReadOnly(true)] [Category("Contact Info")] public string Mobile { get; set; } [Category("Contact Info")] public string Name{ get; set; } } The objects of this class is being assigned to a property grid, so that the users can update an existing contact. you can see that Mobile is marked as ReadOnly. But, when I want to add an entirely new Contact, I would want the users to be able to edit the contact Mobile also. For that I need to remove the Readonly property dynamically from the Type, before assigning the object to the property grid. Is it possible?

    I was tasked to conduct my first interview and would like to pose my question to this world for both their feedback on my question and also on their solutions. Question: I have a legacy system with users and files, the info of all files pertaining to a user are stored on a flat file. I want to upgrade this system by storing all info on a db, design tables, and create a C# system that will populate the new db as well as ftp the files to a new path. Define the desgin consideration and develop a prototype. Note: We are looking more for what design one would use and why rather than code that compiles. If it does then kudos to you and we will give it more weight. @Tim C, I did show the interviewee the file: User1234.txt UserID=1234 ParentPath=\\somewhere\nowehere\everywhere\1234 FileCount=20 File0=something0.ext ..     Suppose we're making a system where we have to store the addrees for buildings, persons, cars, etc. The address 'format' should be something like: State (From a State list) County (From a County List) Street (free text, like '5th Avenue') Number (free text, like 'Chrysler Building, Floor 10, Office No. 10') (Yes I don't live in U.S.A) What would be the best way to store that info: Should I have a Person_Address, Car_Address, ... Or the address info should be in columns on each entity, Could we have just one address table and try to link each row to a different entity? Or are there another 'better' way to handle this type of scenario? How would yo do it?

  • Sharepoint connected web parts question

    I have one web part (the provider) which displays insurance claims in a gridview. When user clicks on one this value(case number) is passed via IWebPartField interface to another web part(consumer) which displays detailed info about the claim. So far so good. I can select different claims in the provider and the details show up in the consumer just fine. The moment I add a TextBox to the consumer, the consumer no longer recognizes the case number passed. I need the user to be able to enter a value in the textbox and click a button to update that claim info. I can debug and attach to process and it looks like it is getting the case in the callback function, etc, but when it is setting parameters for the stored proc in CreateChildControls, it is null. Comment out the TextBox and it works fine. Any clues as to what is going on? Brand new to Sharepoint web parts...any help appreciated! thanks, PhilJ

  • Serving images from Amazon S3 in PHP application

    So it just occurred to me that once I upload profile pics to S3, I have to figure out a way to keep track of the files. For example, if "susan" uploads 3 profile pics, I need to recall those 3 pictures and display it on her profile page if someone views her page. With that said, would the following work? User uploads picture from form Save file information (filename, user info, etc...) into DB and reference URL from S3 Upload photos to S3 When displaying pictures, I'll query the DB for the info and display the images from S3 accordingly.

    Alright so i have a zip file called data.zip on my desktop. Inside test.zip is another folder called res and inside res is a file called info.txt I have used the zip -u command before to move a file inside the zip but only to the root of the zip i want to move a new version of info.txt from my desktop to the res folder of data.zip i need it for part of a script i'm working on. How can i do this or will the -u function only work for the root? Thank you for any help on how i can accomplish this

I have initialized my repository with: git init copied it using cd .. git clone --bare project.git uploaded it to FTP, and when trying to access: git clone *ftp_address* Initialized empty Git repository in D:/project/.git/ Password: error: Access denied: 530 while accessing *ftp_address*/info/refs fatal: HTTP request failed I checked and .../project.git/info/refs does not exists.   • Overriding the default error message for a ModelForm

    Is there any way to override a error_message text for all the fields of a ModelForm's, without having to include all the field info in the ModelForm? For example, let's say I have a (very simple) model like this: People(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=128, null=True, blank=True, help_text="Please type your name.") age = models.IntegerField(help_text="Please type your age.") I don't like the cut and dry default messages, such as, "Enter a whole number.", so I'd like to change them to something a bit nicer like "Please type a number." Ideally I'd be able to add an "error_message" property in the model, but the model does not support that property. So does that mean I have to basically duplicate all the model info in my ModelForm, or is there a way around that?

  • Poor performance / speed of regex with lookahead

    I have been observing extremely slow execution times with expressions with several lookaheads. I suppose that this is due to underlying data structures, but it seems pretty extreme and I wonder if I do something wrong or if there are known work-arounds. The problem is determining if a set of words are present in a string, in any order. For example we want to find out if two terms "term1" AND "term2" are somewhere in a string. I do this with the expresion: (?=.*\bterm1\b)(?=.*\bterm2\b) But what I observe is that this is an order of magnitude slower than checking first just \bterm1\b and just then \bterm2\b This seems to indicate that I should use an array of patterns instead of a single pattern with lookaheads... is this right? it seems wrong...     I have a small custom module which is supposed to show on all product pages, but it doesn't. It only shows when setting its reference to "content", but I want it to display witin the already existing product view divs, thus, display it within the "product.info" reference. Now i have another binary which tries to find out about extents for all the files. Now currently i am using linear search to find extent info for the files in the above mentioned text file. This is a time consuming process. Is there a better way of coding this ? Like Implementing any good data structure like BTree. If B+ Tree is used what is the key, branch factor i need to use ?

I want to have a timeout on these threads, such that if it exceeds the timeout, they are killed: t = [] for x in range(10): try: t.append(Process(target=thread_method, args=(x,) ) ) t[-1].start() except Exception as e: logger.error("Error: unable to start thread") logger.error("Error message: " + str(e)) logger.info("Waiting up to 60 seconds to allow threads to finish") t[0].join(60) for n in range(len(t)): if t[n].is_alive(): logger.info(str(n) + " is still alive after 60 seconds, forcibly terminating") t[n].terminate() The problem is that calling terminate() on the process threads isn't killing the launched run.sh script - it continues running in the background until I either force kill it from the command line, or it finishes internally. Is there a way to have terminate also kill the subshell created by os.system()?

There have been questions about this before on stackoverflow, but the last one was over a year ago (over 400 answers), which is where I got the products listed above. Just wondering if I've overlooked anything produced more recently. Thanks for any help.
